Munamu:
I live in the Northwest, the destruction of lives and properties by these Fulani marauders is more pronounced here than any other part of the country. They kill tens and hundreds, but most of these killings are not known in the South.
My opinion is that, it is all about land grabbing , because these killings are indiscriminately and Muslims are the most affected. If you say what of southern Kaduna? It is still the same grabbing of land and communities irrespective of tribe and religion.
Although Fodio led the jihad,it was more about land grabbing than the spread of Islam. If not, why do we still have sizeable population of xtians around sokoto axis(Zuru people). Presently in Niger north, and part of kebbi state, most of the villages had been sacked. These marauders in their hundreds continue continue to kill unhindered. Some communities have started contributions for them each month.
Now if this can be happening unabated within Hausa communities ,mostly of Muslims population, what do we call it? Re-islamnisation!!

Therefore, nothing like islamnisation, but the government trying to find land for Fulanis, roaming around Africa. Who says all Fulanis are Muslims?
In order to win this war, let us come together and defend our land against these marauders.
They are both synonymous.

There is no crime in a lecturer admiring a student. he never demanded sex for marks. cause she was just seeking admission. she was within the age of consent. she willing followed Dr Samuel omoniyi to the clubhouse. when he was talking to her and touched her hand she said he was harassing her and he apologized. The school out of trying to portray an image that is not really convincing cause this happens in most schools across the nation, even secondary schools, were not objective. Na person wey daybreak catch be barawo all of them na thief the first lecturer was properly punished cause he demanded such, while the second was not open about his intentions outrightly. with the video, he has a chance of taking his case to court. The only ground the school might have in dismissing him would be on the basis of attracting negative attention to the school while casting it in a bad light.
for your info recently a school in kwara recently pardoned some so-called repentant staff for similar stuff due to the fact that they showed remorse.
We southerners we will kill our own. I don't support lecturers demanding sex for marks.it's wrong. however, there is no law stopping a man from admiring a lady irrespective of whether she is a student or not

Am really baffled by the news I keep hearing about the attacks on the soldiers, It's like they are sitting ducks. There are very simple and affordable solutions that could warn them about movements of people from the 20+ kilometers away for them to be prepared. There are various groups detection radars for force protection.
Funny enough this insurgents will flee to their bases, why is it difficult to track them on their return journey to their bases. It's just pathetic.

Tell me what's constructive about her criticism when shes and her husband are part of the problem. In Nigeria most people forming activist are those who are not being called to be part of the government (stealing). They do not in anyway care about the people. By the way WHO IS BANKROLLING YOU.

In addition even God said the sins of the parent will be melted out as punishment to there kids and offspring ..So why shouldn't they drag her into this. If she is truly a sane and saint as she pretends to be. she should have done the dragging herself before people do it for her. Rubbish story, first of her husband never worked for the NHIS, just that her husband name and the guy that headed the Agency bear Same name then.
many of them are mumu. I have learnt somethings about Nigerians. They will always raise their mouths and shout oppression, marginalization, destruction, commotion etc. But whenever somebody rises up to fight the injustice. That day the person becomes a target .The people shouting oppression ,destruction etc would decend massively on you.To pull you down.Sometimes Nigerians are not worth fighting for.

She is trying to prohibit sales of alcohol inside the mammy markets. It's not sold anywhere else within any barracks except at the mammy's and they have strictly regulated business hours

She's working with a mindset already prejudiced by Islamic/Sharia law and that's what she's trying to impose on a supposedly secular Nigerian police force
let's not conclude on the matter yet. Naturally a wife and a mother don't generally support the taking of alcohol. It can just be a natural reflex. We're it will get messy is when it's start having religious connotation.

NANS ZONE B LEADERSHIP SUMMIT; Redefining the Modules Integrating the Paradigm.

Franklin Benjamin, A United states polymath, leading writer, political philosopher, humorist and civic activist once asserted that
“An investment in knowledge pays the best interest”.
This is true because ignorance is a bane for development and a path to destruction.

The knowledge of “Education according to without values, C. S. Lewis which as useful as it is, seems rather to make man a more clever devil.” formed the crux that necessitated the convergence of Students Leaders, SU Presidents of Tertiary Institutions across the 11 states of South-south and South East, Nigeria at University of Port Harcourt, Rivers state.

The Conference which had the theme - EDUCATION; THE PATHWAY TO REDEFINING LEADERSHIP was graced by notable speakers including the Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Chief Timipre Marlin Sylva, Acting Vice chancellor, University of Port Harcourt, Prof. Stephen Okodudu, Chairman Enforcement and Recovery, Akwa Ibom State Internal Revenue Service, Mr. Leo Leo Umanah who spoke indepthly on creating Right values, and the need for mental calibration.

In his opening remarks, the Coordinator of NANS ZONE B, Comr. Etinyene Offongekpe expressed appreciation to the students for coming together to seek possible ways to addressing the country’s challenges, this he said will redefine leadership on the right perspective.

The Minister of State for petroleum resources, Chief Timipre Sylva during his keynote presentation noted that Nigerians are the solution to the problem facing the country and once we come to the realization of that established fact, change our mindsets and actions, integrate new modules and activate new strategies, Nigeria will be better than what it is today.

He commended the leadership of NANS Zone B ably led by Comr. Etinyene Friday Offongekpe for having the best interest of the country at heart and for putting up such event.
This he said will go a long way to repositioning leadership as the new generation prepares to take over.

In his goodwill message, the Revolutionary president of NANS, Comr. Asefon Sunday Dayo appreciated the Minister for playing fatherly roles and for always finding time to interact and seek ways to improve our nation.

Highpoint of the event include the official induction of the Honorable Minister of State for petroleum resources into the prestigious NANS Hall of Fame, first ever to be inducted.
Money things if you understand the game.

if you had an IQ to start with you would question whether the igp wife was the one appointed by the president to issue orders that partains to police under the office of the igp

What does an HAIJA Islamic views have to do with secular police

If you had iq you would remember that beer is a legal drink in this country that should be taken by supposed adults which the policeman fall under

If you had iq you would rather be concerned about the weed that isn't legalized but taken by policemen in the open
It's not an Islamic issue guy. There are stutues on sale of alcohol with military or para military facilities. There are rules hovering the sales and intake within such facilities.
They are standard

Madam you want us to believe that you are just coming to the realization of the filth. You have been part of the system for over 30 yrs. Police barracks have been know for Filth. Environmental sanitation is a welcome idea but it's a normal occurrence in most barracks . Former president Jonathan complained about it. The issues is more of an institutionalize stuff. Low funding ,poor accommodation facilities.old buildings that are unhabitable, etc.
On the issue of eviction ,I don't think the IG's wife have such powers . Even speaking of sending signal.Thats not possible. What she can do is speak to her husband or appropriate authorities to look into such matters as it affects the entire police workforce. The beauty about it is that she is sincere ,and willing to do something about it.if the authorities would go along with her plan ,we might start seeing some cosmetic changes in the barracks. Also regarding the beer parlours she is right. The indiscriminate sales of such in not helping the children. Such are meant to be sold inside the mammy markets not around living or work areas within the barracks. Kudos to her, hope her efforts pays off.
