Happy Sunday everyone.
I have a sister that wrote Jamb this year and applied for medicine in UNICAL. So, can anyone in UNICAL give me tips on how she can ace her post utme once.

NATURE OF UNICAL POST UTME

UNICAL POST-UTME comprises of (40) questions.

15 from English Language,
5 from Current affairs,
5 from Mathematics
And 5 Questions from EACH of the (3) SUBJECTS candidates took in their JAMB......That is, a total of (40) questions from (6) subjects.

Medical candidates are to write the following subjects in UNICAL Post UTME

~ English Language
~ Mathematics
~ Physics
~ Chemistry
~ Biology
~ Current affairs
.

Please note that each UNICAL POST-UTME question carries (10 marks) and the time allocated to answer all 40 questions is (40 minutes), you have just "a minute" to answer each question.

WHAT ABOUT UNICAL POST-UTME RESULT?

Your result will come out latest, 2 days after you finish your exam while some times its released the next day (it all depends on some hidden factors)

To check your result, you will need to get a result checker PIN.

ADMISSION PROBABILITY=

POST-UTME SCORE + JAMB SCORE/2

The result of the above formula is called the Average score. Your average score is what will determine whether you merit the admission or not based on Medicine Departmental cut off mark.

What is the fate of student regarding to the suspended (increased) school fees? Any hope of total reversal?

I have a sister that scored 190 Post utme. She wanted to do nursing , but I guessed that score is too low. Can you suggest other science based courses, or health related courses (good one with job prospects )she can switch to ?

What is your view on Applied chemistry or Science laboratory someone proposed? Any other experienced person or current student can chip in his or her view.

To be sincere I have no idea, but I do believe once you secure your undergraduate admission before you graduate from radiography you would have met some senior colleagues and lecturers who would give you academic advice on where u can pursue your masters. The most important thing is to get into the system first

Bro with 240 and also falling under the ELDS category, trust me you do stand a high Chance of being admitted into radiography. Just set a target of 270-300 in the postutme and you're sure of getting admitted

Radiography is a fully accredited medical course in Unical. And it's OK

Also our present VC increased the fees from 42,000 to 64,000. Acceptance fee is still 25k
