The real olodo in here is actually you. Africa is divide into 5 subdivisions, geopolitically, which are north, south, east, west and central. Central apart, anyone found between two regions gets placed or ceded to a particular region, hence the non existence of the south East, south west, north east, north west etc. Geographically, Mauritanian can be located in the north western part of Africa, which means, they lie in between West Africa and North African but they are geopolitically recognized as a West African state not NorthWest African, same is also applicable to Tchad ceded to Central Africa.

I've been studying the profile of the Angolan coach Pedro Goncalves. He's looking like the next Havre Renard. Here me out

He comes from the rich Sportin Lisbon lineage where worked as a scout and youth team coach. Trained some of the best young talents in world football like Bruma, Jao Mario, Eric Dier and Rafael Leao. At some point he was close to convincing Leao to play for Angola.

He worked his way up the ladder at Angola from an academy to U17 then U20s/23/Chan and now main team. He has successfully brought to fore a new generation of Angola players while instilling a fantastic style of play which we have witnessed. 6 of his U17 boys are in this AFCON.

His contract ends soon and he's obviously not renewing. At 47, I feel he's the ideal candidate to replace Peseiro, who could leave post Afcon. Young Portuguese coaches are very much in vogue. There are many of them working behind the scenes at Arsenal and Man city and Liverpool are hustling to get on in Ruben Amorin.

He should renew his contract with Angola

As first reported by SCORENigeria, a major pay row is boiling in the Super Eagles camp at the 2023 AFCON after outstanding bonuses and allowances of the team have yet to be paid despite a Government approval to clear these monies.


It can now be reported that the cash crisis in the Super Eagles has taken a new dimension after several senior players fell out with captain Ahmed Musa for “not fighting” for the team.

SCORENigeria learnt that the senior players accused Ahmed Musa of taking sides with the NFF leadership as it concerns payments for them.


One of the senior players who recently captained the team in the absence of Ahmed Musa had a personal confrontation with the captain on this vexed issue.


It was alleged that Ahmed Musa has failed to carry the rest of the team on discussions concerning their welfare.

Oma is busy talking about how the defense has covered for Nwabali. That is the same defence that was shambolic with Uzoho between the sticks. Nwabali's confidence has been instilled in the defenders, and he makes their jobs easy by clearing his line and distributing properly. Two things Uzoho cannot do.

This question should be directed to Oma. That said, Okoye’s decision not to come is a win win situation for us because it has given us the opportunity to assess Nwabali and also placed us in a position to have a quality back up in a player who is now a regular starter in the Serie A.
