StarBoard: @coogar, I'm sure we both have our reasons for against Moyes. Hopefully I will be proved wrong at the end of the season, but the signs are not looking good if you asked me. There's wednesday to assess him again. |

This our style of 'positional defending' is not helping at all. We allow opponents come to our half while we keep watching claiming 'positional defending' is BS! Waiting for counter attack? Abeg, we're not a bottom table team that plays with such cowardliness. |

DAILY MAIL
David Moyes gave Manchester United's shocked players the 'hairdryer' treatment for the first time since he became manager after a 4-1 derby loss to City on Sunday. |

The one d@ gets me irritated is wen skillful players r wastin on d bench while robotic donkeys wit no single footie intelligence r runnin arnd on d pitch. I jus hate brits n their pattern of footie. Too mechanical to my liking. They're d only ones still on 4-4-2. BS!!! If by dec/jan we're nt in d top 3, then, i'll join d #moyesout team. |

Cristalz: Exactly. . .blame cannot fairly go to some specific players alone 'cos the overall performance was crap. They simply did not play, and De Gea simply did not keep. Personally I think our traditional 4-4-2 still works good. That's why we always have wingers on our squad. Today there was simply no effort whatsoever, no performance to even base a fair judgement on about 4-3-3 being better against City.
Everyone had a piss-poor game, though Rooney still stood out somewhat. As for Fellaini, he hasn't been all bad since he got to OT, but I guess we can't all agree on that. D@ guy is not wat we need beside Carrick. Replays show he is @ fault for the last 3 goals. Another average player added to his likes. We should get our money back from Everton. |

RuuDie: Will certainly take time...I feel Fellaini should seize the gauntlet and be a whole lot more "brutish" --- he is looking too "Carrickish" for my liking! D@ guy is lazy |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by chrisley024(m): 7:33pm On Sep 22, 2013 |
RuuDie: Yes, anyday...anytime!
The key to winning the league lies in getting the points at the Cardiffs, Stokes, Hulls, Evertons, S'tons, Villas etc. Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs can beat us all they want...but as long as they go to those other clubs and drop points and we don't, we'll be fine as always! Winning big games lifts team spirit. Points lost cannot be recovered. |

Emperoh: Anybody who blames Rooney in this game watched it upside down!! Dude was our best player by miles
If other players had half as much energy and industry as he had, we wouldn't lose this game! City came at us with aggression and hazzle and we chickened out. Yet someone is blaming Rooney!!!
Where was Valencia when Kolarov breezed past him to score goal 1? Where was Fellaini when he lost his marker, Toure for goal no 2? Where was Fellaini again for goal no 3? Ball watching cos Aguero breezed past him and tapped in! Where was Fellaini again for goal no 4? Mscheww!!!
Nonsense!!! We deserved what we got! Maybe it's time to question the quality of some of the average players we got! N some pple r here blaming others. Fellaini was the worst player on d pitch. I said it wen i saw no VP da DM should've played him upfront wit Rooney, Clev n Carrick @ d mid. Wat this stupeewd British sees in Young n Welbeck i dont. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by chrisley024(m): 6:35pm On Sep 22, 2013 |
Cristalz: If Fellaini plays beautifully tomorrow, same people criticizing him now will also turn around and say "very good buy". One piss-poor game is not sufficient to judge a player's abilities or lack of 'em.
Moyes did nothing wrong with his selection today. Wish people would just see that the boys simply stayed asleep till somewhere around the 80th minute.
Any sub Moyes made today woulda been ineffective 'cos the entire team did not show up at all for the most part. One or two men cannot do the work that eleven are supposed to do. A mid of Fellaini n Carrick against a pacy City is senseless. No one to track runs. Dat's wat Cleverly should've given us 2day. Fellaini upfront wit Rooney. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by chrisley024(m): 6:09pm On Sep 22, 2013 |
Ibime: Carrick and Fellaini are too sluggish. One of them needs to step down for Cleverley.
I've been telling Fellaini lovers on Chelsea thread for some time that they would be surprised at Fellainis sluggishness when they see him in a midfield two. Last 2 goals conceded were due to his sluggishness to track player he was supposed to mark. |
