The most likely explanation involves a mutation or undetected variant affecting the hemoglobin gene. Here are possibilities:

1️. “AA” parent actually has a silent or rare sickle mutation (e.g. β⁰-thalassemia, HbC, or HbD)
What happens: Some people test as AA on standard tests because they have a rare variant of the beta-globin gene that isn’t picked up by routine electrophoresis or sickle solubility tests.
If that parent actually carries a rare abnormal hemoglobin (like HbC, HbD Punjab, HbE, or β-thalassemia mutation), then pairing with AS could result in compound heterozygosity (e.g., SC, Sβ⁰-thalassemia).

Some of these combinations can behave clinically like SS (sickle cell disease).

🩺 How to test: Advanced testing like DNA sequencing of the HBB gene, or HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) instead of standard electrophoresis.

2️⃣ De novo mutation (new S mutation arising during gamete formation)
What happens: A mutation spontaneously occurs in the sperm or egg, converting an A allele to an S allele. In simple terms your so called 'A' trait/gene reconstitutes itself into an 'S' gene.

This is very rare in sickle cell disease because the S mutation (Glu6Val) is well established in populations, but not impossible.

Estimated de novo mutation rate for the HBB gene is low, but if it happened in a germline mosaicism (parent has S mutation in some germ cells but not in blood), they can pass it on without showing AS in tests.

3️⃣ Laboratory testing error / Misclassification
This has happened in some regions where only solubility tests or basic electrophoresis were used.

If the "AA" status was determined long ago or outside of a specialized center, consider repeat testing with HPLC or molecular methods.

❓ Usually, this sort of trait as explained in 1 above can run in a family leading to lots of SID (sudden infant death) or lots of observed fatalities despite 'correct genotype match'

This obviously suggests an inherited silent or rare variant running in the family.
If multiple AA x AS couples are having SS children:
✅ More likely explanation: a family-wide rare hemoglobin variant or HBB mutation masquerading as "AA" in standard testing.

Think of it as a hidden carrier state.

Ask for:

Nah the core of WordPress plugin is the problem. Mind you I have been developing custom WordPress plugins for 7 years and I even contributed twice to the main WordPress repository.

The problem with using WordPress to build classified ads and listings webapps lies in it's core. WordPress is designed to be used as
a blogging cms. To do something else you will pack a lot of extra plugins that will eventually affect your optimization on the long run.

WordPress as it is, is already bulky enough and comparatively resource intensive compared to osclass. Osclass is like a tonned down version of WordPress for classifieds. And yes, Osclass has a huge library of plugins and themes too.

Elementor is a visual builder for wordpress. It's good for building clean and beautiful and responsive frontend but it won't do much for you when it comes to logic. Even for the frontend job, you will find yourself buying and installing tonnes of plugins for every simple thing.

Study a bit more, do some research on Osclass and learn that CMS. It's the right scripts to use. Cars45, Jiji and Olist etc started of on osclass.

I bet they are still using a custom version of osclass in their core.

Doska.ykt is a Russian classified ads platform I helped build in the past and we used Osclass for that too.

I am currenting dev'ing a SaaS platform from scratch that will allow product-led or product based websites and blogs to quickly scale their DA and SEO high from scratch.

My SaaS is focused on helping my prospective users sell more of their own products but conventional bloggers can also take advantage to scale their SEO. Eventually I will publish a paper on how it works.

To code with AI you need to be at least a junior developer already otherwise you will run into a lot of ish.

Osclass is a very popular cms. Just check out zeta theme on osclass...you'd love it.

With osclass you can integrate all the payment processors you want.

Of cuz, coding it yourself with AI gives you limitless possibilities

If you cant Dev from scratch with AI make use of Osclass with a nice theme. You can't use WordPress for this, for a classified, WordPress is too resource intensive. Osclass is like a lighter version of WordPress designed specifically for classified ads and listing websites. (It means a lot of features are already setup for you by default)

On an average VPS with 8 gigabyte of ram and about 4 cores of CPU WordPress with all your necessary plugins will only server about a thousand users concurrently. Osclass on the same machine will do 4000 users.

Note: Virtual private servers VPS are way way more dedicated and powerful compared to conventional shared hosting
