then why haven’t any of the coaches recently dump him for onyedika?
Dikachi is technically better than both Ndidi and Onyeka, but Ndidi is better at shielding the defense. Onyeka has more lungs than both but less technical than Dikachi and not a better shield than Ndidi. If I had my way, I would always play Ndidi or Onyeka as shield while Dikachi takes CM. Iwobi should be shifted to the LW where he has been unplayable for Fulham.

"Iwobi's attitude and work ethic for club and country has been nothing but exemplary.

At 29 and with a durable body, he could do another 200 games before calling it a day."

Between Charlesemeka and MkpuOgaliga one person will be upset with this news.

I'm of the opinion that we approach Kayode of Brentford. If he turns us down, he turns us down. We have no deputy for Aina. Osayi is a big down grade.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by ChrisKels: 3:40pm On Oct 23, 2025
Add to that list, Finidi and Amunike.

Aswear to Amadioha, this Osimhen situation dey pain me.

I'm not pro-foreign born players, but I wouldn't mind approaching Ugochukwu, Chukwuemeka, Chukwuani and Iroegbu just for Osimhen. He needs a great midfield and of course crazy wingers like Finidi and Amunike to support him. The boy has suffered too much for us.

Like someone rightly said, our defensive depth is so poor. Zaidu is an average left back but he is way better than Bruno. Bruno is very poor. I have seen Agụ play, I was not impressed. I wonder why our coach doesn't want to give Torunarigha a chance in that left back.

Another very poor defender we have is Osayi Samuel. I think our coach should try talking to Kayode of Brentford.

By the way, those of you who have been following Besiktas games, how good has been Uduokhai? He would not be a bad short-term back up to Bassey.

There is a certain Femi Azeez at Millwall that I'm interested in. A left footed winger that is able to shoot well with his right foot.

Really!? Where were you when I said Dele Ali was better than Iwobi even when e was nobody in Tottenham?

Where were you when I said Lookman was better than she Chuks or one player like that those days? What are seeing today?

Where were you when I said Oliseh was world class player and better than all our players combined when he was still an academy player? What are we seeing today?

Where were you when I said Eze was a top class player when he was nobody with Onomah (although I also said he was a very good player but the boy fall hand)? Today you can see with your eyes.

Where were you when I said Kelechi Nwakali with his style wasn't good enough? But then you and others fought me nail and tooth.

When all of you said Awoniyi can never make it in football when he was in second division, I was the only one that had a different view.

I could remember when Aina was dropped for the World, you said he wasn't good enough but today we can see with our eyes.

I use my eyes and data to analyze players before sticking my head for them. Unlike you that can never point out one player your vouched for that eventually became successful.

I could still remember Iheancho and Solanke debate but today we can see with our eyes.
You said Dele Alli was better, now in your own words "what are you seeing today?" Can Dele Alli come any close to Iwobi's numbers today?

We never had any debate about Chuks and Ademola because they never contested for same positions. The only comparison was Chuks and Saka. Stop lying.

Here are the list of guys you rated;

Abdul Ajagun, Olanrewaju Kayode, Joel Asoro, Josh Maja etc.

There was never a debate regarding Solanke and Iheanacho, rather you and the joke of a boy called Komekn were insulting Osimhen and calling him crap and you both jointly stated that Solanke was better and that Solanke has moved to Liverpool to chase away Origi and send Origi to Wolfsburg to demote Osimhen to the feeder team from Wolfsburg bench. Today what's happening?

You also rated Awoniyi ahead of Osimhen. Like I said the other day, if Awoniyi was the one scoring these goals that Onuachu is scoring in Turkey, you would have been here once again doing your things as usual. We know you too well my boy.

I love your analysis with exceptions of NWABALI, OSAYI AND AWAZIEM ON THE BASIS OF PERFORMANCES IN THEIR LAST 4 NATIONAL TEAM AND CLUBSIDE INPUT.
EJUKE MIGHT BE AN UNKNOWN ACE UP OUR SLEEVES FOR BETTER SPLIT ACCURATE PASSES TO DELIVER GOALS.
Lol this is the wrong time to change a goalkeeper. Psych up Nwabali and we are good. If we qualify, then during the scrimmages or world cup preparations you introduce Okoye.

Osayi though clueless will do better in the RB position than the now very slow Ekong would as a CB.

Unless I'm playing 3 at the back, Ekong won't start for me.

My probable line up against Gabon if the players are invited

Gk Maduka Okoye
Df Benjamin Fredrick
Df William Troost Ekong
Df Calvin Bassey
Df Zaidu Sanusi
Mf Fred Onyeka or Raphael Onyedika
Mf Chidera Ejuke
Mf Fisayo D.Bashiru
Fw Samuel Chukwueze
Fw Victor Osimhen
Fw Jerome Akor Adams

I believe Gabon can be beaten with this or 75% of this as starting lineup by 3 or 4 goals margin.
Nwabali ahead of Okoye who just came back from a ban

Keep Ekong away from the team. Play Bassey and Frederick.

Give the RB position to Osayi or Awaziem - I don't rate either of them though.

Ejuke plays football like a secondary school boy. Discard him for Lookman and warn Lookman sternly to stop trying to be the hero.

Dele Bashiru goes to the Bench for Iwobi.

If Lookman fails to heed to the advice, pull him out after the first 45minutes and push Iwobi to the left and introduce Bashiru.

Allow Chuks to roam between RW and AM

Morocco's only plan is to reap where they did not sow. Convince Foreign Born players to play for them from age grade to National team level.
Reaping where they didn't sow yet you ended up contradicting yourself with the bolded?

Getting talents from their offshore banks and nurturing the players through their age grade system is the total opposite of reaping where one didn't sow.

Your country waits until the other countries build the players completely, then pounce like criminals.

Victor Obinna Nsofor and Victor Anichebe.

There has been more Uches than Victors though.

Besides the name "Victor", it seems the name "Uche" has appeared the most in eagles shirt.

Uche Okechukwu
Uche Okafor

Ikechukwu Uche
Uche Agbo Henry
Uche Nwofor
Uche Chrisantus
Henry Uche
Michael Uchebo.

What do you think about Awaziem being invited at least to cover RB?

He was decent in that position at the 2019 AFCON admittedly that was a long time ago.

I hear Olisa Ndah is back to fitness but the coaching crew might not want to take a risk on him.
I don't rate Awaziem highly but you are right, he can be a cover in that position. I have even totally forgotten about that one.

BTW, I suspect he was the player that was alleged to have rejected an invite because he was angry that he wasn't featured against Rwanda and SA.

I say Onyeka but peeps here say Ndidi is better than him. Frank carried the full burden of defending from our midfield during the last Afcon and he was awesome - energetic and mobile.
Onyeka hasn't been giving us that display since the AfCoN ended. He was so poor in his last 4 games. The bulala 3 days ago was just a redemption.

It seems Onyedika, FDB, Osayi and Okoye would be the only players to come back to the team from the list that didn't partake in this window.

We need a right back so that Fredrick can move back to partner Bassey in the CB. I don't trust Osayi, neither do I trust Ekong anymore.

Agu and Aina are out till next year.

This is the kind of humiliation some people want us to subject ourselves to because of some craps that have been rejected by England and co.

We pray, hope and believe so. However if he doesn't, Akor Adams and Ademola Lookman would fit in. Tolu still needs time to gel with the team and I believe he will have a good AFCON if makes the cut. Gift Orban (The Tiv/Togolese) of Hellas Verona has been consistent over the years in all the clubs he played for and should be given a call-up. We want a situation where a suitable backup is readily available for all positions.
Thanks man but I don't rate Orban. I'm not even sure he's been totally cleared to represent Nigeria.
