Because Sports24 polarisation is Vertical, placing your plate Horizontally means weakening the signal strength of Vertical TPS on that Satellite, unfortunately in this case it's Sports24.

Look at the three holders at the back.

@ Chinedu, its all about the way you position and skew the lnb. From my experience, my NTA on v was 81% while that of H was 84% so I concentrated on getting the best signal level on H, then blind scanned to get Sp 24.

If you get Sports24 on H, then you don't have more than 50% signal quality and it also means if you change to V, you will achieve 51% - 52%. Your NTA also must be up to 90% if I am not mistaken.

Your target is Sports24 not NTA or AFN(Both H). It will be difficult for you to get Sports24 on H. Only a sports24 signal up to 52% on V can work on H, and it be like 47% on H. That's why your best bet is to track with V because Sports24 is V. Even if you track with H and have NTA at 87% Sports24 will come out.

That is why you can't get it, NTA is h and Sports24 is V and because NTA has strong signal, if you change to V, the signal will drop but still shows, that won't happen with Sports24 because the signal isn't strong and it's not h, so you must turn the plate to V and try to improve the NTA to 86, then all your suffering will end.

What is wrong with your ground mount is the absence of the three angle holders, without them the dish will be dropping down under strong wind, that was why you experienced signal loss last night. You could have exercised little more patient before converting it to pole mount. Ground mount is easier to move around, that is the advantage but you installed it wrongly though it's not the reason why you don't get Sports24 rather it was the reason why you lost signal.

I doubt it's the fault of dish assemble. Try another cband lnbf if you have one. It could be lnbf problem. Again if you managed to get it before then it shouldn't go within few hours. I think your dish is not properly locked, I mean you didn't tight it well. Try and get nta back to 85% and lock every bolt as hard as you can. This new Sports24 doesn't drop at night, infact it adds 2% at night.

The frequency I mean is the ident, press 8282 navigate to the powervu key you want to change. The first digits is 4 numbers for cband. Edit the one you want to change. That's all.

You don't need any key. Go to powervu menu change the old frequency to the new one. That's all.

I don't want to discourage you but that blue carton Supermax is the weakest C- band lnb I have ever used.
I have two of them, dual inputs that couldn't serve the purpose and in their carton.

This is the one I talked about. It's what I am currently using on Sports24. It's wonderful and cheaper than almighty Eurostar even if I can't separate both based on performance. Remember that there are many fake products in the market. I have recommended this to many people and it hasn't failed them. I have two of them performing wonders.

You are close, now you need to drop your lnbf so deep to 32 or 34 mark. It's unconventional, strange but it will give you extra 6%. Good luck.

When dropping it, you need to shift your dish few inches to the right that is while standing at the back of your dish. Use NTA TP 3777 3777H, achieve up to 87% on srt4922 then blindscan or input sports24 tp.

4950H is not a bad option though not as good as 4922a or 4922D+
