We didn't threaten in the first half because Rooney and Kagawa were going to help the back. When Nani burst free with power into the opponents area, it took a while for Rooney and Kagawa to arrive from their defensive help/transporting the ball forward from our first third. What was needed was someone who could help in recovering the ball from the Westbrom midfielders and transport it to our attack too. Janujaz was the worst choice for that. How many times did you see Rooney in our box area when Fellaini came?

2. As a defender, you don't have to let in a goal from your position before anyone can conclude whether you were good or poor. Buttner was very poor. Kagawa would pass to him, he will run with the ball into trouble, try a leg over, then wins a throw-in or make a wayward cross. He was as bad as Jones. Anderson only succeeded in making wayward runs forward. He hardly had any meaningful use of the ball on occasions he successfully drove through into the opponents half.

3. Janujaz started from Buttner flank. He gave away three balls in his first three touches and one led to the first goal for West Brom. He was bullied off the ball while trying school tricks. He has to mature first before given the kind of role he had today.

DM must be high on sth to have removed Kagawa early cos we looked like we gonna score until his withdrawal, then we became porous.

It will be unwise to give too many inexperience players a run of game. Smalling/Jones can be given the central midfield experience. Kagawa and Hernadez are the only ones who need a run of game.

But I am yet to fully understand Hernadez. His goals speaks, but when he doesn't score it looks like we played with 10 men.

I must say I was surprise to see him on the line-up after he play mid-week.. This is EPL game u need to win for God sake
