PoliticsRe: Yoruba Christians, Yoruba Muslims. . . .what Is That? by chmod777: 4:36pm On Jan 21, 2012
NL and Igbophobia. This is getting out of hand. There are over 200 tribes in Nigeria but yet discussions on Igbo is always the headline. Igbos are really great I must say. I hail una.
But please can someone explain to me why all the candidates supported by the Yorubas (with all due respect to this great tribe) have lost in their elections since 1999.
I remember a man came on channels prior to the election and was shouting, Yorubas are very sophisticated and advanced in politics and they would vote out PDP. But they ended up either loosing to PDP or betraying their ACN candidate in person of Ribadu.

Watch Ngozi's answers !!!!!
Education and experience in western countries truly makes a difference. The most important thing I learnt at masters level here in Europe is how to say " I do not know" when anything is not strictly within my expertize even if it is within my profession or job specs. Also when I am not sure.
My professors always answered " I dont know" or ask the expert on that even during lectures.

So many Nigerians are educated illiterate. How could you ask some one to define the term A and he starts talking about C. I realized many people were asked about Boko Haram by the BBC reporter but they kept talking off point about fuel prize and strike, I wonder the image they present to the world about Nigerians being unable to understand simple questions, to bad

If you need a change, u must come out of ur comfort zone.  But human nature resist change
My observations is that since Nigerians do not value professionalism, and do not really streamline  in a given expertize, they do not trust "expertise"
Ngozi and Sanusi are true experts and should be given the trust to take us out of the mess. BUT those in government should also reduce their allowances and pay by over 40% to synchronize with the change.

Indeed the subsidy should be removed. IT IS obvious many protesters are naive.
They only think believe pump prize has been increased. Let us prevent future doom
PoliticsRe: Ethnic Clashes In Ebonyi, Another Slaughter! by chmod777: 9:32am On Jan 01, 2012
Please there has been pockets of similar clashes even in the north. But what the hail is the cause of this one in Ebonyi ?
Please house I have just been evaluating the Nigeria Leadership of today and I found out that from
President---GEJ, Vice , Senate President and Deputy, House Speaker and Deputy, Secretary  General of the Federation, Chief Justice of the Federation

Key Ministers:
Power, Finance,Economic planning, Petroleum, Aviation, Defense, UN Ambassador

Chief of Defense staff
EFCC

Business: SEC, Electricity Regulatory Commission, Stock Exchange
JUST TO MENTION A FEW, there are no Yoruba

My observation since 1999 is that if it was the Igbos that are left out totally, the YORUBAS will be shouting on the press that these guys are loosers, politically inferior, only likes money and allow them selves to be used.
But no one has cared to write about their non existence or their total insignificance in the schemen of this of todays Nigeria political circle.

I hope I am not the only one that has observed this.

PoliticsRe: States Begin Power Distribution In January - NERC by chmod777: 12:05pm On Dec 06, 2011
sweet_gala:
While this might sound like a great development, it is a single act that could contribute to division and major gaps in the lives of individuals living in different states and over population of major cities and states.

It should be the federal governments job to make sure all citizens in all parts of the country have access to basic amenities with appropriate distribution centres at regional and state level and down the channel etc. With this new development an allocation would have to be made in the budget and this is in contrasts to the policy of synergy which all countries are pursuing . Some states are more developed than others and have access to the resources that allow for efficient power generation and thus would develope faster robbing the poorer states off the industry causing overpopulation , super states would be created pilling a larger budden on the state, more people have to be managed , more roads need be built, we don't even have a sewage system (disease outbreaks would be potentially major) .

A central power generation and distribution authority should  be managed with respect for other aspects of society, but oga Jonah is so weak he can't hold the centre , his election to office is the single act that would cause the distraction of Nigeria with all the political calamities and social disturbance that have and will the place in the country *without adequate prompt and correct action* the man is daft, slow, easily corruptible, weak, indecisive, easily influenced.
My Oga , it is the likes of you that have left Nigeria underdeveloped where you want the backsliders to pull back the pace setters becoz the Fed gov must keep fed. character, provision of facilities etc  bla bla,
Please do make research and you find out that in countries where things work. It is the local government that really caters for those sort of needs. If a local govt or state cannot fend for the needs of its people, then the poeple should suffer it and be smiling or fight.
If  an LGA or state can provide all for its people then they should. Please do not drag us back
PoliticsRe: What Ojukwu Told Me Before, During And After The War —sam Aluko by chmod777: 12:18pm On Dec 03, 2011
Interesting truth has been told by a seemingly neutral man.
Can we ll review this part:

Who suggested Aburi?
I suggested Aburi to Ojukwu. He was first thinking of East Africa, like Tanzania. I said it was too far. I told him that if he was away Gowon was away in this turbulent time, they could plan coup against Gowon in Nigeria and plan coup against him in Biafra. I told him he should go to a place where he can go in the morning and come back in the evening. That was how we settled for Aburi. He also thought of Liberia. But I said Liberia was a bit far. At the Aburi meeting, you know Ojukwu is highly educated; so he prepared very well. Gowon went there with the hope that he was going to discuss with an old friend soldier and agree, like the Yoruba way of settling disputes, that, nobody is guilty, let us go on as we are doing.

He did not go with the Awolowos and Permanent Secretaries?
No. He went with a few people. And so, Ojukwu outwitted them there and got all he wanted as a confederal system.

Stop demeaning Windows. If you are a programmer you should leave that issue out of it. Most would write packages for Windows than Linux based systems if that where you are headed. Tweaking is not the relevance of Linux which Windows can as well do with many packages which are compatible with it are abundantly available.

If personally, find if humorous when people jump into conclusion to say Windows is not as relevant as Linux. The reason why Linux based systems are more in use in the server side of things is that it is cheap and commands are readily issued to achieve some tasks. Whereas these are done in Windows with third party packages or packages created by Microsoft, which cost extra money.
I am sorry u are naive. u only see within what ur world covers. have u been in any R&grin in EU or the US, how relevant is Windows in those areas.

my dear, your world-Nigeria may not have the relevance for linux. In the world where I live, from university to research institutes, to start-up companies, to big technology companies who develop, or implement or design systems, Linux is the answer.
You hardly find windows.
The truth is that if you want o understand technology u are using or developing, then forget windows. It mighty sound like an add but I give u an instance,
Did you know that the TCP/IP which allows u communicate on internet is a protocol (program) which u can tweak to get a different feel, which u can edit its mode of operation . Perhaps this sounds strange.

Please visit the Scandinavia, , home of Nokia, Ericsson, Skype, Volvo, Scania, Tandberg, etc etc etc AND MOST IMPORTANTLY the home of LINUX TORVALD, the founder of Linux. I will welcome u to my home , think about it

@Negro_Ntns and his likes, it seems you do not understand letters. Have u read channels TV , the sun and the punch write up on Ojukwu. the information said that Ojukwu felt the military hierarchy should be maintained by giving Ogundipe the power and as a result HE did not recognize the legitimacy of Gowon. Ojukwu said that the three years  of the war were just what he called Gowon trying to legitimize his coup.
Now questions for you:
If he did not recognize Gowon, how did he take orders from Gowon to act on Awo's release huh
Why did the man Ogundipe who was a rightful senior officer not stand to maintain discipline and hierarchy in the military.

Some of us are brainless and wicked that they always try to hide the truth.

Christianity EtcRe: Will I Be Making A Mistake By Becoming A Jehovah's Witness? by chmod777: 3:28pm On Nov 08, 2011
I HAVE THE FINAL ANSWER TO WHO JESUS IS
- Christianity means following ALL Christ's words, !!!!!!!!!!! then who did HE say he is huhhuhhuhhuh??

-Taken note of this confusion that people DID NOT know who he was including the 12 apostles, JESUS asked who DO YOU think I am, and Peter answered , complete yourself

then ask if Jesus accepted his answer as correct or NOT, I believe  that must be the right answer to WHOM JESUS was,IS and WILL EVER REMAIN.

Thanks

Hello my people, every Christian denomination was founded by someone. From Emperor Constantine, Luther, Oyedepo etc etc. Jesus  is the church and speaks to you through the bible. Now  the is  problem, listen
-when information is transmitted from one form to other it gets corrupted at different stages
this has given rise to several interpretations of the bible (and consequently doctrines)

Now which one is the right and sound doctrine huhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuhhuh/

Answer:
Since you can read , first study the bible on ur own, study with someone, say thru  pastor/priest/preacher's teaching, then let ur mind loose and ask God to interpret for u. Emancipate urself from mindset aka doctrine to avoid obscuring your interpretations, then YOU SHOULD ANSWER by urself which places to worship.

Note: at several instances of worshiping in this final destination, there must be so many interpretations YOU would beg to differ. our relationship with God is one-on-one. That means u can chose to turn down on some beliefs even in ur own congregation as ur mind leads u.
God will surely guide u if deeply u want to seek HIM.

Small Sudan has been recognized by foolish UN.
Selfish British supported Nigeria  from 1966-1970
Myopic Yoruba wanted to be Nigerians for ever
Ignorant Benue Plateuea felt glad to use British supported hardware to support Housa Fulani to commit genocide
Naive Ijaw man felt comfortable being a slave to Hausa/Fullani/Yoruba.

My verdict
I support Boko haram since they are now hating their British master/sponsors----Good for the western countries. Abdmutalab wanted to blow up US flight. More terorist should spring up against the Western world, from northern Nigeria----it is now they are seeing well

Fulani/Hausa has killed many Plateau--YES they are brothers

Plenty Yorubas died under Abacha and today they  complain Nigeria is not working-----No they should enjoy it 4ever. A man said why not we have a peaceful separation at Aburi, what did Yorubas do huh?

The oil from Ijaw has been used against them, they prefer Nigeria undecided undecided undecided

ChinenyeN:
The bearing of "Igbo" names is exclusive to the Northern/Central cultural axis and groups originating from that axis. Southern groups do not bear "Igbo" in their names.

Isuikwuato people. They belong to the central cultural axis.

Obigbo (Oyigbo) - A 20th century establishment by people from the North/Central cultural axis.
Please Chinenye, and other Igbo people in this house , I am curious to know
1. The meaning of Chinenye
2. What language do Etche,Oyigbo, Ikwere people speak

3. Is Ikwere the name of a community or a tribe. I am sure there is no community in Nigeria called Housa, Yoruba, Ijaw, Igbo Idoma, but I want to clearly understand that of Ikwere

Be sincere and objective with sound analytical and sincere mind cos I am taken it somewhere.

I never wanted to reply to this post until I started getting more irritated by some posts. In as much as we all see things from different perspectives but perhaps it is only in Africa that people would say

- all the things listed by kaz4sure without asking how much should the president and does the president earn (Gadafi and co) huh,-how do we account for our government, how do we invest in our people so that we could stand tall, does the president own the country and WHO owns the country and its wealth.

- It is only in Africa people would say, yeah Rochas, Fasola, Osiomole etc are working. For christ sake what do you mean by working. What were they elected to do ? Who owns the money ? Does a man shout to the world yeah I have slept with my wife huhhuh?? Does it not make us stupid and make the servants (leaders) feel like gods huhhuh?/

I am afraid, our mental dispositions may not give rise to any meaningful change in the next say 400 years.
Poor Africa, Poor Nigeria, it is a pity

abhosts:
Luke 22:44-- And being in agony He was praying very FERVENTLY; and His sweat became like drops of blood, falling down upon the ground.
My brother what is fervent, see: http://www.thefreedictionary.com/fervent
It says intensely passionate,
Archaic or poetic boiling, burning. It never said going mad. What does it mean to feel moved, this should explain fervent.
The problem in the world is the :
we all look but we see differently, we all listen but we hear differently. These tend to give birth to multiplicity of meanings most times to soot our interest and ego. The fact remains that there is an absolute truth.
He was asked " master how can we pray" and he answered : when you pray say , > >

If you are christ-like that means pray like christ did. When you add yours there is an obvious deviation. I wish people could reason well about our Lords prayers. It sets a simple, humble and yet complete and comprehensive guideline.
Remember Christ also said "do not be like the pharisees who think that by repeating themselves loud enough, then the would be heard by God." Some portions might contradict this in letters but what example did Jesus set. Follow it if you are chrsit-like (Christian)
