Well said, though the baby was already being slowly poisoned. Thank God for the CCTV and her motherly instinct that helped her *catch* her in the act.

Your post was difficult to read. It's not even pidgin English. Does your keyboard not have all the alphabets? Is it really easier to type *owt* in place of *out*? Or *et* in place of *it*? Na wah oh. My eyes are hurting. You deliberately misspelled ALL the words. Please leave some normal words for us *uncool* peeps to decipher. Thank goodness you didn't type *yhu*. That one seriously baffles me. It's a pity

But what I don't understand is why a man will be interested in a 2 year old missing FEMALE child?

When he already has older male n female...

I won't be surprised it's the father himself who is the culprit and just putting up fake concern to deceive everybody

These days,trust nobody!

I had to read and re-read your post. Took me a while to figure out what you were saying. Maybe because my brain refused to believe that someone could utter this filth? All I can say is wow, just wow. That space between your ears must be full of pap.

Crime / Re: Man Steals Formula To Feed His Baby, Gets Jailed In Kirikiri by chrispratt: 4:08pm On Apr 01, 2016

I really appreciate your lengthy post to further help me understand the natural challenges lactating mothers sometimes undergo. But I think those who are having serious inability to secrete breast milk are often quiet few. My sister experienced a little difficulty but was corrected in few days, my female family friend had similar condition and was corrected with a herbal remedy in a few days also. But my point is some healthy mothers are capitalising on the formulated milk as quick alternative even when their conditions can be remedied. On this topic, I don't think the mother had this condition of inability to secrete milk otherwise, the husband could have stated it to gain more pity.
Its sad when I see people especially women do all sorts of things from pregnancy to breastfeeding, there is much more work to be done on mother-and-child health advice.

I agree

Ignorance! The woman did not attend antenatal care, well I understand that (poverty or illiteracy ?? ).
One week after birth, she is already looking for SME (not sure) milk for a week old baby Sad!
If her breast was not secreting milk, there are local herbal remedies that work almost 100%! if she can't afford hospital bills.
The baby doesn't need any artificial milk for over 3 months of age! At least the man could have had some three months to hustle out baby food money legally. Women should stop sometimes unnecessary nagging and see that breastfeeding is the best for the baby till about a year or even more!
If you tell them now, them go say dem nor want make the bweat flat or say na poverty mentality.
Complete Breastfeeding remains the best for the baby till over 6 months sef! She don push the man to go thief now (though the guy probably have been stealing) and the 50k he doesn't have for milk will be used to bail him. Double tragedy.

Some women really can't produce breast milk. I know someone who is a lactation consultant in the US. Her job is to coach new moms on how to successfully breastfeed. Contrary to what people think, it doesn't come naturally. Yes it's natural, but it takes practice for both the mother and baby to get it right, in addition to the nipple pain no one warns you about. So lactation consultants are really helpful.

However this particular L.C. had a baby and did not have any milk supply to breastfeed. She drank all sorts of herbs, nothing helped. She was heartbroken. She had to resort to formula.

Bottom-line, not everyone that wants to breastfeed is able to. Formula is not poison. It was made specifically for babies' needs.

After all when all is said and done and we grow into adults no one knows or cares the difference between who was a formula fed or a breastfed infant. It's certainly never been on any form I've filled nor an interview question.

We all know that breast is best, but formula comes in at a close second. I'd rather have a formula fed baby than a starved baby. This is coming from someone who breastfed for way over one year.

Off topic, just wanted to put that out there

We thank God the truth is finally out!! I for one I think removing the principal and teachers was rather a Rash move! There are other professional and sensible ways of addressing issues like this!!Well, am not surprise People don't respect Teachers in this part of the world so anything can happen!! #GodBless All The Teachers! And All the Best Ogechi in your future endeavors!!

You call that rash?

In a more civilized society those teachers and the principal would have been arrested. And should the victim's parents decide to press charges, they could possibly end up in prison

There are other ways to instill discipline in children especially other peoples kids without disfiguring them

Those adults cannot withstand the pain they inflict on children all in the name of authority.

No disrespect to teachers but there are more creative and constructive ways of correcting children, especially if you were not responsible for bringing those children into the world.

There was a teacher in my boarding school who was a hot head. Everyone feared her. One day she flogged someone and the stick of the cane broke off and entered the girls eye. Till this day the girl (now woman) is blind. The teacher was not sacked or arrested but she became cold like ice fish, so quiet and approachable.

My point is that teachers should do their job and teach, discipline without being violent and you will get your respect.

Two years ago, a brother of a friend was involved in similar accident along Benin / Ore express.

He got out with no visible physical injuries. He spent the time rescuing those trapped in the vehicle. He actually helped in taking the injured to the hospital in the area.
By the time they taken the last victim to the hospital, he collapsed at the hospital and later died from internal injuries sustained in the accident.

My point here is that this young man spent his last moments on Earth saving lives, even at the expense of his own.
There cannot be a nobler death than that.

It's in sharp contrast to this lucky young man who had no time to lend a hand to the injured and trapped.

Yeah... Considering that he is now thanking God that he changed seat and very likely could have been the one trapped in the vehicle. If I were the one trapped I would hope that someone were kind enough to help in case there was a small chance I could make it. Every second counts

It's sad that his first instinct wasn't to help the people that found themselves unfortunately trapped but to jump into a free ride going in the direction of his interview. Or perhaps he felt there were other people in a better position to help?

Good for him but I thank God there are still some selfless people out there. God forbid I ever find myself in that situation, if I survive I pray that I would do what I deem to be the right thing.

However, the initial shock of the event might cause one not to be too rational. It's easy to assume we would do this or that but one can never know for sure.

I am shocked that you walked out of a deadly accident, unscathed, but you couldn't care less about helping those injured or trapped in the vehicle.

You could not stay a bit to lend a helping hand to injured, But you're asking others to thank God for you ?

Africans, we are so selfish and wicked.

I have to say I thought about that too.

There's no telling what one would do unless you find yourself in that situation but I'd like you think I'd stay until all the injured got help even if I couldn't personally help them. Or at least talk them through it in the hopes that they don't give up easily.

But it's understandable that shock would make one react differently

Sister let me carefully give you a counsel from a guys standpoint.

Marriage without dedication and attention is as good as friends with benefits. A man would make his woman cheat on him, if he doesn't give her the necessary love and attention. If all he does his to party, club and hang out with friends. It's VICE-VERSA
Never say there's no reason for recklessness in marriage. It makes sense in context but in reality nobody can beat the groans of being in a marriage where the other partner doesn't care and show much attention to your feelings and needs.
Marriage is an institution that needs to be fueled and carefully nurtured with love and attention. I am so sure you are not married that's why your comment is like lines of the romantic novels.

Happily married 5 years, two gorgeous kids wink kiss
However, we have mutual respect for each other. My point is, if you're not satisfied in your marriage, cheating is not the answer. How does it help? Not even a one time mistake but an ongoing affair leading to pregnancy? No one can be blamed except the cheating partner. Never blame a woman for her husband's infidelity and vice versa. I'd rather the husband divorce and go be with his lover than to be cheated on and lied to. Cheating doesn't solve anything and only leads to trust issues for the remainder of the so-called marriage.

You better make amends with your husband, don't let celebrity fake life fool you. Cut down on your public eye, limelight, party party thingy... No better advise. Am a man and we are the one that can give you the best advice this time.

You didn't have time for your husband and he looked elsewhere. That's real life.

Body no be firewood.

Firstly, you don't know what happened in her marriage and even if she didn't *have time* as you put it, there's no excuse for cheating.

Secondly if it was the wife that got pregnant by another man would you also tell the husband to *make amends with his wife*?

Women are not statues they have feelings too and things they should not have to bear nonsense in the name of marriage. She should live her life for herself and not some man that cannot respect her or his vows.

My own Val kiss Black is beautiful so natural, no foundation, no Mary Kay, so real and not fake plus cute hairdo kiss. Face of Africa - Look how gorgeous she is, such a pity many won't recognize her beauty coz she's not yellow. I hope she knows she's beautiful and accepts no one else's definition of beauty. I've seen dark-skinned girls reject dark-skinned guys coz they want lighter-skinned children. I know, they told me.

Is that a school uniform? She looks like a child that's not even old enough to wear make up. How old are you (and her) if you don't mind me asking?

If its a Woman that Cheats, The Same women will be like: Pray for her, @ OP are u sure?, Wear red boxers(as if every man is a Man U fan or olumba olumba member),catch her red-handed first, trim your tummy fat( as if some women wont cheat on Floyd Mayweather lookalikes.

My Advice for OP is simple, talk to her parents and tell them reasons why u might not want to continue with her again. Or better still, punish the hell out her and then forgive her.we are all sinners and have fallen short of Gods glory at one time or the other.

Should we also not send our kids to university too? Since the hostels/dorms are same sex. Boarding schools don't define sexual orientation

Psalm18:
undecided

At least they were not stoned.

At their age, their intrinsic nature is homosexuality.
Cleansing, praying for them, jailing them won't change that.
They will just learn to be more careful next time.

I'm all for NOT criminalizing gays and lesbians because the sooner you know who is who, the better you can guide your kids to avoid them. The nephew was probably sent to stay with his uncle who hid his sexuality and then lured him to the act. Imagine if the parents knew 'Uncle' liked boys. That's the danger of Criminalizing gays/lesbians.

Criminalizing them drives them underground and they continue their activities; it does not stop it.

Criminalizing them also spreads HIV and other STDs because some get married due to society pressure and still maintain boyfriends outside the marriage.

Avoid sending your kids to boarding school. Period.
