Studying MSc Data Science and AI for a year, and MSc Social Work for two years
Please which one is better as per getting job after school in the UK
Also will I need to show proof of fund for two years incase I chose a two-year course?

Which documents do you want to authentication, basically if u are going for masters in Portugal you will need to authentication your bsc, transcript and o level, but it is your Bsc and transcript that will be submitted at Portugal embassy and there verification at the embassy for Bsc&transcript is free at the process last for 5-6 weeks after which you will called to legalize that same day which is 51k for the 2 (Bsc& transcript), people with Hnd&ND and transcript will pay 250k for verification.

My school have a refund policy of health challenge and death of immediate family member but you have got to present evidence. What evidence can I get to get my deposit back. Honestly, I don't want to go to UK for now, and my school starts in May. Also should I wait until school start before request for refund or I can do it now. I received my CAS early February.

I can't change to PhD nah.
But can I change to Masters course route to Masters in Research? or it must be that on my visa. If it will be possible to switch to a Research Masters during enrolment then, it may be favorable

As someone mentioned if the school can transfer you to PhD then better as you will be able to come with a man.
Note you can't transfer to another program outside what is stated on your visa. Like changing from master to PhD as u will need to come back to Nigeria first the school knows this rule

I won't sugar coat it; things are tough here. If you have a STRONG friendship or relationship with someone here that can accommodate you for sometime while you figure things out and 70% of your tuition sorted out, then come.

Otherwise, ask school for refund to pursue masters by research. Go find husband do court marriage so both of you can join hands together in surviving here.

Alternative will be Portugal but you need strong agent and you need to start now

Since you have paid your fees, they have issued you CAS, I don't think they will give a refund.
But generally there is job issues everywhere and since u will land alone no dependant.
All will now depend on the fees balance remaining and also your school instalment payment plan. Ask current student if they disturb them via locking of portal etc. There are few schools that don't for now they are very few as most schools has copied same strategy in getting the student running around for their money.

3 depend on how fast you can be in getting a job.
4 depends on the cities. As we say there are no job there are places that it's more worst. I am in Northeast UK so I can point Middlesbrough, Teeside. I can point hull getting jobs this area is times 2 as this people often go to neighbouring cities looking for job

If you have a boyfriend/husband (and you no go show am shege later, lol ) come via masters by research while he becomes the dependent. As a dependent, he is not restricted to job employer or number of hours.

You hustle for 20hrs jobs, take your classes seriously and pamper your hubby while your hubby hustle. Before landing, use indeed and find out most available jobs in the location your are going. Get your references ready. Immediately you land, let him start applying and doing certifications required in that field. Good luck

I think you people should be including locations where there are no jobs so we can know where to put head.
I see people that will also say there's job and you can meet up, so I think it's like a two-way thing getting a job. Let's have more clarity here please.

Please for someone that paid deposit fee to a UK university using Form A through flywire corporation, if he wants a refund from the school, I know they will refund to flywire and flywire to the bank I used.
Now, if they refund to flywire, what at rate will they refund it to the bank? the rate when it was paid or the current rate?

THE JOURNEY OF AUSTRIA LEGALIZATION

Starting from the Ministry of Education down to the Austria embassy.

📍 If you are doing all the process by yourself. It may be tiresome, but you just have to endure. First before preparing to go to the MOE, ensure that you have uploaded your document online and make payments through the remita portal (1000 per document). An appointment slip and remita generated receipt should be printed along with your *original documents* for authentication at the MOE.

📍 Please, ensure to be at the MOE before 6 a.m. If you get there by 7 a.m., I can say your chance of getting a number is 10%. The reason is that they usually attend to the first 50 people who come for authentication. You will put down your name and before they can issue you a number or tally, they will check *if you are with your appointment slip and remitta generated receipt*. If you don't have the two, they will not give you the number.

📍 Ensure you have photocopies of all your credentials/documents with you and any valid means of identification.

📍 Now the process begins, they start attending to people by 9:30 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. (as the spirit leads them). They will check your appointment slip, remitta to receipt and your educational documents, then move to the next table with a sticker will be generated for your certificate. At this second stage, if your documents were not uploaded very well, they will ask you to go and re-upload. Do you know what this means? You will have to pay another money for re-uploading which is #1,000 per document. I saw people who re-upload their documents 3 times before they were issued the sticker.

📍 After you have been issued the sticker, you will take all your documents together with the photocopies to where you will submit them for signature. Here, you will be asked to buy an envelope (#100) to pack your documents. Then you will be waiting to collect your documents after it has all been signed. Note that it is not easy as I have narrated my experience, you will have to queue and pen down your name in every stage I have mentioned. 6. After the collection of your documents, you can request for *ELIGIBILITY LETTER AND ENGLISH PROFICIENCY LETTER*. I got the two documents that same day after I finished with the authentication but here, *you will have to do the needful* to get it that same day and that is if you know the right channel. Actually, it is *FREE* but you may not get it that same day. 

🔺MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS 🔺Then to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This is as simple as ABC, there is no stress or any kind of hassle. Just payment remitta payment of *#300 per document* here. If all your original documents are 10 (for example), and you want the MOFA to authenticate both the original and photocopy for you, that means you will have to make payment for the photocopy as well. ( But I don't think it is necessary since the Austria Embassy doesn't need photocopies of your document). Also, the MOFA will request for their copy too for record purposes and you should have a *passport photograph* with you because they will request one copy of your passport.
The reason why I said this stage is easy is that you don't need to go earlier to the ministry but *just ensure you're there before 12 pm or 1 pm so*. The time for collection starts by 3 pm (after you have submitted your documents)

🔺Now to the *AUSTRIA EMBASSY*🔺

This is the stage where you will go and submit your credentials with the sum of *#200,000 payable in cash*. Please, note that any denomination less than *#500* will not be accepted by the embassy. Here you are not allowed to go in with your phone. The security at the entrance of their office will scrutinize you and s/he will help you keep your phone. 

At the Austrian embassy, two of my documents (digital age declaration and the other affidavit I attached to my document) were rejected based on the reason that *THEY ARE NOT PRINTED IN COLOUR COPY* 

*PLEASE, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. ENSURE THAT YOUR DIGITAL AGE DECLARATION FROM THE HIGH COURT OR ANY OTHER DOCUMENTS FROM THE HIGH COURT ARE PRINTED IN COLOUR*

I was asked to provide it within the next two weeks. But thank God, I have the soft copy sent to my phone but I will have to print it in color and authenticate it at the MOFA before taking it to the embassy for final submission.
That was my experience with the process.

I applied for 2024 January intake at the university of Hull, but they offered me for May 2024 intake saying I applied late. On their site, I did not see any May intake application. I'm confused now. Abeg somebody should clarify me, do they offer May intake.

Can I use a different account for my CAS to my school, and use a different bank account for Visa application
Reason is I want to use my MFB account to submit to the school so that I can meet up with the CAS deadline, but I will like to use commercial bank for my VISA. Can it work like this, or I must use the same account I used for CAS for Visa?

But the thing is it has an address of the school where it also stated that "on no account should it be release to the candidate for personal use"
So I'm wondering if to remove that page and use just the main 4-page transcript without the address.

Please my school sent my transcript to a school here in Nigeria that I wanted to do my masters in years back, but the school didn't give me admission. So I went to the school and took the transcript. Now can I use this for my Austrian application? Is it authentic? Will it be accepted for legalisation? Or I need a new one altogether?

Since your salary account is with the MFB, you can add it to show your income,
But if you can move the fund to a commercial bank, do so and provide statement of account from both banks.
