Sports / Re: Who Knows The Reasons Behind This Weird Occurrence About Nigeria Football Player by chinavs9ja(m): 6:13pm On Jul 25, 2020
Ade3131:
Footballers play for 3 things; Money, fame and trophies. But unfortunately, due to our elongated suffering and poverty ridden mindset and upbringing, our footballers stop playing as soon as they achieve the first on the list.... remember virtually all the Naija based players have one suffering story or the other to tell.

That's why many make their way to Europe, sign their first pro contract and that marks the end... Only a few fraction of Nigeria players abroad make fame while a very small percentage of those who made fame pursue trophies.

It takes more than passion and talent to pursue legendary status at club level and most of our players only play for the money or to eradicate poverty in their family.

For the likes of Iwobi and Anichebe who were born and raised abroad, well, it might shock you to know that these guys were born into average families over there and we shouldn't get ahead of ourselves to think they were born by rich immigrant parents. That same ideology of remember your root would have been transferred from their parents. So theoretically speaking, they're still raised with a poor man's mind and that's what affects their professional career.
You are right

to you now you have made a point
if government doesn't take the initiative, it's people like you that will blame the government for not providing housing

Tell me anywhere in the world where government provides free housing or infrastructure
I'm waiting
Nobody says government should provides housing for free, the pricing should be affordable enough for the masses that is my concern. The situation where government will be creating project that her citizens can't afford but for high class citizens so is that one development? The majority voted the government not only the high class citizens which I know is very minimal in the locales.

If everyone thinks like you. There will not be a single development anywhere. All because you think. Ogbeni shove your thoughts in your azz. If he did fine, if he didn't fine. Let them do it first, don't be an enemy of progress.
There are other things they can work on rather than this so-called development. I am not seeing anything that I can be a foe to than an audio project? I talk and think straight without any bias or tribalism. I wonder if you are in this country because you are being carried away with this mere audio project. tongue

We are very pleased to support this contribution to Nigeria’s national development priorities and in particular, to help meet the critical need for affordable housing, through innovative approaches to construction and mortgage financing.”
Oga shift, what is affordable for the rich is not affordable to the masses. So, we can't call a project that won't benefit the masses a development. undecided They are building homes for politicians like them and rich men so they can make money from it to their pockets. I will welcome this as development if they will rent it out to the amount which the masses can afford. Think straight man!
Properties / Re: Ekiti Partners With UNOPS And SHS Holdings To Build 50,000 Homes by chinavs9ja(m): 9:52am On Jul 02, 2020
This is not a development...See Govt. that wants to build homes that will be rented to her citizens at an unfriendly price. This is a business, not development to the state. Abeg what next!

Your nepotism won't allows you to see the bad side of what am saying,,,if you can clearly state it out where the court mention that the property will be used for isolation centres? Only for you to see that all of these are placed on auction and the money disappears into the thin air.

Religion / Lagos, Ogun Now Infected With Anti-church Virus – Oyedepo by chinavs9ja(m): 5:31pm On Jun 28, 2020
The Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church International, popularly known as Winners’ Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, says Lagos and Ogun states have been infected with anti-church virus hence the decision to open markets and keep churches shut.

The cleric said this while delivering a sermon on Sunday.

Oyedepo said it was ironic that people in marketplaces no longer observe social distancing or hygiene and remain open but the church is being suppressed because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

He argued that refusing to open the church was in contravention of the freedom of worship which is enshrined in the constitution.

The cleric added, “No handwashing, no nothing, everyone is in the market running over each other every day of the week and there is no outbreak from the market but there is now outbreak, perceived outbreak from the church. Prophets are God’s voices to the nations. Caution!

“Now, freedom of worship is no longer a constitutional right but now determined by some individuals. It is a hard thing to kick against the priest. This is no longer coronavirus in Lagos and Ogun. It is now anti-church virus clean and clear.”

Oyedepo said in the last one week, 10 people testified to have been healed of the disease.

The cleric argued that the church which had the power to heal people remained closed.

Crime / Crime Has Caused More Harm, How Can We Get Back Trust As A Nigerian? by chinavs9ja(m): 11:32am On Jun 27, 2020
There is no doubt, crime is bad and there is no existing fact that can justify it. In fact, I even doubt the future of this country(Nigeria) in international trading. I almost wept when a guy was narrating his experience with someone who happens to be his potential client, this client has to deny him of the contract just because he is a Nigerian. Do we have to deny our noble country just for us to get space in international market? However, the rate at which Nigerians are indulging in crime is alarming and if we don't cautioned this on time even the innocent will be label wrongly. Recently, Hushpuppi was arrested and this will tarnish the image of the innocent Nigerians. Surprisingly, I even saw some Nigeria youths supporting him, claiming he collected the money of their forefather? The question is do they even know their forefather or how does 18th and 19th century relate to 21st century? There is no justification for crime even if our government is not doing well that doesn't call for crime. Now my concern is how can we gain the trust of those that are outside Nigeria, especially me a web developer that deals with clients outside Nigeria? Hushpuppi has caused more harm to the innocent.
