rentAcock: You are allowed to dance for Jesus just as you are allowed to sing praises of his name. You can dance galala, skelewu, azonto, shaku shaku for all you care, Jesus loves all forms of praise and worship. What isn't allowed is any dance that is sexually suggestive such as twerking or grinding next to the opposite sex. there is a message behind some dance. Not all praise and worship is acceptable. I'm not so sure Jesus will inhabit a praise of soapy. |

honestly it has. I understand the whole king David danced angle, but it has become something these days. David for his dance never lost consciousness of the reason for his dance which is God.But today dey wan turn am to club, ladies shaking their waist with reckless abandon while the guys dance like drunkards. They either sleep off during sermon or walk out and wait for the next praise session. |

Why I should be employed.
I have been opportune to attain the basic educational qualifications needed for a white collar job. Going through school was one big hassle, only determination and the prize ahead kept me going. I hold a bachelor's degree in educational Management from the university of ilorin. I didn't get the dream 1st class but ended up with a 2.1,albeit a healthy 4.1 CGPA. Since I'm in the education sector, I have steadily tried to become a better professional with each passing time. During my year 3, I had my first foray into teaching cum working environment via what they call teaching practice. That showed me the dynamics and challenges of teaching and education as a whole. I completed the program a better person-all round, and also left the students better. I was a bit computer savvy, so I impacted them in few ways like;
Infusing audiovisuals. Ms word skills. Sourcing and fully utilizing Google, e.t.c
Fast forward to post NYSC, I had a few stints in some places, but none matched what I truly desired in terms if finances and growth. I have always believed in continuous andnever ending education, so I sought to improve myself. First, my info technology skills needed upgrade big time. I resorted to self help and learning accounting packages like. EXCEL, ERP, POWERPOINT. I am far from mastery, but at least I can manipulate these packages to great effect. There are also programmes central to my core field which I am currently running. The Cambridges, IGCE's, and A' levels are programmes which have opened my eyes to new dimensions in education and student-teacher partnership. I am also registered with the Teachers registration council of Nigeria. I have come to realise that no matter how much time and effort may go into these things, every chance for self improvement should be grabbed with both hands without thinking twice- at whatever cost. Would I be willing to venture out of my field? Yes! Yes!! The goal is to be an all rounded, a Jack of all, and a master of all.Being a master goes beyond mere words or wishes, hence I have been preparing my self toward getting to such heights.
Entrepreneurship is a bright idea, but I believe in learning the ropes via paid employment and being answerable and responsible to an organization. That's why I will welcome this opportunity. In today's highly competitive and profit driven society, I think you need a team filled with individuals who would give you value for money. Team members who possess noble qualities which I think I have.I am honest, hardworking and Time conscious. Ambitious yet loyal. I am an individual who does not entertain failure, yet does not get complacent about success. I hope you consider my abilities sufficient for the role you seek to employ. cc; ifyalways |

safarigirl: Ladies, please take note
If any of these men that are active on Nairaland ask you out, please, say no to them
Most of them are rapists, rape apologists, animals. Anybody supporting this man and questioning these protests, are all evil.
Supporting a rapist is corruption. Saying that people should not protest rape ia corruption. All of the times that people have protested alleged corrupt officers, why haven't you said they should find something better to do? When you say they should go and protest those in N/Assembly and Aso Rock, do you have proof that politicians are corrupt as well? Is their corruption not also alleged?
Every crime is alleged, but people ought to protest it, because without protests, there will be no investigations against the wealthyband influential There are no sacred cows, if a mechanic must be convicted of rape, so must a rich and influential Man of God. What is justice if its arms don't reach the high and mighty of the society? Fatoyinbo must be used as a scapegoat, whether you are a local school teacher or a rich, urban pastor, you must answer to your crimes
Nairaland is filled with sick people. Everyone must be held accountable for their crimes, it is those in positions of trust that rape those who trust them, the most. Rape is a betrayal of trust, not just an act of violence
Busola's confession has led many to confess their truths across thos nation. People are finding out tgeir kids and siblings have been molested in large numbers, it is exposing animals and allowing victims of all ages the chance to heal.
Busola Dakota has done a great thing and she will be rewarded heavily by God. the earlier you realized men are not your problem the better for you. mob mentality. |

Bacteriologist: Excuse me, did you just type this pile of horseshiït?? So only virgins have the 'right' to be raped? News flash: Promiscuity DOES NOT invalidate rape. Rape is sex that is not consensual. You seem ignorant and childish.
There I confirmed it. You're ignorant. For a 17 year old to be an undergraduate has nothing to do with the law. The law says kids under 18 are mentally, emotionally and psychologically incapable of giving CONSENT. So you analogy is flawed and wrong.
Hopefully, the judges are not as dumb as you are. sorry bro. I will not hang a man based on allegation |
