I am PDP to the core but I try to be objective as possible. What you said about a governor commissioning his predecessor's projects does not make sense. Is he supposed to abandon them out of spite? Governance is a continuum so since he is now the governor it is his duty whether he likes it or not to give priority to and complete the projects of the last administration that are already on ground, especially if such project will benefit the masses, as well as starting new ones. Politics of bitterness that you are trying to promote must end if we are to move forward in this country or else it is the masses that will suffer for it not the political elite.

The question is, should Sanwo-Olu even waste resources on any commissioning jamboree?

First, he inherited those Ojokoro LCDA roads from former Gov Ambode at various stages
of completion - 90%, 95% or 100% but failed to give him credit during commissioning.

Second, those so-called "31 roads" are at best local government projects.
Confirm from anyone residing around Ojokoro LCDA (Ahmadiyya, Ijaiye, Amje, Abulegba, Alakuko, Kola, Agbado, U-turn etc)

Majority of the so-called roads (streets) are not up to 1km in length, just asphalt no adequate stone base.
Is that what a whole Lagos governor with over a trillion Naira budget should be celebrating?

Minister of Finance, Mrs Zainab Ahmed, says the Federal Government has secured a $3bn loan from the World Bank.

According to the Finance Minister, the loan is to be used for reforming the nation’s power sector.

Mrs Ahmed announced the approval of the loan at a news conference to wrap up the World Bank/IMF annual meetings in Washington DC on Sunday.

She explained that the loan is expected to improve power supply in the country.

The Minister said the loan would be disbursed in four tranches of $750m each beginning from April 2020.

The loan, according to her, would cover the funding gap as well as the current tariff which investors in the sector had described as very low compared to what is obtainable in other countries.

Her words, “We put a request for financing of the power sector at a range of 1.5 billion dollars to four billion dollars.

“At the end of the day, it looks like we will be looking at a funding size of three billion U.S. dollars that will be provided in four tranches of 750 million dollars each.

“Our plan is that the team will be able to go to the World Bank for the approval of the first tranche in April, 2020,’’ she said.

14. The Governor who made business very robust for casket sellers. Evident in the recent donation of N1Mn and endorsement
15. The governor who built 350 schools without location and address.
