Yes... He was approached. But he will keep featuring for the English Youth sides.....

England have eyes for him too but it's looking likely Nigeria will grab him eventually in the long run.

But I can tell you that contact have been made. Tammy Abraham is now on our radar officially. smiley
If Pinnick succeeds in bringing that boy home, then it could be one good thing, just one good thing he ever did for Nigerian football. I read that Tammy's father is Pinnick's bosom friend. They grew up together in Warri just like iwobi and akpom grew up together at Hale End Academy. They are more like brothers from different parents and Pinnick said Tammy is like a son to him. He said Tammy is secured already that when we are ready(not when Tammy is ready), his papers wll be processed.

I wanna see him battle for a starting shirt with Osimhen next year. The era of misfiring strikers(I no call names o) is coming to an abrupt end.

Players that might debut for Eagles next year include ; Musa Yahaya, Ovie Ejaria, Chidozie Awaziem, Victor Osimhen, Orji Okonkwo, the Nwakali brothers and of course Tammy Abraham.

Awua of intermilan, Nuru of Roma, Olumola of SOTON, forgiveness' Tyrone of Denhag are also waxing strong. IMO

It was the Cadiz, they even tried to sign him after.
Cardiz couldn't meet his salary demand. They offered him a monthly salary that is below the 800,000naira he earns monthly at FC IFEANYI UBA that was why negotiations broke down. Athletico could, hence they hijacked the deal and he has already signed a preliminary contract.

     Introducing Nwokolor, Young Nigerian Goalkepper Who Is A Regular For Top European Side Nigeria By owngoaladmin
In an era where African goalkepper find it hard to make hay in European teams, 20 year old Nigerian David Nwokolor is making waves with top division Bosnian side Vitez. The Port Harcourt born shot stopper joined Croatian side HNK Rijeka, three seasons ago from Football Academy of Abuja, after impressing at a youth tournament in Croatia. Same season he joined the team, he rose to the rank of second choice goalkepper before heading out on loan to second division league side NK Sibenik last season , where he made 15 appearance for the team that narrowly missed out on promotion to the top flight. He returned back to Rijeka this summer, but was loaned out to Bosnian side Vitez where he has successfully displaced the first choice goalkepper and has now kept goal in their last five games. Nwokolor has three clean sheets in the five games he has been between the sticks for 9th placed Vitez, after 11 league games in Bosnia. Presently he is the only Nigerian born goalkeeper within the age of 20 based in Europe who is a regular for a top flight team, with only Vincent Enyeama and Carl Ikeme ahead of him in terms of experience in top flight games among active Nigerian goalkeppers presently in Europe.      By owngoaladmin

That is one very big myth. Show me a clip of Park Sung close to Messi.

A Youtube clip can at best show the best you can get from a player. A Youtube clip does not add extra ability.
YouTube clips are like miniskirts, they don't show u everything. U get to see the good side of a player, but the bad side??

He was awesome in the invitational tourney and was the MOTM in their match against athletico Madrid. When he was substituted, he had a standing ovation from the athletico fans and management board. I watched it live.

It is known around the globe that South American players especially Brazilians have the worst attitudes. Who clubs more than the Brazilians??

I was with Chigozie Obasi sometime ago and I must say he is the typical example of African players with bad attitude but u can't just generalize it. Boy eats kitten like food, takes tramadol like hell. His lifestyle just has nothing to write home about. We have lost that talent to bad attitude. I still remember his long range against Iraq though.

Sir Icons, sir goodjoe please the call by sirforgiveness to extend an invitation to Brian isn't a bad call, our RB needs urgent attention we can't continue with makeshifts. I had envisioned Iorfa taking that role but his father with his politics remains a stumbling block. I pray Mikel convinces Aina and Odubajo pledges his allegiance.

Madu against mahrez na death sentence.. If Echijiele has a good day, he can match mahrez but his lack of game time at club level does not help matters.
Not when he gives him a *chingum* marking. Dey would wanna do a Leicester on us where by mahrez supplies slimani with the crosses to score. Luke Shaw went the *chingum* way to sniff out that threat against ManU. U don't dribble Madu as easily as u do Echiejile.

They can still exploit that RB knowing fully well that it is our major weakness and we'll likely field a make-shift player there. Who ever plays that RB may nt matter to them cos it will still likely be a weak link.

There attack will be more on that side. Rohr may as well instruct the RWF to do enough to provide first cover for the RB when under attack.

I fancy Omeruo a lot to play that RB as he is a very good marker and stopper.
Oga m, ur second paragraph is the reason I wanna see V. Moses start our next match, recall he won TMTM in Chelsea's last match when he was deployed as a right wing back and his attacking instinct wasn't affected, rather it provided him with his much cherished duels (the Ono on one duels) against the opposition's left full back. He would help omerou capsize the threat mahrez poses whilst running at their full back to carve them out and open.

I would rather Omeruo as RFB and Balogun as CB than the reverse. I would pick Amuzie and Madu ahead of Echiejile to check Mahrez.

our game is going as planned.

Get a win against Zambia away in the first match as this will force them to tighten up in subsequent games at home, hence, helping us beat both Cameroun and Algerian at Ndola.

Win all our home games, and get another win or draw in Yaounde or Blida since the first match against Cameron and Algeria ended in a draw, then we are as good as qualified.

That’s the plan and it is working out. Up Eagles

First, the news is a rumour and I was sad at how quickly I saw people tore into the young man without even asking how true the story is. It was not until I wrote of my reservation of the accusation that those antagonistic to him started using the clause "If it is true" in their comments. It shows some are nursing hatred for the man beforehand.

Second, Success should not be blamed AT ALL. If anyone has anything to say, let it all be directed to the NFF. It is this attitude of asking players to 'sacrifice' that has held us back for so long. How far would we have gone in the Olympics if instead of asking Siasia to sacrifice, we had put fire on the clueless Pinnick? Look at the World Cup, with the little support Keshi got, look what he did. What would have happened if instead of looking for his faults, we had taken swipe at the Federation.

I for one, will actively support it if all players refuse to fly until their monies are paid. I know some people here will blame them and call them unpatriotic while leaving the old-for-nothing men at the NFF alone. That's why we are where we are, not just in our football but in all areas of our national life. We accept a few lording it over the rest, and exalt mediocrity.

I repeat, sacrifice is not telling someone that is being cheated to accept being cheated. By doing that, you ACTIVELY encourage corruption on the part of the cheat.
It is not just a rumor but a false one. Though sir Joe is making sense as well as every other person, my anger is the way Success got torn to shreds without looking deeply to know the truth before the bashing.

Alex Iwobi was all smiles with Manchester
City striker Kelechi Iheanacho ahead of
Nigeria’s 3-0 win against a local team ahead
of their next World Cup qualifier against
Zambia.

The Arsenal midfielder has been in excellent form for Arsene Wenger’s side in recent weeks and he scooped the man of the match award for his performance in a 3-0 win against Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium last month.

The 20-year-old has made three assists in five
Premier League games so far and the Gunners
reside in third place in the table behind
Iheanacho’s City and north London rivals
Tottenham Hotspur.

The Nigerian striker has scored two goals and has made three assists in five Premier League starts despite being behind Argentina international, Sergio Aguero in the pecking order at The Etihad.

And Iheanacho appeared to be in good form with Iwobi as the Premier League pair posed for a selfie with another Nigerian team-mate ahead of their 3-0 win in a friendly ahead of their trip to Zambia on Sunday night.

Iwobi posted the above photo and wrote on his
Instagram page:

“Matchday Selfie Against The Local Side Today

Would we have won the Olympics if Mikel, Ekong and co. Sat down to apportion blames? 80% chose to pay for their tickets. That is a very high percentage of devoted players.

This is a World Cup qualifiers. If it is too much burden for the other 20%, then sorry for disturbing them.
Thanks sir, but that's not normal. It is absurd. We all have our responsibilities cut out... This is the sole responsibility of the NFF. It is in no way incumbent on the players to buy their flight tickets. The Olympic issue is a show of shame from the NFF because they relented and are still relenting on their responsibility. If u knw u ain't capable, y assume the mantle? What tangible thing has this administration achieved ever since they got into power? They can't do their job yet they wanna impose it on the players. Let them resign if they see the work as too demanding. They should be ashamed of themselves that the players funded themselves at the Olympic and at the end they came out to take the glory. Bunch of lazy fucktards. Pinnick is killing our game, the truth must be told.

The way we make absurdity equal normalcy is beyond comprehension. Is it the responsibilities of players to buy their own tickets? We are being told that Lawmakers have joined some NFF officials to travel to Ndola, yet the same people cannot pay for the player's flight from his base.

The way we reason sometimes. So because Mikel and others bought their own tickets means it is the right thing to do and thus the international career of Success who refused should be finished?

Success didn't fall your hand, it's the NFF that has falled your hand.

If u wanna blame somebody here, it should be the NFF not any of the players. It is their hard earned money, they do with it whatever that please them. My dear oo...!!

By the way, what would be your line up in Ndola after injuries have forced us to reshuffle? I would want Nacho to be cutting in from the RW, and Moses Simon LW, I would rather Iwobi started behind Ideye as the AMF and Mikel as CMF, would have loved a double pivot ( Ndidi and Onazi) because the Zambians are full of PACE but but due to Mikel's experience and influence both on and off the field, I would play Onazi as the only DMF if he wouldn't be running "upandan" while Ndidi benches. Then Omeruo would partner Ekong while Mohammed and Echiejile start from the right and left respectively. Ikeme man's the post.

I chose Ideye because he is a hustler upfront and can help destabilize the defense of the Zambians, allowing Iwobi and Nacho to pounce. I would like him an unsung hero. While the striking burdens be left on Simon, Iwobi and Nacho. Ideye can do well aerially.

Don't forget Iwobi shoots well, and with precision. Moses shoots well too. I just need all our strikers playing because a win away in the tough turf of Ndola will be a good way to start. Chances might be few.

The argument wasn't that bad earlier but yet, was headed for disaster. If we were really that sensitive, we would understand that it has gone beyond "just an argument" to bashing a player for another just to prove a point. U pointed this out some time in one of ur posts, I expected some people to see that, perhaps they weren't that sensitive or maybe they were but chose to turn a blind eye for reasons best known to them.

Sometimes u just have to let people believe what they want, it doesn't make u a weakling neither does it change the records. It is hard to see people peddle lies, and pretend u didn't see it though, but when u must av given ur corrections and they remain obstinate, let them dwell in their lies due to the saying "whatever that rocks ur ship but doesn't sink mine".
