This formation wears out our players because of JPez’s rigidity, and I hope it doesn’t come back to bite us. With the caliber of players on our bench, a player like Osimhen who was visibly tired had no business being on that pitch past the 70th minute mark. |

Daninya33: One of Angolan star player,Ben Mukendi has left the team camp and has returned to his club side in Portugal. He was complaining of not getting enough game time in the tournament. He is not one of their star players. He is to Angola what Nathan Douala is to Cameroon. He has not seen the even a single minute in this AFCON and he is just 21. So plus or minus him, the Angolan ship go still dey sail until we sink am tomorrow |

charlesemeka85: Why no one in this forum dey talk about the mali team in this afcon
Those guys sabi ball ooooo Mali is a good team that I’m tipping to beat CIV, but there is no point discussing them now when they aren’t in our path to the final. We have Angola to worry about, if we pass that huddle, then CV or SA. It is a step at a time. |

mostob: Iwobi ain't that soft o. Baba no just dey gree use muscle ni. Wait and hold the ball small and when opponent reach, nack am better muscle... Iwobi go don quickly release one wicked pass. That “wait and knack”is Etebo football and I don’t want that. That is unnecessary gara-gara. What I mean is some intelligent physical bullying the way Keshi, Amokachi, Uche Okechukwu etc were doing it back then. Intense hustle(muscle) and speed. As in, put body for ball. Give them war. |

BankyGee: Walahi 🤣 Sotey even bench been wan de@d that guy wey elbow Osimhen 🤣 The thing dey sweet me, and this is how I want us to approach every match. Bully the hell out of your opponents. This is how Ghana plays against us. They are always ready to send a player to the hospital. One player who is naturally that rugged against our opponents is Awaziem. |

One thing wey dey sweet my bele about this AFCON is the fact that Nigeria doesn’t play soft anymore. Omo the way we play with muscle these days like an EPL side dey sweet me. Imagine us bullying Ivory Coast and Cameroon in muscle plays. Even Semi Ajayi sef dun dey brutal with tackles and aerial battles. Na only Iwobi wey dey soft, others are ready to unalive an opponent 😂🤣😂🤣 |

bisqit: between north and central Africa. Olodo The real olodo in here is actually you. Africa is divide into 5 subdivisions, geopolitically, which are north, south, east, west and central. Central apart, anyone found between two regions gets placed or ceded to a particular region, hence the non existence of the south East, south west, north east, north west etc. Geographically, Mauritanian can be located in the north western part of Africa, which means, they lie in between West Africa and North African but they are geopolitically recognized as a West African state not NorthWest African, same is also applicable to Tchad ceded to Central Africa. |

safarigirl: . I no make any mistake, DR Congo is the 1 central Africa I mentioned. They are not part of the 5 West African countries.
Mauritania is in North West Africa.
Shares a border with Mali and Algeria. Might be more West than North because dem dey ECOWAS They are part of the West African states geographical/geopolitically but they aren't no ECOWAS member state. They left. |

Barryseal: I've been studying the profile of the Angolan coach Pedro Goncalves. He's looking like the next Havre Renard. Here me out
He comes from the rich Sportin Lisbon lineage where worked as a scout and youth team coach. Trained some of the best young talents in world football like Bruma, Jao Mario, Eric Dier and Rafael Leao. At some point he was close to convincing Leao to play for Angola.
He worked his way up the ladder at Angola from an academy to U17 then U20s/23/Chan and now main team. He has successfully brought to fore a new generation of Angola players while instilling a fantastic style of play which we have witnessed. 6 of his U17 boys are in this AFCON.
His contract ends soon and he's obviously not renewing. At 47, I feel he's the ideal candidate to replace Peseiro, who could leave post Afcon. Young Portuguese coaches are very much in vogue. There are many of them working behind the scenes at Arsenal and Man city and Liverpool are hustling to get on in Ruben Amorin. He should renew his contract with Angola |

In case of any injury to Osimhen, can we really rely on Onuachu to lead the lines because it seems the only role he comes in to play is to help see off a match(time wasting) and not to score goals. |
