Hey guys, good morning. Please I have a question. I recently got admitted to a 2 years masters program as a Self-funded student. The tuition for both year is 14k pounds ie 7k per year. 7k per year is what is stated on the offer letter. So, here's my question. For the proof of funds required for visa application, will I show evidence for just 1 year tuition (7k) or for both year (14k). Please assist. |

Bourne007: Hello Bourne007, could you please clarify the "switched visas" bit of your post. Ypu mean switched to the regular work (tier 2) visa and held on to their placement jobs after they completed studies? |

Ekykool: Hello, just to clarify, I always had the impression that higher semester admission only works if you're transferring from another MASTERS degree. Is it possible to apply for with only BSc for higher sememster masters? Or do you intend to apply for another Bachelors degree? Kindly clarify. 1 Like |

odimbannamdi: For Hohenheim, I made the post. Find below: Just so you know, there's a possibility for tuition waiver, go through the link below and see if you qualify https://www.uni-hohenheim.de/en/faq-tuition-fees-international-students#jfmulticontent_c327225-7 Pay close attention to number 3 of "who can be exempted from study fees upon request" and explore that with your program coordinator. Cheers mate. 1 Like 3 Shares |

odimbannamdi: I think this is what you're looking for: post by Eldeee on page 449. Send a polite mail to your program coordinator stating you would like to be given a consideration as regards the waiver considering financial challenges in relation to our economy. Let him know other schools in Baden wurttemberg are given considerations to students from LCD and ACP countries of which we are part of it. At least for now I know of tubingen and university of applied science Stuttgart. For we in Karlsruhe, we have done same and our program coordinator has taken it up to the school authorities. We are expecting a positive response in no distant time. All the very best. NB : Less I forget, if you possibly can attach the document (Baden wurttemberg state law on education) where it was clearly stated. For the schools that gave such waivers, navigate to the English masters program for geoinformatics, you will see it clearly stated on their website. So you can also make reference to it. Germans like you to give them proofs of whatever you are seeking for. cc: area74 2 Likes 3 Shares |
