TheLoneCitizen:
Asamoah Gyan on Victor Osimhen's injury;

"I know these tricks. Someone told Osimhen, 'Look, we've spent a lot of money on you. The Champions League is coming up, we don't like you going to Africa, but go there, play a bit, then get injured, lie on the ground, and act like it's serious. The next day, you'll be in Turkey.'

You'll see Osimhen running fresh in the Turkish Super Lig and the Champions League. No matter how many times he's kicked there, he won't stay down on the ground. The doctors are in on it too! The euro is more valuable currency than the naira!"
What a very stvpid thing to say, and having the temerity to share such ridiculous post here is even more stvpid

I'm not saying we won't beat South Africa on Tuesday, but this one na lie. We played without Osimhen for 75% of the total games we've played so far and scored only FOUR goals, winning NONE of those matches - South Africa inclusive.

So this one na cap.
In a bid to water down my point, you ended up agreeing with me 💯.

We were incapacitated in the absence of Osimhen because we over rely on Osimhen to get us goals.

What that simply means, is that our over reliance on Osimhen renders the team almost useless when there is no Osimhen. We need to learn to vary things so that we don't win only when Osimhen is around. The team should learn to bear the goal scoring burden both in the presence and absence of Osimhen. They should stop putting the whole goal scoring burden on Osimhen. Don't you get the point?

Once again, our over reliance on Osimhen limits the team, and I'm already seeing signs that Chelle has noticed that and working on it.

I need a team where we would be having about 3 different names in the score sheet on a match day, not a team where once Osimhen is caged, the team becomes impotent.

If it wasn't for Good reasons, would we be "over-dependent" on him as you claimed?

The guy earned his "over-dependence" abeg
This is what you understood that post to mean? What do you think "over-dependence" mean?

You need help, but unfortunately, I can't help you.

Like he's scored two goals in one and half games 😂

I too believe this guy. Even when people dey bash am here in his first two games, I was like shey na only me here dey see wetin I dey see?

Even as he no score, his movements, link up play, touches, positioning showed glaringly that he's different from the people you mentioned above. Thank God believers don dey add for the TEA ministry.
I never rated him sha, eventhough the first time I watched him in a youth tourney in SA I felt there was a talent in there but he was an ajibo, so I never expected him to really make it.

Aswear na "morale high" dey put the guy ahead of others. He has this "no shaking" spirit. He acts like a bully always trying to put fear in the strikers facing him.

I still blame him for our loss against CIV in that AFCON final. For what reason was he even picking fights with Adingra? Was he trying to intimidate the boy or what? Then, when we went 1goal up he started being childish. I don't know if it is arrogance or his own way of handling pressure, but I just think it is silly.

You would never see such from Enyeama even if we were 5 goals up.

Na 4-3-3.

Aina was an RB, Simon RW, but he was drifting to the left too much, leaving only Aina on that wing.
For once Simon was never found anywhere near the RW. The RW was always empty. Was that a tactical input or was Simon playing like a headless fowl? grin

What formation did we play yesterday because I don't understand why Aina was used as a RWB rather than a RB?

Nwabali has started the same rubbish he did with Adingra. Picking unnecessary fight in order to lose focus.

Another win today is the collapse of Geuhi's move to Liverpool. I was not happy when I read that he was leaving after Uche joined. Uche will be needing his services behind. A good defense is confidence booster for midfield and attack.

Galatasaray is not joking oo. After sealing Gundogan's deal, they are on the verge of sealing Lookman and Calhanoglu's too.
