Arnaut Danjuma: Lieutenant General in Vawulence and Betrayal 😂😂

At Danjuma's Media Prep following his medicals at Everton prior to his Official signing and unveiling, he said this to Sky via quote:

Arnaut Danjuma🗣: “I will do absolutely everything I can to keep Everton in this League.”

Over 24 hours later.... Baba has abandoned ship and will have medicals as a spurs player soonest.

Chaaaiii... what a turnaround. 🔃↩️
Why the many news on this guy? Is he a Nigerian?

Lookman's role this season isn't simplified to just Supporting Striker. Watching his games and studying his heat maps show he either operates on the right or left of a front two (the other being Muriel, Zapata or Hojlund) or acts as an inside forward from the right or left.

SS is one of the roles we ascribe to him when he plays a little deeper than the point man in a front two as seen in few instances or certain game phases but it isn't his actual role definition this season if one look closely.

Never mind what Transfermrkt may present (they aren't always spot on on player positions), fact is he is usually part of a front two and recently in his last 3 games has been used more in a twin attacking #8 set-up (the other being Boga) in a 3421 operating through the Half-spaces with licence to go wide & combine plays with the corresponding wingbacks if need be while Boga does the same on the other side.
Presently, Iheanacho won't make my team.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by ChrisKels: 3:26pm On Jan 24, 2023
With the stats of the array of stars we have up front, I don't think Iheanacho still deserves a call up to the Super Eagles, especially with Lookman's ability to play as a supporting striker, the position that he has played with excellence so far this serie-A season.

With the way Ndidi is going with injuries and the unreliability of his so called back ups, I think we should consider this bullish Crystal Palace young CDM called David Ozoh since he is leaning towards us, and he also hasn't been capped by England at any level.
I had to revisit this, in order to repeat this. We should be moving on from Ndidi. Dude now spends more time being injured than he does being fit. We have to go all out for Lesley Ugochukwu, or we try to blood in David Ozoh and other possible options.

Interestingly, I was already preparing something on this lad before you asked this question. Well, I guess the cat's out of the bag.

Like Lesley Ugochukwu, here is another one with Naija heritage but raised in the French system.

Aside the wikipedia info of him moving to France at age 3 and being born in Lagos to Naija parents (Similar case to Yossoufa Moukoko of Dortmund, born in Cameroun and moved to Europe early under Adoption), what we need know is that he is a promising young striker who bagged 24 goals in the French U17 National championships in 2020/21. A left footed forward who stands at an impressive height for a 16 year old: 1.85m.

Belongs to the class of 2006's "French" Generation Next alongside PSG's Warren Zaire-Emery.

More info digging shows his Father is a Business Owner in Nigeria while his mum works for a restaurant.

George has 3 younger brothers and a sister. He and his immediate junior were born in Nigeria while the rest of his siblings were born in France.
He says he got into football because of his Athletic uncles from his maternal side. Idolised CR7 and Mbappe.

His goal against Maja's Girondins Bordeaux made him the first 2006-born to score a goal in any of the top 5 European leagues and their 2nd divisions. A Pioneer.

He did this at age 16 years, 4 months and 28 days.

So what are our chances with this lad? Time will tell but he does seem to recognise his Nigerian roots.

Here is a clip reel of the lad.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ie18eAebq3I

He will turn 17 much later in the summer.

P.S: I only hope, unlike Moukoko, he doesn't turn out a little older than his age currently states. Moukoko have been found out to be 22 and not 18 in actuality due to documents provided by his grand dad according to report findings. Their kasala.

Ilenikhena's story so far shows he may truly be his age and all. So yep, another prospect.
Well detailed. Thanks man
