pejuhazel:

1) Biodata page of your current passport and any visa on it is fine. There was a discussion a while back about submitting old passports and I think the conclusion was stick with your recent to avoid confusion.
2) Fine
3) No need to include your transcripts, just merge your two ECA together with your IELTS TRF and submit in the placeholder for education.
4) Everything you have is fine.
5) Also fine
6) Fine
7) No need to submit bank statement since you have your fixed deposit certificate. I submitted just that and gift deed.
cool Take the dimensions to the studio.
9) Nothing else
You pay for your biometric fee at the point of submission, then about 60 days after you get a request to go do your biometrics.

Thanks

Hi Everybody,. i will need some input from the experts and from experienced hands.

hopefully this post will also be useful to those who are in the process of submitting their application post ITA.
I have to upload my documents soon

I will be mentioning all the documents which I plan to upload in each section.

Experts, Kindly reply to my questions. You can reply below or next to every question and re-post the post. Thanks in Advance.!!!!

1). Passports/Travel Documents (Multiple) (required)

Passport bio-data page only where my information are ,like age expiry date etc

Any other document to be submitted?
(Do i need to upload any previous expired passport that has a visa stamp which i have traveled out with in the past)?

what does" Multiple" denote?

2). Proof of medical exam (required)

Upfront medical test
Document/Form given by doctors to be submitted in this section only.

3). Education (diplomas/degrees) (required)

ECA from WES. degree
ECA from ICES. diploma

Degree certificate
Diploma certificate

Do i have to upload transcripts for each degree and diploma along with the ECA and Certificate?
Do i also, have to upload IELTS Test Report Form here as well?
i can"t find any other place holder for this, what other document is required here?

4). Employment Records (required)

Employment Letter
Promotion letter
Reference letter ( in CIC format signed by HR)

would have loved to add pay slips, but i realized they used a wrong job tittle in my payslip. However , i have since corrected it @ IPPIS office, but it would only reflect from last months pay slip.

Anything I don’t have to submit from above?
anything that i need to add to the above including the pay slip that i have concern about?

5). marriage (required)

Court Wedding certificate
Church Wedding certificate

Do i need to upload anything else?

6). Police Certificates (required)

Police clearance certificate
including all pages carrying finger print.

7). Proof of Means of Financial Support (required)

Required POF chilling in Account.
I intend to fix the POF for 3 to 6 months

i intend to UPLOAD
! fixed deposit certificate
!! Transfer slip from donor account to my Account
!!! Gift Deed notarized

What kind of other document should I ask from my bank?

Since i will fix the POF, and upload the FIXED DEPOSIT CERTIFICATE. is bank statement necessary also? i believe bank statement will no longer show the huge some as it has been fixed.how do i go about this?

cool. Digital photo (required)
i dont even know how to meet the requirement.
i guess i will visit a studio give them the requirement and get the soft copy from them.

9). Legal Name Change
News Paper Publication
Change of name Affidavit. ( did this one in immigration office will doing a new passport. carrying a high court stamp)

Do I need to add anything else ?

Note: My Major concern/doubt is section 3(Education) and Section 7 (proof of funds).

General Question
i understand i can pay the application fee alone and defer the RPRF till when IRCC requests for it.What i don't understand is the bio-metrics fee. and how its been done.

please , you don't have to answer all the questions if you don't know them all, you can quote only the part that interests you and reply.

Gratitude to all.

[quote author=Tjoy4eva post=78085117]It's PPR ladies and gentle men. All thanks to God Almighty.

My journey to cannyland started in 2016, wrote ielts but couldn't get the required scores. So I decided to seek for admission which I got in 2017 but was denied study visa thrice. In the process of applying to schools in US to study my desired course, we got nominated in 2018 by Saskatchewan, this pnp app was almost a year, done in 2017, so it came as a blessing.

Wrote ielts 2ce, spouse wrote after nomination because ielts was expired after nom.

Yes you need to fill all. Also attach an LOE to explain the time overlaps in your activity, this is not necessary if you don't want to. I did that cos my PH is quite complicated as my restless self did and is still doing too many activities all at once. I once read a PPR story here where the person was asked to provide LOE for time overlaps in personal history.

Thanks our LadyGeneral . LOE , like , I was studying part for a diploma or PGD program while I was working full time between so so and so time . thanks once more.

Congrats to all ppr clinchers . MAY CANADA FAVOUR

Please , while filling the application form post -ITa. in personal history

what kind of information do one need to fill in personal activity since d past 10years or till one turned 18.

for example , I started work in 2013 and working in d same firm till date .

also , I did a part time course in 2015/2017. should I also include that in d personal history ?

was jobless for two years prior to getting my present job , I guess I will have fill unemployed in time frame.

before then was nysc ,though not claiming points for it ,I guess I will fill in that too.

my major concern is d part where I did partime course , as it also same time I am working . do I need to fill dat too? or i can just ignore .

Please everyone I really appreciate your answers but am more confused now, some people said ICES will evaluates HND and OND as two or more certificates and some said IQAS is better, my friend doesn't want to go for WES for some reason. Please everyone what do you suggest, apart from WES, which other one will evaluate HND and OND as two or more certificates? Thank you

don't fret yourself lad , I am not sure ices will evaluate OND,HND as 2ormore with one as 3yrs. However , before you use them ,ensure you are absolutely certain that they will. as for WES, they are your friend's best bet. if the reason for not using WES is as a result of age discrepancy between WAEC and other qualifications. you might want to ask out here, if are solutions for that.

My mum was denied a UK visa some years back (only her, without the rest of the family), do I have to declare this? I've been ruminating since morning on any possible reason for rejection. Funny how this EE application makes you so insecure no matter the precautions you take pre-AOR grin

I don't get , will one also declare any visa refusals from extended family members ?

Ok. Thanks for the information. We have checked our best possible score with and current academic qualifications and highest band in ielts...it's 408.
If any of us commences an MSc program now by the time we finish, scores will reduce because age would have increased.

still new on this forum , but will try to contribute as little as I can cos I have gained here too.

my advice ,though, I stand to be corrected by the elders.

@ 37 and 36 , even with two or more certificate(cima, BS , or any other short diploma course) would get you both say most 436-441 range. which is obviously the best option for you both at this stage. However ,such CRS won't guarantee you ITA.

And running a masters program might set u back by 10points due to increase in age and what's guarantee, that EE will still be operational by then . Remember , Election is fast approaching. Let's hope that the Liberals remain in power.

would say, You guys should start your evaluation ASAP. Then prepare for ielts simultaneously ,you can enter pool with this and hope to get PNP invite .
while u start preparing for a diploma program that can help increase your CRS .which will help boast your chances under PNP route.

sponsor a younger family member(sibling) whose odds of getting ppr before December or early nect year , with that you are guaranteed another 15points. if you add it to your ielts +2or more cert. you might just get enough points to beat the cut off .

Why would a dependant add work experience

Work experience is only needed from PA. You have to produce evidence for any work experience you put under work history. Spouse work experience should be placed under personal history, therefore no documents required.

would'nt it be misrepresentation if one clicks no in work experience for spouse pre ITA and then, add the work experience for spouse in personal history post ITA

please, while getting reference letter, how do i go about the anual salary.

should i use the anual salary as at when employed or should i use the current anual salary.

employment letter carried my monthly salary. since then, i have been promoted once, and i have had an increament more than 7times,sometimes with very little difference.
should i state the anual salary as at when employed and and state current anual salary as well.

or will only current anual salary suffice.

[b]DECISION TO TRAVEL:

Surprisingly, as informative as I thought I was, I never heard about the express entry until March 2018. I just returned from the US after having my last baby and I was reluctant to return to work after maternity leave. Spoke to hubby about our future plans, particularly about our 1st daughter who was born in Nig, unlike the other 2. I then stumbled on this thread. NL had always been my go-to for info on travelling, my birthing trips to the US were successful partly thru 1st hand info on NL, I never used an agent for my trips. So when I saw that we can enter Canada legally without going to overstay in US on our B1/B2 visa as suggested to us by some folks, I started digging in. Coincidentally a friend turned Sis who I met on my 1st birthing trip to US, was about leaving for Canada and needed help with booking their AirBnB apartment with my dollar card. As if I needed a sign from God, that is how we started the journey o.

In short, I heard about Express entry for the 1st time in March 2018 and I saw that we were eligible.

IELTS:
With the CRS tool, we realized that hubby did not need to take the test. So I registered in April for the May 12th exam MOD IDP. I was still on maternity leave, so I had time to prepare, about 6 weeks for the exam.
As I had earlier posted, I used Baron for reading and writing. Also watched ieltsliz online for reading tips and writing. E2 Language with jay for speaking and writing. Listening was more on ieltsessential website and Baron. So IELTS result - LRWS - 8.5/9/7/8.5. First and only attempt and I am soo grateful for the tips I got on this forum. @smslive2, sent me the link to the 1st set of IELTS materials I got, thank you sir.

Some will recall the 12th May 2018 test conducted by MOD at Ogudu, it was a “bad day devil drink water”. My experience on the test day with MOD at its Lagos mainland centre was terrible but it ended in praise.

ECA:
Hubby and I are both lawyers and both have Masters from the same schools, so we resorted to WES. Applied with WES early April 2018 and got my ECA report – 11 June 2018, Hubby – 21 June 2018.
Little snag with hubby, WES in the process of evaluation requested for IJMB transcripts. We had to remove hubby's LLB from evaluation due to the incomplete transcript issue from Unilorin because he got admission with IJMB into 200 level and I didn't see any headway with getting IJMB transcripts. Thanks @fyorgn, for your response then.

POOL/ITA:
We created a profile on 22 June 2018 and got ITA 25 June 2018 with CRS at 451.

POF:
Gift Deed for 100% of POF deposited to my account 2 days before submission (AOR) by hubby. I also submitted letter from pension PFA and Pension statement. The pension was additional, as the gift deed alone covered the POF for family of 5. In submitting POF, I did a LOE with a table analyzing the attached documents and the page numbers. Attached documents were gift deed, transfer slip, bank statement, reference letter from PFA, Pension statement, reference letter and non-indebtedness letter from bank and screenshot of exchange rate from xe.com.

3 months post-AOR, I moved funds to T.bills and raised a CSE, uploading the evidence of POF and a LOE stating that I had moved my POF to t.bills but that it was still accessible. The initial 3months, was rolled over for another 3 months, thanks to the silence from AVO.

JOB REFERENCE:
I have worked with the same organization from 2013 to date, so I got just 1 letter and it was pretty easy. My office has a standard letter for Canada (it appears they have written for quite a few of us, lol). I attached 6 months payslip.

Hubby also submitted 2 reference letters, 1 from his previous employer and 1 from his current employer. He runs his own firm but got a Partner in his firm to write the reference letter.

MEDICALS:
Medicals done at Children’s practice. Nothing eventful, but I had to book ahead – about 3 weeks away.

PCC:
Obtained at Alagbon, 8k for both of us, cant recall the Inspector but not popular Moshood. we were done within 30 minutes.

POST AOR: The real gist grin
I joined like 3 groups for July AOR, one had a lot of Indians. When Pple started getting PPR all around and nothing was happening, I raised a CSE on the status of my application in Oct and I got to know that my file was at Accra, that day I cried. I was sad and depressed. I left all Canada-related whatsapp groups except the one for lawyers. For a long time I didn’t want to join the AVO group, when I eventually joined in Nov 2018, the stories were gloomy, no one had heard from AVO in months. I just knew it that village people were at work, lol.

Surprisingly, the AVO whatsapp group that I didn’t want to join became a beam of light to me. Talk of men and women of faith, I met them all, sharing hope. We were all told that Accra works only between Jan – March, so we were all hopeful for 2019 1st quarter.

Jan 2019 came and we were all hopeful, emails started trickling in, some interview, some ADR, then PPR small small, lol, like 2 or 3 per week or so. Jan ended and just less than 10% of the group had gotten PPR or interview dates. Feb came and we got some again then ADR rained in late Feb for quite a lot of us, you will hear ‘famous 5’ ADR.

I also got ADR on 25 Feb 2019 and I jumped for joy, one will think that we had gotten PPR. But in AVO, any news is good news for us and one person’s PPR or ADR is for us all to rejoice about. The following weekend, we went to retake our passport at Studio 24, thinking that PPR will come shortly after.

Lo and behold, March ended and it was complete silence from AVO.

I mailed Ralph in early Feb 2019 and he said Eligibility, criminality and security checks have not been initiated and that they cannot be expedited and timelines are not available. I just resorted to God. I read this thread daily and when I see PPR posts and I look at their timelines, I say a silent prayer to God to remember me and not put me to shame, Jehovah answered my prayers.

Back to the AVO whatsapp group, we had prayer and praise sessions via conference call, and I must confess, I felt lighter after those sessions with assurances that God had not forgotten or forsaken us at AVO.

On 29 March 2019, I requested for another GCMS notes, when Ralph refused to reply me again. Meanwhile folks on the group were getting updates from Ralph such as Eligibility passed, criminality and security not yet started etc. I raised another CSE on 30 March 2019 and got a response on 2 April 2019 that my eligibility was under review. Ralph later replied on 3 April 2019 that I should contact him in May 2019, meaning that He wont provide any update on my file until 3 months after the last update he sent to me. I just resorted to my faith – He will never leave me nor forsake me.

Did i mention that my 1st GCMS note was all good, no cause for alarm, and yet I was sent to AVO, not because my application had K leg but because AVO is also a VO.........

PPR:
I do check my profile anytime there is an update on the group. No profile update, no ghost update nothing. Then folks started posting PPR on the group at about 10 am or so today again, same as yesterday, we got about 4 PPR. I was not at work, been travelling lately and wanted to stay indoors today. Later decided to go to the Cinema with my 1st daughter, since she was also at home. When the 4th person announced PPR on the group today, I said a silent prayer again that God should remember me. I was not concentrating on the movie because it was cartoon.
Brethren, I immediately got an email to check my profile. Tears started dropping from my eyes, thank God the Cinema hall was dark. I opened my profile on my phone to see a request letter, thinking it was another ADR, I downloaded to see the PPR. Praise the Lordddddddddddddddddd.
After 8 months and 8 days, it has ended in praise.

I want to thank everyone for the selfless contributions to the thread. The information on this thread is massive, even though I joined in maybe part 3 or 4 not sure anymore.

Did I say that we didn’t finish the movie, lol. My daughter couldn’t understand the emergency that made mummy run like that.

touching, congrats

Below is the format. If both letters have those details, then you are safe uploading them alone.

"a reference or experience letter from the employer, which

should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company),
should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits; "

However, it may also make sense to prepare for a scenario in which you get an ADR for payslips. You can ask the cash paying company for a salary certificate.

Good evening house,

to beging with, i want to appreciate the effort that everyone is putting to ensure that peoples dream becomes a reality.

i was once a semi full member in this forum, but when things became a lil difficult, i had to go back to the drawing board.

was gonna Be the primary applicant but, age and increase in crs resulted in spouse been the primary applicant. Fast forward last week she cleared ielts with clb 9.

pls i would need the help of the Elders, the proffs and anyone who has any info on the few questions that i might need help with.

My question is this. will i need to get my Original degree certificate post ITA, or can i use statement of result since am not the PA. getting original certifcate from school will set me back by 50k and am trying to avoid such expenses unless its very important to include the original.

thanks in advance
