@all who have posted for and against this, i salute you all. I will also plead that we remove sentiments whenever we want to post on sensitive issues like this. What we make of today awaits for us in the future. We may be spitting rubbish that we will come back tomorrow to brood upon. Lets all think before well before posting. Most people that visit this site see our posts as representations of Nigerians' mentality. Most times, we post within ethnic and religious divides and it is of no good for our co-existence.

As for the issue on ground, i must say that what Nigeria needs at this point is a total reorientation which has to start somewhere. Of course, just very few can be convinced that the present day government can do anything about her electorates but i dont think all hope is lost. The plain truth is that the system is too bad that it can corrupt even an angel once you get into the terrain but that is not a reason not to try to fight it at all. In as much as i hated Pastor Bakare for his silence over the violence that ensued after the elections in 2011, i must say that i am a bit impressed for the events of the past few days. whether he is doing it to score cheap political points or not, a start like that is not bad at all. Lets not discourage those voices because tomorrow, we may realize that what is playing out today will shape our tomorrow.

we must learn to remove tribalism from our hearts if we must live together as a nation else we will be validating that assumption that we don't have any Nation like Nigeria.

Gaddaffi would have been my hero if he had put a bullet to his head when he was apprehended rather than pleading for his life. He died a shameful death after transforming Libya during his early years. In as much as we can hold some exceptions for Ojukwu, there is no level of comparison between them. Before now, i respected Gaddaffi for how he shunned the west but his finishing showed a full blown coward. I am sorry but lets face the facts here.

There is no way i can regard GADDAFFI as a hero as he missed the timeline well designed for him to create one.

Mr Camping, who runs a Christian broadcast channel, ‘Family Radio’, was reportedly "flabbergasted" when no one was "raptured" on May 21 of this year, although people did die as a result of his claims. However, he says that "God accomplished exactly what he wanted to happen" and that a "spiritual judgement" had occurred in May in order to make way for the "physical destruction" this Friday.

Before the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse roamed into town, Camping recruited ‘dedicated followers’ to his ‘theory’, ‘religion’, fringe group or whatever you’re having, and many of them quit their jobs so they could focus on the task at hand.

According to reports, when the last ‘Apocalypse’ was on its way, Camping told his followers to get rid of their pets as they had no place in Heaven. Thankfully though, neighbours were only too happy to rescue the ‘doomed’ pets.

I feel u my guy. I know Gaddafi did relatively well compared to our clowns here in Nigeria but he refused to bow out when the ovation was loudest. he would have remained a celebrated figure if he had quietly relinquished power but he chose to die in a shameful way. Anyway, that should be a big lesson to our stupid African leaders and other tyrants world over. As for the way he was killed, i don't feel any sober because if you check what havoc he caused trying to retain power and the innocent souls deceived to die for his lies, you will know that there is no need being sorry. As for the west, you are right, Libya will never be up to the level they are economically as the west will definitely try to influence with their IMF, world bank policies that will benefit them. I work in one of Nigeria's financial establishments as a web developer and also a freelance developer with xoriant company of India.
