Mujtahida:
That's what these foolish coaches always do. They'd experiment something and it will work in a friendly but you will never see them try it out on a proper match day.

Rohr boldly used 3-5-2 to wreck Argentina in that famous friendly where we came from 2-0 and eventually worn prior to the 2018 World Cup. When the tournament proper came, the man stuck to his limp method and we were beaten by Croatia and Argentina.
I just tire bro. I'm very angry here.

The invitational tourney in England provided us with an avenue to improvise and look for solutions to our creativity problem, you tried out Chukwueze and it was a success, then suddenly you relegated him to the bench for some clueless Simon that can neither complete a take-on nor make a single decent cross to save his life? Aswear this Chelle na confirm tozo.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by ChrisKels: 5:39pm On Oct 10, 2025
Why are we playing Simon on the right when Chukwueze is on the team and the team is lacking creativity. A swear this coach is beginning to annoy me.

Maybe it is delusion due to patriotism but I keep having this feeling that Nigeria will eventually emerge as the winners of this our group.

Always add Bassey and Aina when mentioning Osimhen and Lookman
Na Aina own pain me pass sef. I was very angry when Rohr dropped him in 2018.

Bassey is still 24

Bold of us to think that if Nigeria goes the best loser route, the guys are capable of defeating other best losers from other continents to qualify.

I'm really pained because of guys like Osimhen, Aina and Lookman, but my confidence in this team is zero.

It is not a lie. We commended Fred and Abel Ogwuche during the tournament but afterwards, what happened? How many more mentions of them by these same folks who watched them?

How many times did you guys run the hype on Frederick post-tournament? Tell me? How many times? How many times was he touted by many here as a truly defensive pearl for the future even after we crashed out?

I talked up Frederick everywhere and my posts on TwitterX are still there if anyone browse the name "Benjamin Frederick".

A few of us actually do the due diligence of following up on these youngsters and not only remembering them when we have a tournament.

Or is it not you who comes asking where is this player or that player??

It is easy to take the criticism role or start talking which regions has the ballers. I will never go that route. It is so cheap.
We see talents and we RECOGNIZE talents, not everyone is interested in following the talents post tournament. Did we recognize their talents? Yes we did. Today, my pick is Ochoche, and I hope he comes good.

TheSuperNerd:
A few years from now, one or two from this same set will emerge and and most monikers here will be amnesiac by then to recall when they called each and everyone of them rubbish.

The trend on this thread is the same every time.

A youth team starts doing well and everyone rushes in claiming to have a good knowledge of the team but the moment they falter, they go mute.

A team does well, and everyone knows every player and calls all talents.

But a team does not do well and the whole team is condemned.

This is how Benjamin Frederick was not taken so seriously on this thread until 2 yrs on, he got a Super Eagles call up and then everyone is taking notice.

I believe in seeing the talent before others catch on.

#FlyingEagles2025.
That's a big fat lie. Fredrick was always rated as the shining light in our defense along with the other boy from Benue State.

Once any list is made and I don't see majority SE and SS(Edo and Delta precisely) names, then SW and a sprinkle of boys from Benue and Jos I don't get my hopes high.

No disrespect to the ones from North, but I know where our football talents are.

The only person that looks like a footballer in this team is the right back, Ochoche. Every other person in this team is crap

I was always hearing Kparobo-Kparobo and how he was the best thing since Osimhen, I had to make out time to watch him once, and I was so disappointed. Once, he was named as the striker for this tourney I knew the coach was not serious.

I just don't rate this Kparobo striker despite his records.

Akinyele is giving me some Eric Bailey vibes.

Hmmm Tolu go suffer for this team oo, or is Newcastle just too good for Wolves? Our boy isn't getting any services as Newcastle has denied Wolves from having any meaningful touch of the ball.

Uche who just recently started playing in a good pitch should be in this match not Bashiru who was trained at Mancity
