MESSAGE: 'What is intercession? It is to stand in the gap for someone or other people. It is a mark of selflessness whereby one considers the interests or plights of others to make intercessory prayers for them. When a man commits sin, the judgment is that of death and hell fire- However, whosoever is in a position to pray for him - to stand in the gap for him to change but never cares. Rather, he concentrates on praying for himself, business and family alone. God will require the blood of that sinful person from such a selfish believer.
That is why it is important that you pray for others and not just yourself, family and business alone. If they continue in sin because you refuse to pray, God will surely pour out His indignation upon them; but you will not receive a warm handshake for that negligence. Have you been praying for others too? If your answer is no, you must have a rethink today and begin to intercede for others.

Message:
Giving is ordained by God and He gave us an example of giving by giving us His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. So, if you give it shall be given to you. Many people have given and they have reaped bountifully. On the other hand, those that do not give cannot reap anything. Whoever does not sow seeds in the ground does not go to harvest during the period of harvest. Therefore, if you want to receive or reap as the case may be, you must first give. It is a natural law which even unbelievers have practiced and exploited the advantages.

So, what is that you have given - your time, money, energy and substances? Or are you still playing gamble by pledging and not redeeming. Some people pledge though they have no money. Their mindset is that if they pledge ten thousand naira for example, God will give them like one hundred thousand and then they will go ahead and give the ten thousand they pledged and that way, make a profit of ninety thousand naira. God does not work that way. You must give without a conscious expectation of return and God who sees in secret will reward you abundantly.

MESSAGE:
Many of us at the beginning of this ministry were very zealous for the work and things of God, hated evil, never tolerated wicked people; gave concrete criticisms of people who were hypocritical, endured difficult situations, came early to church, gave offerings and paid tithes. However today, they cut a forlorn picture of what they were a decade ago. They hardly come to church early; they give many excuses ranging from business to family, they see wickedness going on around them and they turn their eyes the other way.

Are you like that? The Lord is telling you to take a look at the height which you had attained before falling and then repent so that all your efforts will not be in vain. Of course, grave danger awaits all those that fail to repent.

David smote his enemies as the Lord gave him breakthrough against them. In addition, he pursued them and seized their idols and burned them. Yet the persistent enemy did not rest. They encamped again at the valley of Rephaim and at the instance of the Lord David pursued them and smote them from Geba to Gazer.

Who are the enemies that have encompassed round about you? The assurance today is that God can still give them into your hands and cause you to smite them. Enquire of the Lord today through prayer and pursue them and God will give them into your hands.

The time of jubilee is the period of freedom from unpleasant situations that are trying to stand against man. I do not know the enemy that is setting hurdles for you to stumble and fall. You must jump over it by prayer. In the same way, you must ensure that you do not become a victim in the hands of your enemies. The only way to keep them in check is to make sure that you return whatever attacks they launch against you back to sender. The idea is to ensure that he reaps full reward for his evils. If he feels that evil is good, let him taste it to know how 'good' it feels.

That a person does not work at all, but is idling away is unthinkable. It is something that should not be heard of Christian believers. It will make them to be dependent on others and constitute nuisance. It is a lazy attitude not to work or to believe that you should not work. Do you belong to the group of those that visit others who are working just to chatter with them? And in the process, you tell them what one person or the other has done?

You must change that vocation today. So, you must engage yourself in doing something no matter how small it might be. God can use it to establish you. The success of any business does not depend on the amount of money used in starting it off. Just get your hands on something noble and be able to take care of your own needs rather than being busybody and meddling into matters that hardly concern you.

MESSAGE:
Seeing the glory of God is a spiritual elevation which requires being filled with the holy ghost before it is attainable. If you are to make any impact whether spiritually or physically in this month, you need to be full of the Holy Ghost. Of course, being full of the Holy Ghost will make your eyes open to deep spiritual matters such as seeing Jesus Christ standing on the right hand of God. In the case of Stephen, he saw the heaven open and Jesus Christ standing at the right hand of God.

You too can also see the heaven open as well as the the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God. What are those spiritual matters that have become like a puzzle to you? Remember, you need the Holy Ghost to be able to decode them. The Holy Ghost will empower you. A carnal man cannot be in a spiritual project. Serving God is a spiritual thing which only those that are spiritual must undertake.

MESSAGE:
Is your name in the Lamb's book of life? This question calls for a sober reflection of your Christian life so far. In as much as you have claimed to be serving God in spirit and in truth or have served Him over the years, can you confidently beat your chest that you have made the mark?

Remember the scripture says that the gate is narrow and the road strait. This is in view of the high standard of holiness, righteousness and selflessness required. Jesus Christ sacrificed His life for others. What have you sacrificed for others? Check your life today for nothing defiled shall enter therein.

Having abstained from adultery and fornication, what about keeping malice, bearing grudges, complaining and murmuring? Have you forgiven others? Have you helped the needy? What about the area of dressing? Have you purged your heart from lusts? Are you boastful and proud; haughty and arrogant? There are a whole lot of issues to be considered. Think about it.

MESSAGE:
Some people take delight in going up and down telling stories that they know little or nothing about. They discuss people and never discuss issues. All such practices increase ungodliness. Talking stories you hardly know about a person can offer a negative impression of that person in the eyes of others. They can go ahead to wrongly hate or detests him. They can even seek to kill him.

So, you must have the mind of God and refrain from all such acts that could hurt others. Do not say those things that you do not see or know anything about. They can be dangerous and retrogressive.

One of the pre-requisites for deliverance is forgiveness. This is often neglected. No wonder, people go for deliverance prayers with hatred and malice in their hearts and yet shouting, “Holy Ghost Fire.” The issue of unforgiveness is something that had bothered Peter quite a lot prompting him to ask the required number of times that a person could be offended before he can decide to lay it to heart. Jesus answered and said,” seventy times seven”.

Seventy times seven is equal to four hundred and ninety times. Is it possible for a single person to offend another for four hundred and ninety times? The answer is NO. Impliedly, no amount of offence must generate unforgiveness. I do not know who has offended you so many times and for that reason you have not forgiven him, but yet you are seeking for deliverance. If indeed you inneed want deliverance, you must heed to Jesus’ instruction and forgive.

MESSAGE:
The dictionary defines leviathan as something very large and strong; a very large and frightening sea animal. The leviathan spiritually represents that big snake - crooked serpent. Crookedness in the way in which it is used suggests that it is cunning and mischievous. Therefore, it is usually up to some kind of evil. Spiritually, snakes are assigned from kingdoms to swallow the blessings of people and leviathan with its size suits such assignments as swallowing people's blessings. God has therefore declared that He would slay the leviathan which also doubles as the dragon in the sea.

Sometimes, marine spirit demons disguise as big pythons, leviathan, vipers and cobras to swallow people's blessings. I am not sure exactly the one that has been assigned to your blessing and even your destiny. However, the assurance is that God will destroy it.

As long as God has not cursed you, you remain blessed. One can only have a problem if God curses you. In that case, no one can release you. Balak asked "How shall I curse whom God has not cursed?" MESSAGE:
A sister was sleeping in her house and suddenly saw a big scorpion and her husband helped her to kill it. The question is this: where did the scorpion come from? They live in a house and not a desert, but then scorpion found its way into their bed. This can be a form of spiritual manipulation.

Ezekiel saw the ancients of Israel doing abominable things. Today, many abominable practices are going on in the dark even in some so-called churches. Evil can be going on around you without you knowing. Witchcraft meetings go on every night in covens and in these covens they take far-reaching decisions against people's destinies. You need God to open your eyes so that you will be conscious of secret things not just happening around you, but also happening against you.

The Amalekites were perennial enemies of the people of Israel; fighting against them from time to time. The Israelites were the people of God. Whoever fights against them is assumed to be fighting against their God. And God had sworn to fight against them from generation to generation.

Any problem, man or woman fighting against you is an Amalekite and God will fight against them from generation to generation. Like Moses discomfited the Amalekites, God will give you the grace and power to discomfit all your enemies, in Jesus' name.

MESSAGE:
One of the things that militated against the children of Israelites during the time of Gideon was idol worship. This ensured that their enemies especially the Midianites lorded it over them. Even their children who did not know the genesis of the problem were badly affected and they asked, "Where are the miracles that our fathers told us about?" Like Gideon, are you asking the same question today? You must be free from idolatry. Idolatry does not stop at owning shrines. Whatever evil habit you cannot do away with has become an idol to you.

The angel told Gideon to throw down his father's altar. So, you must throw down not just your father's altar, but all those evil habits that constitute altar in your life. This time around, there are no bullocks required. The blood of Jesus Christ is all that is required. So, throw down the altar by renouncing the evil habits and confessing your sins before God and then raise a fresh altar (Accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour).

As believers in Christ, out of our bellies shall flow rivers of living waters. This implies that as a believer in Christ, you must manifest those spiritual qualities that make you a joint heir with Christ. They include the manifestation of the virtues of the fruits of the spirit. Is the situation like that with you? This is in view of the fact that out of the belly of many flow lust, anger, malice, envy, covetousness. wickedness of every kind and all sorts of carnal desires. So, you must be sure which flows out of you.

Well, those who desire that the rivers of living water flow through them must desire the spiritual diet that enables it. You must be spiritual. Aspire to live holy and righteous. You must acknowledge that on your own, you can do nothing. God is your source and you must depend on Him.

One commendable decision that Saul took as the king of Israel was to outlaw the operation of witches and wizards and those with familiar spirits though he later went back to consult them secretly. However, we want to take only the positive aspect of what he accomplished.

Those with all the above mentioned means should not be allowed to thrive if the people of God are to experience His great power. All such contrary powers and those who operate them are abominable. You might be their next target for no just cause. So, you do not wait for them to attack you before you attack them. So, you owe it a duty to outlaw them and stop their operation in your neighbourhood, compound, business, marriage, career and so on. I do not know which of their programs is flourishing in your life or the area of your life where they are sitting pretty and you are groaning in pains. Now is the time to stop them or they will stop you.

MESSAGE:
Wicked people usually visit places of power to seek for ways of working against those they perceive as enemies. They can visit places that operate with familiar spirits including some so-called churches. They can go to other places that operate with marine spirits or witchcraft powers for the same purpose. In those places, they submit the names and photographs of their targets and employ the use of padlocks, mirror, brooms, spiritual oil, incense and the rest of them. The whole idea revolves around using these materials to harm people who have done them no evil.

We cannot say for certain where they have submitted your names or photographs or slippers, shoes, pants, singlet and shirts to. But one thing is still certain: That the Lord can visit those places in His indignation - if you can pray.

MEMORY VERSE: "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away." (Isaiah 64:6)

MESSAGE:
The race for heaven is not something that should be treated with kid gloves. What we consider as righteousness can actually be likened to a filthy rag in the sight of God. What do we do then? You must be like the trader that takes stock week in week out. You must make a proper assessment of your life to enable you to make the necessary amendments.

There are times when we feel we have done it right without knowing that we have not met up with heaven's expectations. If we do not take regular stock we might reach the conclusion that we have made heaven only for the devil to ask, "So, you later came here" on that day. There is therefore the need for genuine repentance if possible on daily basis to ensure that we leave no room for complacency. That does not in any way suggest that you should sin everyday and repent every day.

This period in the history of this nation and the world in general is unarguably that of unprecedented evil and wickedness. We find ourselves in the days when everyone goes out, but not everyone returns home. We are in a society where seeing headless and badly mutilated and decomposed bodies mean little or nothing. We are in a society where robbery - whether pen or armed, is gradually becoming acceptable vocations; where bribery is never frowned at; a society replete with cultist activities.

Nevertheless, the chosen people of God remain adequately protected. God has made adequate provision for the needs of His people, For this purpose, the bible says that God anointed Jesus Christ of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power which confers upon Him the capability to go about doing good. Today, as long as you are a chosen of God be rest assured that His mercies remain non-negotiable in your life.

One of the greatest undoing of the children of Israelites was their inability to acknowledge God's magnanimity as they journeyed through the Wilderness. God protected them, fought for them, defended them and gave them victory on every front. Yet, they never ceased to complain. This of course, provoked God and all the people that were eighteen years and above who left Egypt could not enter the Promised Land. All of them died in the wilderness.

So, God does not take it lightly when we fail to acknowledge His goodness and mercy upon us. And now, having brought you safely from the beginning of this new year to another new month, He is worthy of praise and adoration, You must never make the mistakes the children of Israel made. Remember, the consequences are unquantifiable.

MEMORY VERSE: "When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee." (Isaiah 43:2).

MESSAGE:
Some people tend to complain when they pass through unpleasant moments not knowing that they are designed to make them better Christians. During such periods, some go into murmuring and complaining while others ask God questions.

However, from the above bible scripture, it is obvious that a time will come when you will pass through waters, through the rivers and through fire. The truth is that in moments like that, the Lord shall be with thee. The rivers shall not overflow you neither shall the fire burn you.

So, what is water, rivers or fire that you are passing through in in this life today? They could be those unexpected unpleasant situations and circumstances. As a true believer in Christ, you must not despair about them. The Lord will be with you. The rivers shall not overflow you and the fire shall not burn you.
