Donian007: These SAns are always the first to throw stones forgeting how bad and sorry their own country smells. I too have a lot of info about their rot-sides but I just decided not to post because it's of no use. Each time I see @Gingerbeer, @Kwame and likeminds' posts I just smile and scrolldown. SMHyou right bruv. i should have done the same as i've been doing before. wetin una dey talk bout this UN mandate in Mali. am beginning to see that as another UN failure in the making if the militants decide to attack. |
Henry120: Why don't one of us create a strictly african militaries, photos, videos and discussions thread. Start again on a clean slate.shey una no vex for me sha.. I was overly pissed even though i realised the thread has been damaged by some juveniles. But i'll stop. Oga henry. i want to ask what the mandate of the new UN peacekeeping force will be in Mali? Cos Mali still needs enforcement since the islamist are waiting for France to pull out before they can relaunch their attacks. These guys are not as civil as M23 that can be resolved in a political dimension. |
zetdee: You should listen to our talk radio stations online, 702 or SAfm, all that is ever spoken about are problems facing our country; crime, corruption, education, health etc everybody is aware of the problems, solving them is the government's top priority, saying we better of than Nigeria is not saying we perfect.and saying our problems are not far from yours doesn't mean we're perfect. You don't have brains at all |
AwodwaGyanOniwe: @Chris365i suspect you to be one lying poster that was ignored here (kwame). I guess your crave for attention has pushed you to change your name. You are a liar and a deceitful dumbass for trying to hide that like Nigeria, south africa also has a very large number of slum dweller and extremely poor people even with all the developments and riches you have. Let me enlighten you and those you said are reading about the beautiful slums and poverty in south africa from a more recent and a and none biased observer:- ''The rich still get richer and the poor get poorer; 0.1% of the world population hold 81% of the wealth and the ratio of poverty to wealthy statistic went from 3:1 in 1820 to 35:1 in 1950 to nearly 80:1 today''. ''Many of those we met commented on how some members of ANC who came into government jobs at the end ofApartheid got spoiled by the material goods (houses, cars, bank account) that they forgot about the struggling people in the townships and the slums near the glittering skyscrapers. The tallest building in Johannesburg is the Reserve Bank! My tears rolled as we passed by townships that are teaming with poor people because they reminded me of refugee camps in Lebanon, in Jordan, and in Palestine. The most heart-wrenching was Diepsloot where 250,000 human beings live in shacks with sheat metal roofing. Here we visited “Vuselela Ulwazi Lwakho Drop-in Center” (vusel ela-ulwazi.org, founded by one woman nurse) where hundreds come weekly for counseling and treatment for AIDS (now a horrific pandemic in Africa). I peaked into a hall and noticed nearly 100 children crammedtogether – they are the AIDS orphans who lost their parents to the disease (and a few other orhans). I contrast these images of man-made poverty and disease with the poshgated communities of upwardly mobile mostly white South Africans. It is like contrasting the posh life of the colonial Jewish setters in Palestine with the life in refugee camps" www.popular-resistance..com/2013/03/rethinking-south-africa.html and this was a visit to one side of your country. so next time please tone the lies cos not everyone is as S.TUPID as you. Wether you're kwame or not, you both share the same deluded mentality, am not gonna respond to you again so stop mentioning my name please. |
zetdee: 95% Of Nigerian Police Officers Failat least we are courageous enough to accept it and according to the report, we have started correcting the trend. so what's your point? compared to this: The loss of discipline in, and decline of, the country’s defence force, the atrocities of its police, and the failure of mining to grow and share its benefits fairly have one common cause: a failure of governance in the presence of plentiful natural resources. South Africa is suffering from a particularly vicious twist of the “natural resource curse”: a double whammy of (i) a Dutch-disease effect, whereby manufacturing becomes increasingly uncompetitive (figure 1) while the economy becomes less innovative (figure 2), combined with (ii) patronage, rent-seeking and corruption within the state for access to the fruits of the mining sector, including threats of the nationalization of mines. http://unu.edu/publications/articles/governance-failure-in-south-africa.html no matter how many bad things you say about Nigeria, Africans and the world know that south africa is as rotten as the countries they criticize. am done with this childish play. you may carry on if you like. |
saengine: What an embarrassing shamble of a thread.i guess you're right. my apologies everyone |
Thiza: ON AIDS IN NIGERIA...READ AND BE SCARY:population. South Africa is reported to have the largest population living with the disease in the world, at well over 5 million people infected. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_HIV/AIDS_adult_prevalence_rate ignorant buffoon ![]() |
AwodwaGyanOniwe: @Chrisaren't they sexy? am not ashamed cos even the most civilized countries in the world have high numbers of prostitutes. we even have white prostitutes in Nigeria dummy.. even your innocent south africa has one of the highest number of child prostitutes, and they can't migrate to other countries cause no one wants to fvck AIDS RIDDEN south african girls. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xjZDkLkwbY |
Thiza: YOU TALK AS IF NIGERIAN SECURITY FORCES ARE IMMUNE ATLEAST FOR THE MINERS THERE IS CURRENTLY A COMMISSION OF ENQUIRY: you must be desperate o ![]() so how's south africa free from religious, racial, political strife in SA South Africa, everyone agrees, is a profoundly unequal society. It is marked by inequality of power, of wealth, of access to the means for acquiring power and/or wealth, of education, and of status. This much is agreed upon. Disagreement arises, however, when the causes of this; situation are sought. Most whites see these inequalities as being the result of the unequal contribution made by the various ethnic groups. The whites have "brought civilization, developed industry, etc., and it is only natural that they should take the lion's share. The blacks have not really contributed, either because they are biologically inferior, or because they are culturally inferior. There is disagreement as to whether and when this cultural gap can be bridged, but there is wide agreement that it existed in the first place and is at the origin of today's inequalities. Most blacks, on the other hand, see these inequalities as being largely the result of exploitation and of inequality of opportunity. http://www.sahistory.org.za/archive/chapter-3-south-africa-culture-and-conflict |
zetdee: @Chris..I meant stop thinking that Nigeria can be compared to South Africa, i wasn't asking you to stop digging dirt on SA.yes Nigeria is economically competing with south africa. but when it comes to social problems, corruption, police misconduct, poverty, social inequality, violence and crime, south africa is not so different after all. and who says we're comparing to you? if you are bright you would know that for every trash your brothers write about us, we post yours to show that you're not so different and a bunch of hypocrites. how's that so difficult for you south africans to grasp. so you expect to derail the thread to bash us and expect us to look the other way/ on our own turf. you must be joking we only kept quiet so we could enjoy the military comparisons that have made this thread alive till no but you guys just have to expose you ignorance by always diverting. take your preaching to you SA brothers |
Thiza: RAPE CASES IN NIGERIA:South africa is the rape capital of the world and it keeps getting worst that even old women are not exempted.. what a filthy country ![]() http://www.everywhereist.com/wtf-wednesday-south-africa-rape-capital-of-the-world/ even their leader is leading by example as he is seen as the most sex starved leader in the world ![]() http://abcnews.go.com/International/south-african-president-jacob-zumas-sex-scandal/story?id=9781141 even among children!! http://abcnews.go.com/International/south-african-president-jacob-zumas-sex-scandal/story?id=9781141 sick sick country indeed ![]() |
zetdee: Ok people, enough with the nonsense, comparing South Africa with Nigeria is like comparing a goat with computer. I love how stats from SA are always brought up to show SA in a negative light, but when i search for Nigeria's i can't find anything, that alone is proof of how backward that society is. The only stats and info on Nigeria is from international bodies, and Nigeria is always rated low compared to SA on every index.Awww!! parrot want a cracker? ![]() you started the bashing thing and we kept quiet knowing you people are not bright and now you want it to stop cos you've run out of ideas. we never said we rank higher than you in corruption and some other, but militarily we will mop up your country in days. does it really hurt south africans that they are as filthy as they portray other african countries? cos i don't seem to understand why you're crying for something you started to stop. ![]() |
agaugust: ...and they want to insult nigeria ? do these mandela boys think before they post comments ?no boss. they are as dumb as they sound ![]() |
zetdee: NIGERIA THE MOST CORRUPT COUNTRY IN THE WORLDErrr!! wrong again.. Nigeria is not the most corrupt country in the world. this is it's rank in Africa though not so impressive but not number one http://nigerianschoolsonline.com.ng/index.php/blog/society-lifestyle/796-top-most-corrupt-countries-in-africa and this is our ranking world wide and Nigeria does not make the top 40 http://www.ranker.com/list/the-most-corrupt-countries-in-the-world/info-lists?page=2 once again am exposing the ignorance or south africans of the world around them. this also calls to question the quality of education they get from their beautiful schools. dumb people ![]() |
agaugust: the answer is....how safe is south africa from the photos below ? ![]() even Ugly Zuma has joined the gang of cannibals. damn that Niccur is Ugly ![]() |
Thiza: @chris365 WHEN RUN OUT OF IDEAS THEN RUBBISH THE CLAIM, WHEN EVIDENCE PRESENTED OVERWHELMS THEN INSULT IN DEFENCE, WHEN ARTICLES ARE PRESENTED THEN UNDERMINE THE ARGUMENT......WHAT A GIMMICK DEFENCEcan you please point out where i undermined any of your evidence of problems Nigeria faces. or it's just hard for you to accept that south africa is just as filthy as you portray Nigeria. once again you have proven how limited your brain is by indirectly exposing yourself after you've run out of ideas to rubbish my country. go hug transformer if it hurts ![]() i dare you to post more and i'll show you even worse about south africa. don't derail this thread again or we'll do this all day |
Donian007: Rub it in their faces dude!i didn't wanna go that level but these dull heads have taken are maturity for granted for too long. |
Thiza: SOUTH AFRICAN SPECIAL FORCES:as usual.. all models and gutless just marketing strategies ![]() |
Thiza: COMPARE BETWEEN THE TWOare you so poorly educated that you can't draw your own analysis than to copy and paste web links and articles? give me the reason why south african police should be seen as different from Nigerian police in terms of corruption, professional misconduct, brutality etc... although our officers are not having sex in their stations while SA police is leading by example ![]() |
Thiza: @NAIJAPIKINGIDI whenever Nigeria's belly is exposed...The defence becomes a nationalistic rhetoric, is this information true:South Africans just keep showing how intellectually challenged they really are. ![]() which powerful country has not experience leakage in it's sector? duhhh! e.g The all Powerful US :- http://www.livescience.com/37344-craziest-intelligence-leaks-in-history.html The Great Israeli intelligence sector:- http://www.haaretz.com/news/national/like-u-s-israel-has-problem-with-security-leaks-but-not-as-serious-national.premium-1.533217 so what's the big deal that it only happened once in Nigeria. are you this S.TUPID ![]() You'll probably not hear of south africa's because your intelligence body is as weak and rotten as you police and military. ![]() How Deep is the Rot in South Africa’s Intelligence Services? South Africa has a sorry history of its intelligence services being abused for political ends. In 1994, the country was promised that never again would those in power be in a position to misuse the state apparatus to spy on their political opponents. This promise was repeated after the bruising succession battle between then president Thabo Mbeki and his successor, Jacob Zuma, after evidence emerged that National Intelligence Agency (NIA) officials took sides in the battle. The NIA has since been incorporated into the State Security Agency (SSA). Yet there is evidence of the cycle of abuse emerging once again, in spite of the fact that the intelligence services claim to have tightened internal controls. http://www.ru.ac.za/highwayafrica/articles/name,59699,en.html |
Thiza: Compare the two Police forces:once again.. IRRELEVANT you should compare Nigerian police to this: South Africa's Police Urged to Seek Help National Police Minister Nathi Mthethwa has urged the country's police not to be afraid to seek psychological help. His comment comes in the wake of several incidents of police brutality. http://allafrica.com/view/group/main/main/id/00023475.html instead of comparing NPF to models, compare them to this... and please try and explain the difference if you are not so dumb.
|
Thiza: BOKO HARAM HAS EXCELLENT INTELLIGENCE UNIT:IRRELEVANT it must be that you are trying to compare boko haram's intelligence to south african intelligence agency. since seleka have shown to be more intelligent and powerful than SANDF.since boko haram with this articles claim of high intelligence have almost all their high ranking members killed or arrested. you guys are dull as usual ![]() |
zetdee: If South Africa was as bad as theyWill you drop it with this world cup thingy. worst countries have hosted the world cup and it didn't change their status: Mexico, Brazil.. and as unsafe as Brazil is, they will still host it next year. has that changed their status? NO go back to school if you've run out of things to say ![]() |
Thiza: NIGERIANS ARE THE LAST PEOPLE ON EARTH TO TELL SOUTH AFRICANS ABOUT CORRUPTION:And south African's are the least people to tell us about corruption http://zeenews.india.com/news/world/corruption-in-south-africa-gets-worse-harms-citizens_846299.html. Culture of corruption’ costs South Africa R30 billion The former managing director of the World Bank has said South African society is infected by a “culture of corruption and impunity” that has led to R30 billion ($3.29 billion) a year being lost in procurement. - See more at: http://www.supplymanagement.com/news/2013/culture-of-corruption-costs-south-africa-r30-billion/#sthash.8VGpuZyv.dpuf drop it bro and go back to the military topic cos SA ain't so innocent from these things after all. kids!! |
Thiza: This how the world view nigerians:and this is how the world sees south africa. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-20971240 very sick country. ![]() http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/21829741 yall ain't saints after all... so whats the use criticizing another? hypocrites http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2013/feb/14/fear-arming-south-africa-guns it says: "Many people say they live in fear of crime in South Africa, with Johannesburg still listed as one of the five most dangerous cities in the word, along with Mogadishu and New Orleans". "Officially, according to the government statistics, crime is decreasing, with house break-ins and home invasions also down. But unofficially I don't think people buy into those figures," said Andrew Seldon, editor of the South Africa-based security publication Hi-Tech Security Solutions". A victims of crime report last year found that six out of 10 South Africans feared burglary more than any other crime and felt less safe in their homes than they did a year previously. As a result, experts say massive numbers of people are continuing to resort to the use of private security firms. Figures show that almost 1,000 new security businesses were registered in South Africa in 2012 alone, a figure which has been steadily increasing over the last three years. "People are definitely resorting to using private security companies. The main reason people give you is that they have a lack of faith in the police, both because of corruption and because of the lack of training. The police don't have the skills to deal with crime situations effectively," said Seldon. Even though we have seen levels of violent crime going down, we still have an enormously high rate of homicide in South Africa," said Chandre Gould, a senior researcher at the Institute for Security Studies Africa in Pretoria. so what is this hypocrite's point exactly? |
Thiza: Information about Crimes in NigeriaAs unsafe as south Africa. look it up or i"ll embarrass you with the facts. we never told you Nigeria was free from crime, but for a country that portrays itself as "developed" African country, pack a lot of designers military and police, ain't it a shame that you are as unsafe as Nigeria that doesn't produce as much weapons and doesn't have sophisticated jets and frigates as you do? am telling you guys that your military and police are just models and you can't prove other wise ![]() |
. |
@Hezron i don't think you said too much. i'm aware of some of what you said e.g the maids, the iranian group being monitored. these things are not considered top secret to Nigerians that know Nigeria. i keep telling these SAs that it's not about their police and military modelling to sell weapons, but when it comes to combat experience, military tactics etc Nigerian military will mop up SA 1 week. the apartheid era SADF has died and what they have now will not be able to beat back a small rebel group of child soldiers: case study from seleka. Even Kenya will invade SA and occupy it before Nigeria will come to their rescue.. FACT |
patriot4: fellows Watch this,i must say that i truly respect the Egyptian military for how professional they carried out this coup. you'll almost think it's not a coup. personally i was worried cos Egypt's demise will not only be devastating for middle east, but also the sahel region which Nigeria belongs to. Morsi pushed aside the purpose of the revolution to impose the muslim brotherhood's islamic agenda on egypt, and it has backfired on his party. too bad. |
patriot4: It is good that you care about the truth, but you are going about it the wrong way.this is another proof that he's just a kid with a computer, a man that says he doesn't want respect but the truth, how can you be truthfull if you don't respect your dignity? so it would be best you ignore him till he gets himself. notice he doesn't even understand what you mean and he still won't understand mine.. no common sense at all ![]() |
patriot4: The Special Task Force (STF) operation Safe Haven, in Plateau state, says more than 100 rebels that recently attacked some villages in Langtang south local government area of the state, were killed in a gun duel with officers of the task force.seriously our local media have become so lazy that they report news from rumors. some said 70 villagers died, some said 40 while the village head said about 30 were killed by the attackers. even the news of troops been attacked and kidnapped by militants in potiskum was false. i think our local media have gone crazy. especially premium times and sahara reporters. |
Is anyone following what's happening in Egypt? it's still geographically in Africa you know. abeg Libya was enough trouble for the Sahel. Egypt's demise won't be easy for us and Israel at all. |
