Go to SERVICOM so they can change it for you and you'll add more money to complete it

For those people asking about passports in Lagos, My cousin got mine hers in a month from Dec 2020 to Jan 2021.

Apply online, make payments (₦30,000) and then go to immigration office ( she used alausa) with all requested docs ( NiMC slip is a must). You might have to spend just an hour to get attended to and have a file created. Next is capturing which is within a week.

The big gap is in collecting the booklet. That's where original date that fell within 2 weeks was extended by another 2 at which point she picked up passport. All the days she was there she didn't spend up to 2 hours for either stage.

What it looked like to me whenever she was there is that people are apprehensive of online registration, believing they need someone on ground to process for them. By her experience the online registered ppl are a tiny fraction in there. she had no hold up at any point because I didn't know an officer on ground

See what you'll do. Go to that ceac website ceac.state.gov , chose your location and as soon as you do that, you'll something like "test photo" , then click on it and follow the instruction. Do that let's see what the response will be. If it says photo background not okay, edit the photo and increase the brightness a little bit.

Or let me ask, did you scan and crop the image yourself?

Some factors could be the reason behind this error message. I suggest you make use of the photo tool.

Sorry I was not the one who filled that, what actually happened is that the school calculated the balance in the SOA and then they put the amount there assuming my SOA was $30,000 that's the same amount they will still put there. To avoid unnecessary explanations during the visa interview I just feel I am going to tell the school to change the amount to the one I am suppose to send for 1 year, I think that is going to help a lot.

At the bolded: The school cannot just work with the amount on SOA without having your consent.
The person that filled the form for you was the one that stated the whole amount on your Certification of finance form, so stop saying your school

Please can we all contribute to this please I think someone had something similar to this last two years on this thread , I received my i-20 for the fall semester yesterday and this was what I was seeing in the i-20, at the left hand side tuition fees and living expenses altogether is $22,300 , at the right hand side of the i-20 students funding for 9 months, personal funds $0 , funds coming from the school $0, Father $55,000 because father was used as the sponsor. This actually means that the school calculated the SOA of my father and then put $55,000 there, please aren't you seeing this as a problem and that this might confuse the VO, since the amount in both sides are different? Please anyone with similar experience or that have idea of what I am talking about can contribute. Oga @fairheart and Co please what is your take on this. You're the one who made it to be so.
The normal fee is $22,300 and what you filled on your Certification of finance is what the school is using now.
Check very well.

You filled something like, "How much will your sponsor provide annually"? - that's what you're seeing there.

No school will automatically fill in what you have on your bank statement without your consent.

You shouldn't worry yourself as long as you have that 55k+ statement of account during your interview.
It shouldn't be anything less than that.
