ayofag: Hi guys. I need your assistance with this. How can a student with an F1 visa resume about 3 months to the start of his program because his supervisor wants him to participate in a training exercise just as an opportunity before his program start date. Meanwhile, the rule states that a student can only travel 30 days to the beginning of his program. Thank you It's the rule and you need to tell the Supervisor. Infact, send him the link so he could read it up. Probably, he doesn't know it's a rule. Abeg, no go anywhere o until it's 30 days to school start date and you must make an arrangement on accomodation before traveling. |

kinkymax: Hello house, I just got an admission to university of Alabama spring 2021 starting Jan 19. They are just preparing my i-20 and wt the look of tns is going to take like 5 days. Now the question : is it still feasible to book a visa interview and get an appointment before Jan 19.. Can I do all these processes in jst a month. The school has a summer session starting in May so I am thinking of deferring til then so I wil have enough time to do all the processes. Pls I need advice.thanks You can't book an appointment without the SEVIS num, so wait for it. You can book and get a date tomorrow or anytime, depending on what you see on CGI website. You can even get a date this Month or probably Jan first week. |

Inzaghi04: Visa Interview transcript: Mine is quite different from the typical transcripts. Let me say it exactly as it was Interview date: 11th December 2020. 8 am. I left my hotel room probably by 7 a.m and trekked to the US consular office in Lagos. It was just a 5mins walk. I did that to calm my self. I was probably the 15th person interviewed today(Not sure but people had already queued up inside).
VO: Good for you. (keeps typing). Okay, I am going to be approving your Visa. (Then the rest was history). (Gives me white paper). Have a pleasant trip and merry Christmas.
Me: Thank you (I walked gracefully. It can only be God).
If your emergency appointment was approved. Please keep checking. You might see a date. GRACE FOUND YOU. Congrats. |

Nairaist: Scholars.
Can same MRV fee used to schedule Lagos appointment be used to reschedule to Abuja?
I stay in Lagos and definitely Lagos is better for me. At the moment, I haven't picked any date. I have a support letter from my research team in US. So I am thinking if I can pick a lagos date and see the reply I get before considering Abuja. I don't have much money to even pay MRV twice.
Please advise. Spring or Fall? |

How smooth will the visa processing be for me in this category? For Masters? WAEC? |
