Yes, it is safe for now - they accept it. If you still want it sent via shipping, that's still okay. Some schools will give you the option of having it via email or having it via shipping. Though, some schools will ask that you pay the shipping fee if you want it via that way.

If they can send it via email, use the SEVIS num on it and book a date while you wait for the shipped one(if that's what you want).

The earliest date is November

Those going for Fall 2021 semester are not affected.

Contact your graduate school coordinator and defer your admission to Fall 2021 then quickly go and book your interview for November, because if care is not taken, November will be filled up too.

I have no info about SE region with respect to booklet distribution, but i think you should book now because the booklets are available but has not been distributed yet. It just arrived

If you applied for a 32 page or any other booklet at Ibadan passport office and you've not collected yours, go back to their office as from Thursday next week. They've started processing it. Pls this is strictly for those that applied since last year. If yours is still current, you may wait a little but not for so long.

Lagos will receive theirs by Monday and it'll be distributed to other regions.

Most of those picking up their passport at Alausa Office applied for 64pages 5Years passport. I took my time to observe that when i went there with my wife for her capturing. If you applied for 32pages passport, you might need to wait for a little while.

Correct. When i talked about it here, someone refuted it.
Currently, there are no 32Pages booklet.

It's possible. All you need to do is send NIMC an email, or go to their twitter or instagram page and lay your complaint. The dropping of a thing is done at their headquarters. They link it up to the immigration portal.
Other NIMC offices can only help you confirm the status.

I don't have any issues with name arrangement.

Yesterday, I actually submitted my collection slip to the officers that came to make anouncement with microphone. They came back few minutes after and called a long list of names of those whose passports are ready. I didn't hear my name. So I waited. Then they brought out some collection slips...and that's for those whose passports are not ready.

I'll just have to go there but maybe not as early as usual....so that I can walk straight to the collection office as you have said. Thanks.

Did you confirm the number of passport pages those other persons collected?

At the Bolded, you statement is not clear at all. ABCDE and ABCDF is a different thing entirely.

I filled Lagos US embassy in my DS -160 but when looking for interview appointment, I only got Abuja consulate as there is no available date in Lagos so I picked Abuja. The interview is tomorrow Tuesday this week. Hope there won't be any issue raised by the consular officer on why I have Lagos on my DS-160 but come for interview in Abuja?

You gave your reason for choosing Abj already, so stick to that. You have nothing to worry about.

"Do it Yourself". It's an online platform where you get to apply for your passport and make your payment.
DIY is also cheaper compared to the physical transaction between you and an officer. It also saves you the cost of "dashing" officers money via "express route".

Got to the gate and when I was asked what I came for, I confidently told him I was going to meet Mr Adamu servicecom, he let me in sharply�

Please I need a bit of quick advice. My current passport will expire June next year, and I need to schedule an interview at the embassy asap for Fall 2021 resumption. Will my current passport validity suffice or should I go ahead and apply for renewal before I start my visa application process.

If it's next year 2022, you have no problem. You can't even renew now if you decide to because the validity period is still more than 6 months. Your passport is still very valid, so go ahead and make use of it.
