I was there today. The experience was quite surprising. Thing went from 0 to 100 real quick. But they finally paid us the 5k transport allowance through our state account this evening. But they didn't treat us (the 'corpers') well... We were very peaceful during the protest. There was no need for the tear gas. |
docphresh:Orchard is our unofficial love garden. |
Too many trolls here with their "reliable" source. Let's just sit tight and watch how this HARPS drama unfolds. I had already lost hope because I scored an average of 59.5 but after going through this thread, I am quite hopeful again. Good luck to everyone. |
MznAirA:You didn't see the part of the story that said the truck driver drove against traffic? |
bloodkiIler:I don't know what this means, but be it a blessing or a curse, I wish you the same. Have a great day. ![]() |
bloodkiIler:Just read your own comment, does it make sense to you? |
I see some people venting all their life's frustrations on the op. Whether you believe this story or not, if you can't enjoy this story and relax with it, then your problems are very big and I pray God visits and helps you soon. To People criticizing senselessly, it's just like saying you don't enjoy/like Jet li and Jackie Chan movies because there are some film tricks in them. I didn't believe the story 100% but I learned from it and I enjoyed it 100%. |
That Twitter has driven a lot of people crazy especially ladies. They have no shame when they tweet and it's usually dirty uncouth tweets just because they want re-tweets and mentions. How can any sensible lady post what this idiot did? I'm not "holy holy" o, but still, the stupidity and filthiness of ladies on Twitter amazes me. |

To be honest, this is the best piece I've read on nairaland. Can't believe I was awake till past 3am this morning because I wanted to get to the end of the story. All the haters criticizing and saying the story is fiction are just trying to pull the op down. As mature individuals, we all know some things must have been added and some exaggerated to make the story a good read. Whether fiction or not, learn what you can from the story and enjoy the rest cos this is one hell of an interesting and intriguing story. I've had this same type of offer to come to Malaysia before but I declined. You all just have to be wise and don't be carried away by what your friends over there tell you and the soft life they portray to living over there on Facebook. Quoting a friend of mine: "No level for them, na picture many of dem dey go snap for there" Once again, Thumbs up to the OP, You're good. |
Hello all, I received the text message from HARPS this afternoon. But I still haven't received the email. Is any one here having this same issue? |
Nothing wrong with sport competitions and excursion. I agree with your other points. |
ziqqz:It must be located somewhere in West Africa, since that happens to be Ghana, just deal with it. We have to accept things like this. We can't win all. |
MizJanet:For an atheist who's suppose to employ logic, you don't seem too logical. You're just trying to look smart but in the process, you're making yourself look dull. I have nothing to contribute on this matter but your argument is very weak. I respect some atheist when they present their points but not you. |
cramjones:True talk. The names we tag our leaders with ate too demeaning. First it was gej the clueless. Now it's pmb the dullard. It doesn't tell well of us as a nation. I'm in support of you. This has to stop. |
Temo:I was supposed to but I didn't make it. How was it? |
scarred9jan:Which state are you? |
hahn:I have just one question for you: you may not have had a personal experience of evil spirits and their works, but sincerely, from what you've heard or maybe seen in your surroundings, do you acknowledge the existence of evil spirits? Please be sincere. |
When I encounter European and American atheists, I'm not so shocked. But when I see African atheists, I'm amazed by their folly given the everyday manifestation of demonic and evil spirits in this part of the globe. Y'all atheist try to look smart by talking about science and logic in the analysis of God's existence. Fine, you haven't seen God, neither have I. But didn't your science and logic tell you that for every action, there's an "equal and opposite" reaction? And if any of you dare deny you haven't encountered evil spirits and their works, or at least, you can't acknowledge their existence, you know within you that you're deceiving yourself. That said, what is the opposite of evil spirits which Christians believe their source of power is the Devil? We Christians refer to that being as God but he's not equal to the devil, he reigns supreme over everyone and everything, just the same way satanists believe the devil reigns supreme. If you're are an atheist, contact me and I'll introduce you to a friend who's a spiritualist. By the time he's done with you, you'll definitely believe in God. You all just need more proof to believe and I hope you get more than enough proof soon. |
baby124:I'm not sure you read the complete report. They didn't speculate anything. They just stated true facts about Nigeria and its political and economic climate. So, what are you ranting about? |
Every Agricultural venture is profitable if done on a commercial scale and properly managed. |
trayvon360:See this Paragon Nigga. How far na? I see you but you can't see me. ![]() |
All the trekkers apart from the first one are unoriginal, copy-cats and big idi0ts. |

Before y'all start bashing him, remember it's his opinion and he rightly justified it. |
Most of the jobs being posted are either not related to the job fields one chose while setting up his/her profile or the job requirements are so unrealistic thus making it almost impossible for a fresh graduate with little or no experience to meet up with. I think the companies recruiting should be a bit more realistic with their job requirement because I believe a greater percentage of PushCv elite employees have minimal experience. This should be looked into in my opinion. Also, I'm happy some persons have received the mail with "forwarded to recruiter" status; that's a sign of hope for the rest of us. All the best everyone. |
...and you're not even in Nigeria. So, what's your gain? Just "I love you baby" messages via whatsapp that's what you're paying for? It's good to be generous as much as possible but this your own is on another level. If it makes you happy, carry on. |
Good evening everyone, I can't update my profile on PushCv site. After completing the form that appears when you click the "complete your profile" button and submitting, an error message pops up. I've tried it both on my laptop and phone and it's the same on both. Is anyone here experiencing the same problem? |
ROSYL:No offence, but if that's your only reason, you're wrong. I already cited higher authorities that said otherwise. English is tricky you know, so I'll stick with what the alphabetic method till I'm convinced beyond doubt it's wrong. Thanks. |
ROSYL:...but I remember vividly in 100 level use of English, under telephone etiquette. It was clearly stated that we say the alphabet O instead of zero when dealing with phone numbers and I've seen the same online too. I'm not arguing, I can learn something new today. Just educate me why you think it's wrong. Thank you. |
12month:http://englishwithatwist.com/2013/04/09/how-to-say-zero-in-english/ You can Google more... I first got to know about this in 100 level... I don't know if this is applicable matric number. |
