TheSuperNerd: Osimhen has come up against some of Africa's finest young and experienced CBs and won everytime.
Ousmane Diomande (Sporting CP), Evan Ndicka (Roma), Christopher Wooh (Rennes), Jean Charles Castelletto (Nantes).
Ousmane Diomande is easily the best Young CB from Africa in Europe but he met Osimhen and got destroyed. I was actually tipping Diomande and Ndicka to emerge as the best CB combo on the tournament but they have disappointed. |

COOL10: Well, that's football for you. Mistakes are bound to happen, despite one's best efforts. We can only thank God that we weren't on the receiving side of such a mistake.
I love how he shook hands with Onyeka, after the match. That's some good sportsmanship right there. Yea, you are right. |

Starboytwo: Currently seeing the recap.
Mehn the true test of a central defender is when you come up against Osimhen.
Man will bring it to you so much you will work for that big salary and bonuses... He tore apart the Camerounian defense, especially Christoph Wooh and Gonzalez. Both became overly jittery at the sight of him and started committing errors |

charlesemeka85: if we happen to meet them Osimhen go hustle Koulibaly well well 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Osimhen is mastering the art of committing defenders to win a penalty and the Senegalese defense isn't well disciplined. |

COOL10: The guy be like fridge wey stand gidigba for ground I felt for him when he gave away the corner kick that resulted to what would have been our first goal. I had to caution myself to stop feeling pity for my enemies, but I really felt for the guy, especially when he was trying to defend the goal with his life. |

I would love for CIV to knock out Senegal though.
It will leave the tournament open for all.
The way these senegalese dey move ehn. W be things Senegal's defense is shaky. I have never rated that Koulibaly guy even in his peak. |

lbrichman2: I think JPes understands that and he's mostly there for his defensive solidity anyway Yea you are right, but if we had Torunarigha in this team, I would have him sharing positions(LCB/LB/LWB) with Bassey while Zaidu sits it out. |

The worst in that midfield is kessie, dude is so washed that I couldn’t believe my eyes during their first game with Guinea 🇬🇳
He looked heavy, slow and unfit unlike the kessie I use to knw at Atalanta and Milan few seasons ago Lol no wahala. |

TheSuperNerd: Already explained through the GoodJoe who was kind enough to bring my reply here. I appreciate him for that. My schedule sef shock me.
When I saw us in the first game, I was like... Peseiro is doing something different. Finally listening. Finally playing a 3 man midfield.
Then when I saw the next game vs CIV with Alhassan out and JPes went 343, I knew that is the formation we would be using going forward.
The perfect formation to utilise the personnels of this team. Yea you are right. Let's see how it goes with Angola on Friday |

In years to come, people like Kog45 will go online to write that they are disappointed in Osimhen that he was only able to score a goal in the AfCon tournament. They will totally forget every effort he made because to them, as a striker, all your efforts are in vain if you don't score. It doesn't matter if you win.
The kinda disrespect that guy gives Kanu is quite funny. What Osimhen did today brutally was what Kanu did in 2004 and it was finished by Utaka. |

ChrisKels: Remove Osimhen and our attack would lose that fear factor. There is more to a top striker than scoring a goal. Osimhen is that striker that makes defenders jittery and overly cautious, which in turn makes them susceptible to committing errors as were the cases against Ivory Coast and today against G.Bissau Lol where are those viewing station boys that were vomiting the day I made this post? |
