onyibor84:
No matter how funny this might look, the truth is that that Barrow pusher recently benefited something which he is happy with the governor for.
The governor recently visited ogbete market in enugu and ordered the immediate tarring of some of the roads in the market and guess whom the roads serve the best...the Barrow pushers who had to carry heavy loads and navigate the bad roads.
For him, he has the best dividend of democracy in the form of that very road and he believes that Ugwuanyi has done the best for him and should be returned.
Myopic you may say, but leadership that meets the people's needs is what we need most in Nigeria.
You just deduced everything embedded in that picture. I don't have much to say other than thanking God for the humble guvnor in the person of Ugwuanyi.

Enugu State is truly in the hands of God!

God bless bro Emmanuel and Lazarus the voice of the cross. they have really touched lives for Jesus through their songs. I was small when I used to hear their songs. Any time I listen to the fountain of life I shed tears. Thank u for winning souls for Jesus.
They are blessed and talented as well. Their songs are soothing and thought provoking, it brings one into thorough introspection. Heard their songs when I was still a toddler *winks* and their unique voice has always made it always walk down the memory lane whenever I hear it...

This one that the kids of almost all our politicians are tying the nuptial knots, hope there is no clandestine motive therein...

Organizing elaborate and flamboyant weddings with our lean, scarce resources whereas the common man on the street is begging to be fed with crumbs from their table.

We need revolution, starting with sending Bubu #B2D in 2019.

This man irks me, I can't wait to show him the route to Daura come 2019.

They want him to focus on Enugu city like Sullivan Chime and therefore all his good works at Nsukka isn't good enough.
Yes! and that would have been detrimental to the growth and development of other parts of the state.
I love the way the guvnor is carrying all the senatorial zones along in his developmental strides.

Dottore:
The governors are clowns. Ugwuanyi did nothing in Enugu since he was elected now he wants people to forget their plight easily with these cheap efforts to endear himself to the masses. It's unfortunate that people forget so easily and there's no strong opposition structure in Enugu State.
Can you beat your chest that the governor did nothing in the state? All the physical infrastructures he has been inaugurating and commissioning are for the neighboring state I guess. O! I forgot because he hasn't built any grandiose or white elephant project that would shoot him to the limelight of our polity that's why you are complaining?

Take a chill pill and relax Bro!
Politics › Re: Urban Renewal: Enugu Govt. To Rehabilitate 233 Bus-stop Shelters, Road Hand Rail by christejames(m): 7:20pm On Mar 11, 2018
Enugu State is slowly on the rise to the status of a 'City State'.
Government is continuum... It's nice the present govt is about to refurbish some of its critical infrastructures that makes up an urban area. Enugu indegines are civilized to the point that each successive govt have no choice than to prove itself to the people, and I think Gburugburu has done that and the people will say thanks to him by enormously voting for him come 2019.

Dakwambo consolidated on what Goje started and he has out performed Goje.
Gombe people don't like Dakwambo for reasons best know to them. But we that are strangers in Gombe sing Dakwambo's praise because the man is a good administrator. But I don't see Dakwambo defeating Buhari come 2019 because only Gombe votes can not give Dakwambo the presidential ticket.
Nice submission but I would only fault where you said Buhari is undefeatable hinging it on the votes from Gombe but I would like you to know that he is a member of one of the major political parties in the continent that just got rejuvenated coupled with the abysmal performance of the ruling party, you still think majority of Nigerians will repeat the same mistake they made in 2015?

This PDP currently is for the youths.

Not really here as a visitor, been here close to a year now and have been working with the state's development board so I know what I'm saying. San Hussein is even at the downtown area of the City and I don't classify that area as classy or pristine but there are a whole lot of development in that state for a state as young as that and also in the north, it speaks a lot about the quality of leadership which Dankwanbo wields.

infrastructural development in gombe was done by Sen Goje.
Who is wailing?

I am only saying the fact dear, don't care whatever you tag me. And I insist that most of the modern facilities in the state were provided by Dankwanbo. Danjuma Goje did a nice work in steering the wheel of the state on the path to progress but that not withstanding, Dankwanbo stands out between them. I'm currently in the state and seeing things for myself. I'm not an asslicker like most of y'all.

I reiterate that come 2019 he will send Buhari packing to Daura by his grace.

The story is a funny one indeed. I won't blame the undergraduate girls for behaving the way they did cause most of those post graduate students (especially those from other schools) always have this habit of intimidating the undergraduates. The male undergraduates once had a bitter experience with them, the tension was doused after their hall guvnor publicly apologized.
I don't know why they feel like lords over the undergraduate students. Besides, the school has just started its first semester exams so why were the post graduate guys disturbing them with the blasting sounds of football passes in their courtyard?
It's a minor altercation, and I believe everything has been settled.

7 Things To Consider Before Deciding An Institution

wittyfeed 02-28 10:08

From playing in mud to wearing school uniform for the first time, giving board exams and then finally entering college, time indeed flies quickly. Then comes the time to make decisions; decisions that could make or break your life. And choosing an institution is one such life-changing decision, as it determines where you would end up in life.

And once you start following what you like or pick a stream that really interests you, choosing an institution amongst others becomes relatively easier. However, to make things even simpler, I have compiled a list of what you must consider before choosing an institution.

Believe me, these points are a must for a remarkable experience:

Education

One of the most important things to be valued in a college is the quality of education it provides. And not to mention, we must always have a knack for learning. Getting your degree might be a proof of your qualification, but being educated makes you confident about expressing your views and opinions. Before deciding a college you must research well about the quality of education and placements that the institution provides you with.

Infrastructure

You must also consider the infrastructure of your college as you have to spend the next three or four years there. A college with great infrastructure can definitely improve your overall experience. Infrastructure really improves the overall system of an institution and makes students, faculties, and other staff perform to their highest possible potential.

Library

A library is the backbone of an institution's educational environment. It's important to have a well-maintained library in your college, that must have a large collection of books from different fields. Your library experience shouldn't just be limited to the books in the curriculum as digital education has also become a part of the constantly changing education system. From maintaining digital documents to providing desktops to make research easier, many libraries have also modernised with time. To improve your performance at the institution, you must look at the type of library they have.

Hostel facilities

Another important aspect to consider before choosing an institution is to look at the dormitory or hostel rooms, where you would be staying. It's essential to find a place that makes you feel at ease, and has all the facilities to make all your time away from home comfortable.

Environment

It's important to know the type of environment a college provides, as better the environment, better will be your learning. A positive environment in the classroom will only enhance the learning opportunities for students. The environment of an institution shouldn't be taken lightly as it helps mould a student's personality.

Culture

A diverse culture at an institution offers more learning opportunities. You learn more about thoughts, behaviour of people, different languages, customs, festivals, and values. It all adds up to one's overall experience. An institution that is home to various cultures, religions, and races helps in nurturing a student's life. It is equally important to have multi-cultural activities in the institution to unify people.

Extra-curricular activities

Some people believe that extra-curricular activities distance students from education, however, this is not true.

Activities in college like sports, weight-training, dance, acting, etc., helps in grooming someone's personality. Not to mention, extra-curricular activities also help in relieving stress, increasing overall health and boost your self-confidence.

So which University do you think meet this criteria in Nigeria, at least by 70%. Both public and private.
