Politics / Re: Drugs From South West Responsible For Banditry, Insecurity – Katsina NAFDAC MD by chrisblack: 3:36pm On Sep 15, 2021
DefHQ:
The newly deployed State Director of National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) in Katsina State, Abdulsalam Badamasi, has said that drug supply from the south is one of the major factors responsible for the security challenges experienced in the state.

Mr. Badamasi, during a courtesy call to Governor Aminu Bello Masari at the state’s Government House, pledged to use his wealth of experience in the drug field
to mitigate the menace of drug abuse in the state.

The state Director of NAFDAC said he was in the government house to inform Masari about the agency’s lined up programme towards mitigating drug abuse in the state.

According to Badamasi, under his watch, only wholesome regulated products would be allowed to thrive.

He equally pledged to join hands with sister agencies and security outfits to decimate to the barest minimum the menace of drugs in the state.

While thanking Masari for the cooperation and regular support NAFDAC enjoys in the state, Badamasi said there is need to embark on mass public enlightenment in schools to sensitise students on the consequences of drug abuse.

He further said as part of plans to win the war against drug abuse in the state, the agency will be partnering with the state government to develop and promote Micro Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) in Katsina State by creating enlightenment through mass media campaigns to empower intending entrepreneurs with the right information.

To that effect, the state NAFDAC boss, appealed to the governor for free weekly slots on the state radio and television to enable the agency actualise this goal.

He equally, appealed for supportive vehicles from the state government to enable the agency engaged in door to door enlightenment as the one the agency has is not enough to cover the state’s 34 local government effectively.

“Your Excellency Sir, I want to assure you that I will do my best to ensure that only wholesome regulated products such as package food and drugs are provided for Katsina people to consume and I will also ensure that I collaborate with other security organisations and other related bodies in the state to ensure that we mitigate the issue of drug abuse in the state because drugs are behind most of the bandits attrocities and other insecurity challenges we are experiencing in Katsina.

“A normal person cannot just wakeup and begin to kill his fellow human beings except under the influence of drugs.

“I have been privilege to work with NAFDAC for over 20 years and I have been working virtually in all parts of the federation. I have been to lots of places.

“In order to achieve that, your Excellency Sir, we have to embark on mass public enlightenment in our schools, that is the secondary schools and even our tertiary institutions as well, so as to sensitize our children on the dangers associated with drug abuse.

“We sincerely appreciate all the support that NAFDAC has been enjoying from its inception to date in Katsina State during your regime and other regimes that came before yours.

“In the same vein, I wish to assure you that we will give our maximum cooperation as regards issue of MSME development. NAFDAC is a critical stakeholder especially in the ease of doing business.

“So we will be partnering with the state investment promotion council to see that all these MSME intending entrepreneurs are encouraged to come and register their products with NAFDAC.

“So we want to use our local media especially the state radio and television to present certain programmes as enlightenment.

“Your Excellency, as you are aware, there is financial constraints everywhere. We may not be able to sponsor such programmes so I want to appeal to your Excellency to allow us or to give us the privilege of using the state media, the radio and television to present perhaps weekly programmes about enlightenment about NAFDAC activities in the state,” Badamasi said.

In his response, Governor Masari assured the agency of the state government’s cooperation while emphasising particularly on MSME development which he described as the backbone of any society.

There are sea ports in South South but FG is subjugating them for that of Lagos to strive. If the issue of state collecting VAT scale through, Lagos State will feel the heat. It is a fish hook for them. It will lead to total revamping of the ports in Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Delta and even oil companies being directed to take their headquarters to the Niger Delta region. True federalism will kill Lagos State to an extent but Lagos is not seeing it from that angle.

By the way, I'm from Delta, Nigeria. We have the third best IGR, and most times, highest FAAC allocation

This case is now divided into two parts. Kanu's defence team will drag FG into how and where he was arrested.

I'm sure it'll be a technical loophole that his lawyers will leverage on to go as far as ECOWAS, AU, EU and UN.

I'm not supporting NK, but diplomatic means must be followed while treating a matter like this. Those international and continental bodies will see us as a country without respect for diplomatic principles in repatriating fugitives.

This case is a good specimen to test our laws because it is now in clear conflict with international laws. We all know Kanu is a fugitive, but the details of how he was brought back should not be shrouded in secrecy and his defence team will really drag the FG in that area.
the same stuff is happening to Belarus. Once the country is detected and discovered to have legally broken international laws.it becomes a new ball game

Ilorin was lost because the indigenous people were made to believe the new found religion was the way. And decided to sabotage all efforts . Mind you the head was afonja who had all the military strategist with him. Also point of corrections to the erroneous falacies you guys carry about on nairaland. Afonja won the war not the fulanis. The fulanis were only able to topple him after the war when they knew he was already weakened and that they did not because they are militarily strong, but because they used his trusted men and officers to remove him from power for not being pious enough. Yorubas are simply an amazing people with an established and great past. Today we are one of the most successful, innovative and prominent ethnic group in Africa.

If the Yoruba had their own nation, free of the encumbrance of Nigeria, then I think we would today compare favourably with the likes of Singapore and UK.

Human resources make nations great. Fact. Yorubas have probably the best and most well-rounded reserve of human resources in Africa. Fact.
I agree with what you and reno have said, but there is an existential threat to the greatness of the Yorubas, which will start manifesting in the next couple of years if things are not properly taken care of. We tend to ignore this aspect that has been creeping upon us as a people. we are living on past glory. Our youths, that are meant to carry forth the success story are failing. though some are still trying. We are gradually losing our omoluabi's etos. All these caused by some destructive external interference and above all the stupid and destructive political sets currently ravaging the southwest enabled by their political hoodlums and unions. Politics / Re: Division And Disloyalty In Yoruba nation by chrisblack: 7:07pm On Jun 20, 2021
cocolacec:
Division and disloyalty in Yorubaland:

Not everyone with a Yoruba name is Yoruba. From ancient Greece to modern times, half-blood people have been disloyal and caused great division to their homeland. The full blood Yoruba citizens should be wary of people with Yoruba names that are not really Yoruba, but disguised as Yoruba just to undermine Yorubaland and attack our political leadership from within.

What does it mean to be full blood and half blood Yoruba?

An individual whose two parents are Yoruba is a full-blooded Yoruba.

A person having only one parent as Yoruba is a half blood Yoruba.

Half blood Yoruba, especially those with contaminated blood from Ißo and Fulani like to think of themselves as unified agents in Nigeria. They want to control Yorubaland and assume consensus on behalf of the entire Yoruba Nation. What they believe and what they desire is unstable, uncertain, and transient Yoruba nation open to the control of the Ißo and the Fulani and targeted at the destruction of the full blood Yoruba citizens.

This is really disturbing.

In the early 60s, the half blood Yoruba teamed up with the Ißo and the Fulani led by Remi Fani-Kayode and had Awolowo and 21 other full blood Yoruba citizens imprisoned for 10 years. Moreover, in the late 90s, the half blood Yoruba again teamed up with the Ißo and the Fulani led by Abimbola Davis and had Abiola, and several other full blood Yoruba imprisoned, assassinated and exiled from Nigeria.

The Yoruba half-blood sided with the Ißo and Fulani and secured the imprisonment of Awolowo and ensured the murder of Abiola. Their new target is Tinubu.

As full blood Yoruba citizens, if we do not coordinate ourselves with unity, the disloyalty from the half blood Yoruba will remain within us. We will always fight and our fatherland will remain poor, wretched and miserable.
In both Ißoland and Hausaland there is no half-blood Ißo or half-blood Fulani constituting division and disloyalty among the two nations. But Yorubaland faces many challenges because we have allowed the half blood Yoruba to take prominent political positions across Yorubaland whereas the Ißo and the Fulani have not allowed the half blood Ißo and half blood Fulani to lead their nations politically, socially and economically because of the division and disloyalty of the half blood. This is a lesson in division and disloyalty that the Yoruba nation must learn from the Ißo and the Fulani nations.

In Hausaland, for example, the Sultan, the Emirs, the Governors, the Senators and the Representatives are Fulani of pure blood in a region which belongs to the Hausa people. They are against Hausa or half blood Fulani to lead Hausaland politically, economically and socially due to division and disloyalty.

We ordinarily assume a person comes as a whole mental package of beliefs and desires: a personality of opinions, perspectives, experiences, memories and so on and so forth. But everything is set to evaporate when the half blood Yoruba starts speaking on behalf of the Yoruba nation. They support a commitment that undermines the integrity, interest, well-being and future of the entire Yoruba nation.

The philosophy of divided agents (half blood Yoruba of tainted Ißo and Fulani blood) is the reason for our disunity in Yorubaland and underdevelopment. This gives rise to deep-rooted, philosophical questions, chiefly: why should we continue to allow the half blood Yoruba, particularly those with tainted Ißo and Fulani blood to continue to hold sensitive political offices in Yorubaland?

The full blood Yoruba citizens must address the question if we are to ensure the greatness of the Yoruba nation and end the perpetual betrayal of the Yoruba nation by the half blood Yoruba.

A cursory look at the following top 25 most popular politicians and political figures in Yorubaland who are half blood Yoruba and non-Yoruba disguised as Yoruba citizens may help to end the perpetual betrayal of the Yoruba nation by the half blood Yoruba who have tainted Ißo and Fulani blood. These politicians and popular political figures have always been against the collective good and well-being of Yoruba citizens and the Yoruba nation.

1. Former President Olusegun Obasanjo: He had an Ibo father and a Yoruba mother. He is not a Yoruba citizen, but an Ißo man who is very disloyal to the Yoruba race. 2. Former Governor Gbenga Daniel: He had an Urhobo father and a Yoruba mother. He is not a Yoruba citizen, but an Urhobo man and very disloyal towards the Yoruba race. He was responsible for the ritual killings across Yorubaland, particularly in Ogun State with the help of cult boys. He is a member of the Yoruba-PDP and has recently moved to the Yoruba-APC.

3. Former Governor Raufu Aregbesola: His father was Igbirra and his mother was Yoruba. He is not a Yoruba citizen, but an Igbira man and very disloyal towards the Yoruba race. 7. Aare Ganiyu Adamu: He had a Nupe father and a Yoruba mother. He is not a Yoruba citizen, but a Nupe man and very disloyal towards the Yoruba race. He gets paid by the Ißo criminals in Yorubaland. He is also working for the Fulani to take down Tinubu. He belongs to the Yoruba-PDP.

8. Femi Fani-Kayode: He had a Fulani father and a Yoruba mother. He is not a Yoruba citizen, but a Fulani man and very treacherous towards the Yoruba race. He belongs to the Yoruba-PDP.

9. Dele Momodu: He had an Edo father and a Yoruba mother. He is not a Yoruba citizen, but an Edo man and very disloyal to the Yoruba’s race. He is a discrete member of the Yoruba-PDP.

10. Omoyele Sowore: He had an Ijaw father and an Ijaw mother who emigrated from Ijawland to the Yoruba region of Ondo State. He is an Ijaw citizen rather than a Yoruba citizen and very disloyal to the Yoruba race. He worked for the Fulani between 2015 and 2019 and currently works for the Fulani to undermine Tinubu in 2023. He is an unofficial member of Yoruba-PDP and Yoruba-APC.

11. Governor Rotimi Akeredolu: He had a Yoruba father, an Ijaw mother, and married to an Ißo wife. He is a half-blooded Yoruba and highly disloyal to the Yoruba race. He used his first mandate to take ownership of the wealth of the Yoruba people in Ondo State for the benefit of the Ißo people and the Ijaw people. He is being used to undermine Tinubu in 2023. He belongs to the Yoruba-APC.

12. Governor Seyi Makinde: He had a Yoruba father, an Ißo mother and an Ijaw wife. He is a half-blood Yoruba and very treacherous to the Yoruba race. He works on behalf of the Fulani and Ißo to undermine the Yoruba people. The majority of the killings ongoing in Yorubaland had happened to Oyo State through his support for the half blood Yoruba, the Ißo and the Fulani to kill the Yoruba for political gains. He belongs to the Yoruba-PDP.

13. Former Senator Ademola Adeleke: His father was Yoruba and his mother was Ißo. He's a half-blood Yoruba and very treacherous to the Yoruba race. He belongs to the Yoruba-PDP.

Throughout his career in Nollywood, he never associated with being a Yoruba. He once gave a TV interview in Ghana and claimed to be Ashanti. He is a member of Yoruba-APC, but is a discreet supporter of the Yoruba-PDP.

16. Prof. Banji Akintoye: His father was Yoruba and his mother was Edo. He is a half-blood Yoruba and very treacherous to the Yoruba race. He fled to the US in the 1980s after working with the Ißo and Fulani to provoke a war in Ondo state during the 1983 elections. He belongs to the Yoruba-PDP.

17. Leader of Afenifere's liberal wing Ayo Adebanjo: He had a Yoruba father and an Ißo mother. He is a half blood Yoruba and very disloyal to the Yoruba’s race. He was one of those who lied against Awolowo that he had weapons stored in Ghana to remove the Ißo and the Fulani from power in the 1960s. He belongs to the Yoruba-PDP.

18. Banky Wellington: He had a Yoruba father and an Efik mother. He is a half blood Yoruba and very disloyal to the Yoruba’s race. He worked with MI6 in England and Ißo during the #EndSARS demonstration to assassinate Tinubu. He is a discrete member of the Yoruba-PDP.

19. Speaker Adebo Ogundoyin: He had a Yoruba father and an Ißo mother. He is a half blood Yoruba and very disloyal to the Yoruba’s race. He belongs to the Yoruba-PDP.

They may be anything they want to be in Yorubaland, but they should stay out of our political arena due to their divided loyalty to the Yoruba race.

We must continue to denounce the Yoruba with Ißo and Fulani mixed blood to protect the interests and well-being of the Yoruba nation.

The Nigerian Navy has a combat unit that is tailored towards the marine component of the US navy. The marine is a separate fighting force but they are under the navy, The Nigerian Navy as combatant unit that fights on land, sea, and Air. the Air component is still in its infancy stage. Having their desert warfare unit moving to kano is no big deal. learn before jumping on stuff you have little ideas about. Morden navy does not fight on the sea alone.
