ARE THEY HOUSING OR OWNING, THESE ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS
huptin: I wonder how a sane human being can concoct a pot pourri of lies and falsehood to make himself happy. Any way Self delusion is the opium of failures. The same Yorubas that he painted in such horrible terms are currently housing 80% of the nation's industries, out of 10 richest nigerians, at least 5 of then are Yorubas, even when GEJ decided to celebrate 100 greatest nigerians earlier this year 35 of them are Yorubas.

Now i know why my Igbo tenant can never like me, he has been fed with stories of how all Yorubas are failures and never do wells back in his village, he came to lagos and suddenly discovered to his greatest chagrin that everything he was told were lies, he had to practically meet one Yoruba or another for one favour or another in all his endeavours at making it big in Lagos. He couldn't come to terms with what he was fed with and what is on ground. I pity him, unlike most people though, he is allowing his frustration to slowly kill his Lagos dream. I predicted he will soon pack out quietly back to his village, i wait for the fulfillment of my prophesy soon.

OPOBO AND BONNY AINT IJAW TERRITIORIES CANT YOU UNDERSTAND THAT...IJAWS ARE IMMIGRANT THERE

IGBO OWN EM

benson81: The Ijaw speak nine closely related Niger–Congo languages, all of which belong to the Ijoid branch of the Niger–Congo tree. The primary division between the Ijo languages is that between Eastern Ijo and Western Ijo, the most important of the former group of languages being Izon, which is spoken by about four million people.

There are two prominent groupings of the Izon language. The first, termed either Western or Central Izon (Ijaw) consists of Western Ijaw speakers: Ekeremor, Sagbama (Mein), Bassan, Apoi, Arogbo, Boma (Bumo), Kabo (Kabuowei), Ogboin, Tarakiri, and Kolokuma-Opokuma (Yenagoa).[citation needed] Nembe, Brass and Akassa (Akaha) dialects represent Southeast Ijo (Izon).[citation needed]. Buseni and Okordia dialects are considered Inland Ijo.[citation needed]

The other major Ijaw linguistic group is Kalabari. Kalabari is considered an Eastern Ijaw language but the term "Eastern Ijaw" is not the normal nomenclature. Kalabari is the name of one of the Ijaw clans that reside on the eastern side of the Niger-Delta (Abonnema, Buguma, Bakana, Degema etc.) who form a major group in Rivers State, hence their involvement in the fight for greater oil control. Other "Eastern" Ijaw clans are the Okrika, Ibani (the natives of Bonny, Finima and Opobo) and Nkoroo. They are neighbours to the Kalabari people in present day Rivers State, Nigeria.

Other related Ijaw subgroups which have distinct languages but very close kinship, cultural and territorial ties with the rest of the Ijaw are the Epie-Atissa, Engenni (also known as Ẹgẹnẹ), and Degema (also called Udekama or Udekaama).[3] These groups speak Delta Edoid languages. The Ogbia clan, Andoni people, as well as residents of Bukuma and Abuloma (Obulom) speak Cross River languages.[citation needed]

It was discovered in the 1980s that a nearly extinct Berbice Creole Dutch, spoken in Guyana, is partly based on Ijo lexicon and grammar. Its nearest relative seems to be Eastern Ijo, most likely Kalabari (Kouwenberg 1994).

victor1464: Stop stayin wat u dont know..im an ukwuani/ndokwa boy..our tribe is not igbo..but its an igboid group of language(laguage with ancestral similarities)..igboid group of ethnic groups r igbo,ikwere,ika,andoni,ukwuani,etc...d edoid groups r bini,esan,etsako,owan,urobo,isoke,etc..hence u cannot say dat an isan man is a bini man,or an etsako man is a bini man..they r different tribes wit similarities...this also applies to other languages too..we have yoruboid group,d yoruba and itsekiri...an itsekiri man is not a yoruba man...in Nigeria so many tribes r interelated...an isoko man is also not an urobo man despite d similarities...4rm dis prove ukwuani tribe is not igbo.it is a different tribe entirely......if u want to know more about UKWUANI PEOPLE..just Google "Ukwuani" then u will know wat im sayin......... The word ANIOMA is just a political name which was concievd som yrs ago...its a socio-cultural and political movement which tend to bring 2geda all d similar ethnic group in Delta north senatorial distric...A-aniocha(igbo speakers),N-ndokwa,I-ika,O-Oshimili(igbo speakers),then MA is just an attachment which makes it meaninful called ANIOMA(good land).....Ndokwa was d 3rd largest ethnic group in d defunct Bendel state.Ndokwa is the 2nd largest tribe in delta state after d uhrobos, and its also d Largest in Anioma(delta north region) tnks ..its just like, for example,in EDO state, the bini, esan, etsako, and owan(ethnic similarities comin 2geda to achieve a political goal)
