TroubleMaker47:
Dumb government!
If you claim that the BDCs make so much profit from selling dollar, how come they don't regulate the BDC market the way they regulate PMS sales?
Any operator found wanting would lose his license and 35 million operating fee!
What's so difficult in implementing that?
Instead they chose to cut off the head because of a headache!
This is throughly a government of kakistocracy
PMS is regulated?

BeardedMeat:
Exactly. If it was opposition governor, the SC wouldn't have ruled the same.

On the other hand, Jegede could have joined Buni in the suit in his capacity as APC chairman, and forget his immunity.

But I'm not a lawyer though.
Guy, you are Spot on.

The Supreme court just extended APC an olive branch but made its position clear so that go home and put their house in order.

I won't deceive myself that Supreme court judges are celestial. They are humans like us with political leanings and affiliation.

Kudos to them though, they have made their position clear.

We are saying the same thing.supreme court never rule for us to be sure.again, the time to take the matter to court has elapsed so bury the issue
We are not saying the same thing..

See below:

1. Aketi: Concern is valid however he has the advantage of elapsed time. The election tribunal has already sat. He may be free. Jegede is hoping the suprem court will say not only tribunal can hear the issue.

2. Andy Uba: No election has taken place. No matter who the supreme court says is the right person to hear the case (tribunal, appeal or supreme) everyone is now aware of the issue and will jejely wait for him.

Hope it's clear?
Politics › Re: PDP To Adopt Another Party In Anambra In Order To Beat INEC Deadline by chloride6: 12:27pm On Jul 26, 2021
senatordave1:
You are funny.did anybody take Andy uba to court over the signing of his nomination form? Are you aware that jegede took aketi to court over that same matter and the high court and appeal ruled in favour of apc?
No sir...

The Appeal court has ruled that it although the application had merit it was a pre election matter and so it couldn't hear it.

Jegede has gone to the supreme court to challenge it.

Either way, the concern is valid, what is left to argue about is whether it is a pre-election issue or not.

Mai Buni cannot simulatenouly be Governor and chairman.
