Tinubu is not working with Amaechi. He prefers Wike. But I doubt if Amaechi will defect to PDP now because that would mean disrespecting Pres. Buhari. However, after the governorship election, he may come out clearly to direct his supporters to vote Atiku.

About five months to the expiration of his tenure as Kaduna state governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai has apologised to those he might have offended while in office.

The Kaduna state governor said this in Kaduna at the commissioning ceremony of the head office of the Sultan Foundation for Peace and Development, Daily Trust reports.

He said:

“We try to do what is right but only God is right, my apologies to anyone that I have offended, we have five months to go and I will like to leave and sleep in peace.”

It's no more news that Wike recently announced that he will reveal his candidate. Inasmuch as we are yet to be 100% certain who it could be but 95% chance it will not be Atiku.

January announcement is same end game Tambuwal played on Wike and Wike pushing his announcement dying minute as January/February just weeks before election is assumed smart from his end. With the doubt that Wike's gonna support a Muslim-muslim ticket, it's looking like Peter Obi will get the endorsement from Wike(G5).
If in any way,things don't unravel the way we assume and Wike asks Rivers people to vote Tinubu,it's a dead on arrival situation cos Rivers people are already in love with their own Peter Obi.


But wait o. I swear,I'm still very much surprised up till now that Tambuwal could betray Wike putting into consideration how very close they were. Life sha!

The mass killings going on in Nigeria's middle belt is now at genocidal proportions and worse still, nothing is being done to stop it. What is even more scary is the fact that local media both print and electronic no longer report the mass killings. What we now have is a conspiracy of silence while village after village are being wiped off of their original inhabitants.

The situation is now a matter of life and death for these beleaguered aborigens of Nigeria's middle belt. However, with Buhari on his way out and a new president about to emerge, the people of middle belt, particularly their Christians must see the election as a do or die affair. Who among the 3 major candidates will passionately want to defend their basic rights to life?

You have Atiku, Obi and Tinubu to choose from.

Tinubu has already shown in both actions and inactions that the dignity and sanctity of the lives of Northern Christians is never his concern. He not only denied them their political rights of representation in selecting his VP but has never shown any desire to protect them.

Just like Tinubu, Atiku has equally shown nothing but utter disdain for the middle belt people. A case in point was when an innocent undergrad Christan girl from Middle belt was gruesomely murdered. Many Nigerians condemned the dastardly murder of Deborah and called for the arrest of the perpetrators. Atiku was also among those that condemned it. However, when the Muslim fanatics bullied him, Atiku withdrew his earlier statements like a timid puppy with his tail in-between his hind legs. If Atiku has conscience and character, he ought to have stood his ground. What it means is that the interest of Middle belt Christians will never be his priority.

The the last option is Peter Obi. This man is not only a Christian but has people from these Middle belt hotspots in his inner circle. Ndi Karto and several others who are close to him are from these villages being systematically wiped out. Also, Peter Obi has pledged he will return the vast lands of Northern Nigeria to massive farmlands and production centers. We all know that such can't take materialize except there is enduring peace. So, obviously, Peter Obi is the only one among the 3 major contestants who can truly save the middle belt people from being wiped out completely.

Therefore, if you're from the Middle belt, particularly the Christian parts, just know that voting for Peter Obi is not just the only way to save your neck but also to give you dignity in a country you're being trampled upon.

If you're from Middle belt, and you see anyone around you supporting those you know won't protect you, just see that person as a threat to your existence. If you can enlighten them on reasons why they should support and vote for Obi, pls do otherwise keep them at arm's length.

The percentage of votes Peter Obi eventually gets from Middle belt will be directly proportional to those that have chosen life over death.
