Eventhough I would have loved the DRC to go through because they have a better team than us, and they totally showed it when we met them, I still have to accept that the rules bend for no one.

Tobias Okikiola Lawal and Kingsley Ehizibue are two players I loved, but we missed out on both due to same rules, Austria and Nederlands respectively, so I have to cherish it now that the rules are gonna work in our own favour too.

There is something I saw in their eyes that made me sad. It was the same thing during the last Afcon final. I cant say that they gave up. It was more than that. They were afraid and Congo sensed it and began to play them like kids. our players became small. They lost their ginger, they lost their swagger. At 1-1 ooo. What if it was 2-0 like Falcons. Remember our match against SA when they first scored us. We fought back but this one, they just collapsed. Its awful. That thing needs to be addressed.

But for that fear, I don't think Congo will beat us again if we meet them.

Nwanne we don't deserve to go to the world cup. Congo showed hunger, and they have a better team and better players. Congo beat us hands down in the pitch, so FIFA should let them go. Naija should try again in 2030.

My feelings for them died the day they were clobbered by the DRC. Lol I didn't even know there will be an AFCON this month.

I pray they get kicked out in the group stage, to save Osimhen the unnecessary stress.

I'm glad Maduka isn't going to the AFCON. I never wanted him to go after being away for weeks for a ban. He needs to be with his club and help them survive.

If I had my way, I would use home based players for this AFCON. Yea, that's how inconsequential this year's AFCON is to me.
