Do you mean millions will freely convert to a religion that's violent?

Do you know that thousands of Muslims are laying down their lives to fight BH in the north east?

Wasting money on a dead body

ISLAM IS THE SOLUTION FOR HUMANITY
what do you term waste. It's all choice. Have you ever heard of Taj mahal .it was built by a Muslim king as a place of burial for his beloved. That you own religion chooses to bury people by your own method of just digging the ground and throwing them in gives no solution to humanity , how would you bury the ones blown up by some so called lovers of humanity whose bodies parts canot be picked. Mind you our religion teaches us to respect the dead. Have you heard of tombs even in the books?
And note Islam as a solution to humanity is never true because it does not preach peace. Even the reference to it being peaceful is not proven. Even the refrecence to it saying that if a person is killed is like the whole mankind is destroyed was not even Islamic but it was making a reference to what the Jews believed

There you go again. You seem not to understand the nature of Politics in Ekiti. I laugh when you said fappy and MOB are maintaining the party. If you are truly on ground in Ekiti you would never have made such statement. For the past 12years APC in Ekiti State as been maintained across all levels by numerous members and amongst which is the governor , who as been taking the lead in such endeavor even when he was not in power. Point 1. Go round and ask all present and past party excos within the past 12yrs. Why did you not ask yourself if MOB felt he was capable enough at the beginning, why did he claim he went in search of fayemi to come and contest the election knowing full well that he was not as rich as him who had been in politics in Lagos for more than 8yrs. Adeyeye would never had gotten more than 500votes any time any day .who would have given Adeyeye the ticket. A decampee with not major electoral value compare to olujimi. Mind you just like he came over so would olujimi in due course. In politics there are various interest and camps. The question is which do you belong to. We have seen camps that are sometimes stronger than that of a governor. But in that of Ekiti. Many of this candidates lack structure even MOB. Coming down to ado via ikere and marching in company of people does not translate into structure
anigbajumo:

You were very funny, u mean like likes of MOB and fappy that were on ground maintaining the party even while fayemi was not around?? Mind u MOB were the first person Tinubu handled ACN to in Ekiti before the likes of fayemi joined their camp. Adeyeye tried all his best in his constituency for feyemi to get re-elected. He lost to Olujimi at court on technical reasons which are norms in our electioneering. To be fair, the governor could av allowed the election to be free and fair but he can’t coz am sure Fappy of MOB will floor that his unpopular candidate. Fayemi only want who he can remote he didn’t go for popularity same with Oni and Fayose saga.

simple. The govt should setup the process of winding down their support. But mind you they would still be given the advantage to the Muslims. They govt would withdraw teachers from Christian schools .stop funds going to such schools while diverting same to muslim schools. Who looses? . As christians we need to be wiser. We must insist on equality. If we insist on equality. It's to our advantage. Cause our religion preaches such . If equality is established. Then all these issues will be resolved. If a Muslim student can wear an injab to a baptist school fine as long as a Christian student can wear a choir robe or celestial can put on a white garment to An- Sarudeen. Christian can stomach it ,but they can't cause they lack tolerance. You get it

Oga it was rigged stop defending shiit, I listened to Adeyeye on politics today yesterday night on channels Tv and his grievances was the same with fappy, MOB and the rest when I listened to them on Tvc yesterday noon. There is a pictorial evidence which clearly shows that some of the yesterday election officials was with Abiodun in Abuja when he went to obtain nomination form at the party HQ in Abuja. Fayemi openly supported Abiodun and he did everything possible for him to win. Fayemi is a traitor he has forgotten how MOB and Adeyeye worked tirelessly for him in 2018. Before u quote me I fully understand Ekiti politics to the core.
Guy you know nothing about Ekiti politics. Some of these candidates we know them .They all were begging for the Governor's endorsement. Take MOB even in Iyin his home town many would not have voted for him ,due to the perceived aloofness. They sit in Abuja and come down only during elections. Tell him to show you people of his local government who he as helped in securing good jobs . He has been In governance all his life from Lagos to Ekiti tell him to show you Iyin Ekiti people he has helped with gainful employment. The mistake you people make is to think people are stupid . When they were registering members, many of them were not fully involved, some of them never even bothered while some of them forgot they would run ,instead was working for others to register members thinking they would be compensated. You are very funny of all people Adeyeye was the person you are listening to . Adeyeye who could not hold on to his Senate seat. Who was Ony compensate with the ticket out of pity from what he went through at the hands of oshoko. Or are your talking about fappy who as always been an underperformer. Tell me who amongst them within the party can boast of 10,000 votes if the election is conducted 5times. MOB can Garner max 20k with bulk due to sympathy not on performance. Go to his senatorial district and ask his people. Charity begins from home. When people closer to a candidates complain about them .how do you expect them fair in the eye of outsiders.Adeyeye is just 4years in the party. He did not even spend up to 6months when he started clamouring. A person who can't even defeat olujimi.
The truth is all those 7 candidates don't stand a chance if the primaries are repeated 10times.

Why not void this agreement foregoing state funding in order to keep your autonomy? Most of these issues arose because the school got in bed with the devil. Keep the government out of your affairs whenever possible. Option 2 is going to court showing how the government is violating the agreement. Everything's a crisis in this country because they dont permanent resolutions.
funding from the government is a rigth. Have you asked yourself why in govt funded schools IRS teachers are readily available. While they stopped recruiting CRS teacher's. Why they allow for building of mosques in schools but refuse chapels. The govt is the cause of all these. They have always shown bias towards a particular religion in the state.if they want to be fair it's simple religious education should be taught in all schools , equal numbers of religious education teachers from all major religion should be employed across the state and paid equally . Equal teaching time slot to be allocated to all. Mosques and chapels to be allowed in all schools. Student can then be free to use various religious garments agreed by both govt and religious bodies

If the school is state owned it falls under state laws and regulations. It's private it has the latitude to make its own dress codes. People don't need to coexist in the same spaces go to your own.
Even if it falls under the state. It still does not permit the govt pandering to one religion to the detriment of others . State schools are either religiously balanced or they don't support any of the religion's. Just like what is happening in fg schools hijab is been worn every were. CAN is suppose to insist on christian students also putting on robes and other religious garments. To school. Likewise traditionalist should be encouraged

how is that possible in an Option A4 election. Many of you just sit and say rubbish about what you don't know. Who were the candidates that really had a chance against BOA. It's a critical question .How as he been able to touchbers of the party across the 16 LGA. There was no way he could have upstaged Sitting governor.who had had the party in his control for over 12years.
They all knew they could not have won without is support. MOB on particular knew this and was hoping that by blackmailing along with the other candidates would create an atmosphere of doubt. That would lead to the primaries being tilted to them. Here is the catch. Bafem fappy afolabi are all the Govs men. Kayode never really had a foot within the party in Ekiti. So telle who else

Prince Dele Banjo (The Conservative Nigerian Youth)

"Giving the crown to a northern girl is bound to raise suspicions. We all know that unlike the youths of southern Nigeria that go about dancing naked and acting pornography, the northern arewa youths are more noble, patriotic and conservative.

Therefore giving the miss Nigeria crown to a northern girl is bound to raise suspicions as to whether or not it is a political attempt to sabotage and corrupt the youths of northern Nigeria.

In whatever case, we advise the youths of Kano and of northern Nigeria as a whole to reject avenues of indecency.

Some people are jealous of the conservative values of the North and they want to sabotage the youths of northern Nigeria with indecency.

The youths of northern Nigeria should realize that despite the indecency in the south of Nigeria and despite the fact that the southern youths dance naked in the public, they are poor, they don't have jobs, infrastructure or development. Therefore the youths of northern Nigeria should not copy them and you should realize that what matters is achieving development, strong economy, good infrastructure and jobs for the youths.

Indecency doesn't make you a developed country. Despite the nudity of the southern youths, they are poor like anybody else, therefore don't join them. Instead, the northern youths should stick to your conservative northern values, stick to the principles of the great Tafawa Balewa and Ahmadu Bello.

Our message to Shatu Garko is this:

If you a northerner, decide to sabotage the conservative culture and heritage of Kano by engaging in indecent beauty pageants and you decide to sell Kano out to the south of Nigeria, then in order to ensure justice, we will also sell the south of Nigeria and it's youths out to Kano.

Our message to the Miss Nigeria organizers is this:

If the award to Shatu Garko is an attempt to corrupt the youths of northern Nigeria, then you should realize that your agenda is dead on arrival because even if you remove the Kano Hisbah, the moderate arewa youths will not allow you to mock their women. In addition, the teenagers in their madrasas will immediately shout haram and pounce on you if you attempt to do nonsense with their women. The northerners don't joke around with their women.

Therefore, those that wish to spread indecency to the north of Nigeria should be realize that they will not get anywhere and therefore they should be less concerned about conquering the Kano Hisbah.

Instead, those that wish to spread indecency should be more concerned about the banthestrip charity under the leadership of Prince Dele Banjo.

You have no idea the kind of war the banthestrip charity under the leadership of Prince Dele Banjo is going to wage on those that want to spread indecency in Nigeria.

Thank you very much.

Over the years have seen a lot of narrow minded youths on nairaland. The writer of this tales by moonlight. Seems to be the most stupid. You talk about the southerners being unpatriotic, indecent , dancing naked etc. I had lived in the north all you have said is obtainable in large amount over there. The only issues are just the hypocritical disguise obtainable there. Sex is a patriotic aspiration of bulk of northern youths. Even down to the almajiri sex is the ultimate. They go about fraternizing, day dreaming about it. They have all manner of sex enhancement. Many under the cover of veils commit more indecency than what the entire southern youth put together can not match. That a lady is deemed beautiful is a plus and never a cause.Even in your private Conner you would cherish if to strip girls can touch you. We know your types . hypocrite who desire the sexual experience of such, but come out in the open to claim conservative

Some of you can't seem to read the plain reasons in political issues. It boils down to leverage. Direct primaries afford a candidate the opportunity to test is or her popularity directly without being subjected to the influence of power brokers.the senators are in support because they feel there governor's have an undue influence and control over their nominations or ticket. While the power brokers feel that indirect primaries are needed for consensus and better being able to present a candidate acceptable to all. Both sides have their advantages and also their disadvantages.
But in this particular aspect. It's all about 2023.
Tinubus group needs the direct primaries for him to stand a chance. While his opponents needs the Indirect primaries to finish him totally

Politics / Re: How We Foiled Jonathan’s Effort To Make Mulikat Adeola Speaker - Akande Reveals by chrisblack: 7:14am On Dec 13, 2021
MANDIPUTIN:
AS president in 2011, Goodluck Jonathan did all he could to ensure South West grabbed the country’s number four seat, including lobbying then opposition leaders from the zone, to no avail. The North West eventually grabbed the seat, supported by South West leaders in opposition to then ruling party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Former Governor of Osun State and now statesman, Chief Bisi Akande, made this revelation in his autobiography, “My Participations” which is currently dominating political and national dis- course.

Aminu Tambuwal, now Sokoto State governor, won the seat, against the preferred pick of his party, Mrs Mulikat Adeola Akande, from the South-West. Defunct Action Congress of Nigeria, then a fledging opposition, which had Akande and his soulmate, former Lagos State governor, Senator Bola Tinubu, as front- line leaders, openly asked its elected members of the House of Representatives, mostly from the South-West, to work against their region and back Tambuwal from North-West.

The opposition party’s support carried Tambuwal through the contest against Akande, then ruling party’s favourite for the speakership seat.

In his book, Chief Akande revealed that former president then as incumbent, personally reached out to Tinubu, who is now believed to be nursing presidential aspiration in 2023 and himself, but couldn’t convince them.

He wrote, “President Jonathan, immediately after the meeting (with political parties), called Bola Tinubu aside into a lobby to broach the matter of ACN support for a choice of who would become the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

“That same day, President Jonathan talked to me on phone about the same matter. He disclosed that PDP had zoned the position to the South-West but that only one Muraina and another Mulika won elections on PDP ticket from the zone into the House of Representatives.

“I quickly reminded him that, as at (sic) that date in the United States of America, while the Democrats produced the Senate President, the Republicans (the opposition) produced the Speaker of the House of Representatives. I boasted that ACN was capable of suggesting to him ten names of members from the South West from among whom to choose if PDP would be magnanimous enough to practice democracy the way it was being practised in the USA, from where we imported our presidential system.

“He seemed pissed off and stopped the conversation,” he said.

In the era being referenced by the former national chairman of the defunct opposition party, the controlling party in each of the chambers of the Congress in the United States was in the majority, which wasn’t the case with ACN when the Ila-born politician was making his claim.

He also revealed in the book that their political platforms had their sight on working against the then ruling party.

“In the aftermath of the 2011 elections, many of our people were dissatisfied. Under the PDP, our country has become thoroughly decadent. Those of us who saw the then ruling party as an extension of the military corrupt politics preferred to work with all the major opposition parties which would eventually lead to a merger if we were to uproot the entrenched PDP and its evil tendencies. The first party that came to mind was the CPC which like us, was resolutely opposed to the PDP.

“Immediately after the elections, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila led a team of ACN boys to Bola Tinubu and me to suggest support for Hon. Aminu Tambuwal, a PDP member from Sokoto, to become the Speaker of the House of Representatives.

In the meantime, President Goodluck Jonathan was pressing for a government of national unity, with a bid of sucking ACN into manipulative extinction.”

Another major revelation from the book is the involvement of a former National Security Adviser and a Sokoto prince, Colonel Sambo Dasuki (rtd) in the presidential project of now President Muhammadu Buhari preparatory to the 2011 presidential election against then incumbent Jonathan.

Jonathan defeated Buhari in the contest, before Buhari triumphed in their replay in 2015.

Interestingly, Dasuki would go on to become Jonathan’s most senior security adviser, but also ended up spending 1,484 days in detention, while being prosecuted by the Buhari administration, for alleged corruption while serving in the Jonathan administration.

He was eventually released on December 24, 2019, after many court orders for his released had been spurned by the administration. He was accused of siphoning fund meant for arms to fight insurgency in the North-East.

The author, however, paid the embattled former security chief compliments for his role in facilitating a merger between ACN and CPC in the build-up to the 2011 poll, to defeat Jonathan.

He said, “The reaction of CPC to this letter (to CPC from ACN and published on the same page), began the failed negotiation between ACN and CPC which attracted further intervention by some national leaders like General Babangida, Atiku Abubakar and others.

“This eventually crashed at the threshold of the 2011 presidential elections which President Jonathan of the PDP won again.

“The efforts of the former National Security Adviser– Colonel Sambo Dasuki is worth mentioning in this political bridge-building attempt between ACN and CPC. Dasuki was then in support of Buhari becoming the presidential candidate of the alliance.

“Sambo Dasuki was coming around, begging us, to support Buhari’s presidential aspiration. Nuhu Ribadu, whom we had earlier chosen as our presidential candidate in the ACN, said he was ready to step down for Buhari. He said when he accepted to run, he did not know that Buhari was also interested in running.”
