There is hope for Naija |
When it comes to the aviation industry in the continent I give it up to the east African countries especially Ethiopia (although horn of Africa region). ECOWAS needs to learn a thing or two from them especially the so called almighty Nigeria. |
How relevant are they to the current polity of Nigeria? they should look out for the shock that will visit them come 2019. |
Empowering their selected cronies and lackies you mean? cause those faces don't look like the average poor masses on the street or roadsides of Toro or any where in Bauchi state... |
Is not about how much they share but how well they appropriate and transform the well being of their people... Our politicians seem to have rigor mortis cause they ain't feeling our plight. |
When are we going to start building public structures with the latest archetural masterpiece? It's high time we've abandoned this square design that we are already used to. Nothing refreshing in those pictures apart from it being a new polytechnic. |
One of the specialized universities in this country that is endeared to me. |
Keep 'em coming for proper assessment and appraisal... |
Nigerians, brace yourselves up for the latest amongst all electoral gimmicks cause we are approaching that avenue where all politicians and their associates brings out the latest comedy skit and show to the electorates to 'convince' and confuse them... What annoys me the most is the way they feign to be very humble as a rat or hen drenched in the rain! |
We've been scammed by them right from the onset... All the promises from them is nothing but a mirage. Watch out how Lai Mohammed will claim it was due to the just concluded PDP convention that the downstream sector is finding it difficult to supply Premium Motor Spirit (PMS). |
It's in the DNA |
SmartByki:You are right! I was about to say the same thing. The structures are of the same archetype... Even the name is also Centre of Excellence but I don't know if it's CBN that is funding it. I don't have the pictures for that of UNN at UNEC. |
DelGardo:I don't know if it's a trunk A road but from what spyder posted with the road's description signage, the road is being constructed by Ekweremadu that's why I'm eulogizing him. He was the one that flagged it off. |
spyder880:The quality of the work is topnotch... that's one thing I love about Enugu state, building of legacy infrastructures, and not in the league of states that hurriedly teds and pour coal tar on roads in the guise of constructing so many roads. Thanks so much Ikeoha (Ekweremadu) for this intervention, it's indeed special. |
That's cool! life is meant to be enjoyed while being a youth... Him achieving this at this age speaks well of his personal development. We all can do it. |
The drivers shouldn't bother themselves protesting cause Okorocha is more defiant and stubborn than they are. He won't even provide any palliative measure for them... They should take it up with good fate and hope Okorocha's heart is touched to provide modern BRT and Cabs in place of those hatchback he distributed to some of them weeks ago . Owerri is a beautiful city though! |
What a stellar performance/achievement from the scholars... Congrats to you guys! |
Wallace2107:You funny bros! thanks anyways. |
mrlaw93:thanks so much! I'm working my best towards it though. |
Beautiful! I have always loved to work in an aviation sector... I keep praying it comes to fruition. |
Africa! always running round the vicious circle... |
That's the male students hostels area (Franco). I'm surprised the management had to allow the refuse to reach such an unimaginable level before clearing. When I was there, clearing of those refuse was quite regular... Be that as it may, Franco really need a total facelift. Don't know why each administration keep overlooking and neglecting the rot that area of the school has become. Although the last time I visited that area, I saw some refurbishment of the structures albeit slow... I know the amount we pay as hostel fee is nothing to write about but the govt still can do more to transform the condition of the residential area of her first generation schools. UNN is a great school and this won't take that away from her! The students are resilient and indefatigable. |

The average school fees from a student for these universities can pay the salaries of close to 20 professors in Nigeria. Our universities should learn how to overture funds from corporate bodies both home and abroad to augment the miserly handouts/peanuts called grant which our govt dish out to her public institutions. I know we ain't where we are suppose to be as a nation yet but gradually we will be there. I would like to know the richest universities in Nigeria. |
Eternal Rest grant him oh! Lord. |
The incompetency of this present administration has left me with no choice than to develop love for the one I once despised (Atiku). If he peradventure makes to Aso Rock, I wish him a reign that will be lasting in the heart of Nigerians. |
I'm finding it difficult to complete a research that I'm carrying out. Please help me, between Ortom and Bello of Benue and Kogi state respectively, which is more inept and incompetent? May God continue to touch the heart of our leaders. |
That's the spirit. When you know what you want or what will propel you to that coveted lofty height, you go for it... Congrats dear, an epitome of beauty and brain! |
When one door closes another opens even wider... congrats to him! |
Yes I agree, I'm a dumb illiterate but can anyone highlight to me the significance of this pageantry stuff? They've even advanced to the level of roping in our leaders to frolick in their macabre dance. May God help us to set our priority. |
When it comes to cost of commodities I give all up for Nigeria, we have an edge in this area. Even though the recent inflation orchestrated by the recession have left the price of some commodities slightly high, an average man can still afford some basic commodities. Live in Naija is cheap mehn! especially in the north where I'm currently staying (Gombe); transport fare here in their city is extremely cheap for a very long distance. |
