Danielnino00: I sincerely apologize to the thread for the slow progress made so far. Getting the nomination committee ready is proving more difficult than I anticipated, but it's expected. Many of us have our lives outside of this thread, so not everyone can dedicate their time to the process.
Charlesemeka85 and Thegoodjoe remain the only committed members so far. Kog45, Bascovanveli, Komekn and Majoribanks have declined participation, while Thesupernerd is yet to reply.
Chriskels, Joebie and Andsungorilla, I hereby extend an invitation to you to join the nomination committee. I'd appreciate if I get a feedback sooner. Thank you Thanks guys for picking me, but I won't be quite disposed to discharge this duty this time as I did the last time I was involved. I have got so many engagements at the moment, so I would want to sit this one out for someone else so that I don't draw the team backwards. Thanks for your understanding. |

codemaniacs: When you want to quote a write up with intention to defending your own write up that was quoted, ensure you have the intelligence to understand your own write up.
It is foolishness and un-intelligent to argue about another race indigenous language. LoL can you point out where I based my claim of him being intelligent on his good use of English? If you can do this, I will buy you dinner of 5K. |

codemaniacs: Fluency in English is not a sign that a person is super bright.. that's colonial mentality.
His name has both Jerome and Adams in it that means he will align towards English and since english is an official language in Nigeria then he has to learn it. When next you wanna quote a write up, try to read with compression firstly. The post you quoted came in paragraphs. First paragraph talked about his intelligence while the second paragraph talked about his good use of English. Where did you read that his good use of English is why I consider him intelligent? Have you even listened to this boy talk? |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by ChrisKels: 11:55am On Nov 08, 2023 |
I have never seen a Nigerian player either home bred or foreign bred speak as intelligently as Jerome Akor Adams. Damn that boy is super bright.
I don't even wanna talk about his fluency in English language even though he hasn't lived in an English speaking country before, besides being born here in Nigeria. It is hard to believe he didn't go beyond secondary school education. |

charlesemeka85: bro some of this owngoal news na fake
Person just Dey try post am here to mk here busy and to hv something to discuss about
Rohr was hell bent on getting euro born players to switch to us so I see no reason he will miss such meeting that would hv given him the edge to snatch such young talent from the French
The only one I know he goofed big time was Eze. He had all the opportunity and advantage to cap the lad before eze rose to prominence but I believe what prompted the delay from the German is that the player was playing league 1 football then
This is the very reason why I advise that our national team handlers shouldn’t wait for this kids to play and perform in bigger leagues/clubs before been capped. Few minutes to any of the end world/afcon qualifiers would hv gotten us Eze Eze was outperforming Etebo in the championship yet the Tinubu of a coach kept on inviting Etebo feigning ignorance of Eze, yet Eze was the only player the team’s midfield needed to be complete. Werey was inviting Ogu, Agu, Etebo, Ndidi and Agbo all DMs, then Iwobi as a winger. That man is so clueless abeg |

charlesemeka85: they forgot so soon that when Okoye was playing in Holland he was rated as one of the top goal keepers in the league
I believe his problem in the national team is lost of confidence and the move to watford happened within the same time frame which also affected him in the English club
he needs a good goal keeper coach and psychiatrist to help him build that aspect of his game
Uzoho for once have never impressed me. Even against man united most of the saves he made were straight shots though he made couple of spectacular saves too
After the united game he was awful in their next league game 🤣🤣🤣🤣 A good psychologist you meant? Well I just hope the boy comes good to help the team. |

charlesemeka85: I have always said it that Okoye is better than Uzoho At this stage it is no longer about who is better or who is not. We just want them to perform. That said, if you are saying this because of these saves against the world class strikers of Cagliari, what then would you say about what Uzoho faced against Manchester United? I just hope Udinese gives Okoye a chance in the league proper and that he seizes the opportunity. It will be a big plus to have our goalkeeper starting in the serie A. |
