victree007: I have a friend that got MSc admission with 3.03 GPA (German Scale) The key thing is to prepare your application way ahead of time and apply the moment the schools open their portals. Apply to about 15 schools if possible to increase your chances. Make sure your motivation letter is detailed, error free and should be written in line with each of the schools' objectives you are applying to. Your most important strength will be work experience if you have any. Emphasize on it on your CV and motivation letter. I'll advise you to apply for more MSc courses as well There is no way you will not be successful. Goodluck Good to know, love this bro |

dailydolar: sorry about that, same happened to me during summer what's your BSc area ? Or are u you going for a BSc course Zoology and Environmental Biology, 2.54 which should be around 2,8 in German. The worst is that the 2 application's were all BSc, one was restricted, d told me they got large applications for a limited space while the other free one made a mistake in their evaluation of my transcripts. They said i failed a course and didn't re-sit for it whereas I passed the course subsequently. I appealed for a re-evaluation but they replied that it won't be possible since their deadline have passed but asked me to send my applications again next winter but early enough by April. Dailydolar do you think that 2,8 can by chance get Masters admission in Germany? Cos am compiling currently both MSc and BSc courses to apply from summer but really in doubt of my GP selected cos many specified "good or above average GPA. Finally, I don't regret trying my luck this winter though I got the information by May and applied June-July, but at least it has opened my eyes to the processes involved |

But pending your admission, quickly apply for hostel accommodation via studentenwerk. Good luck! You got admission there too, ERM? |

Thanks alot The same stuffs everyone has said here, WAEC is not sufficient. If you are not sure of getting admission, apply for National open University to get your 1st year transcript, before you would be eligible |

Braket: I just had a funny and unscheduled exercise this morning.
I am used to getting to the bustop 1 minute to their arrival time. But the problem with that is, sometimes the buses are always ahead of schedule and I might miss it.
This morning, I did the same thing. Bus was to arrive say 08:20, I left my room 08:18, got close to the bustop 08:19. As I was almost reaching the bustop, I saw the front of the bus. I immediately picked race oh, but the bus driver saw me running and gave me one strange look.
In my mind, I was like this one is among those kind of drivers that see you running towards the bus but won't still stop for you even if you nack your head on the floor while running.
Owning to the fact that missing the bus automatically means my whole plan has been disrupted, I had no choice other than to pick race after the bus to the next bustop.
Na so I start this race oh between bus and foot. As I was running, I checked my phone and the bus was still 1 minute early. I couldn't just process what happened, but the thought of thia disrupting my movement didn't even let me think straight.
When I got to the next bustop guess what happened.........
I ran after a school bus . I felt like I have lost my mind.
Public buses are used as school buses, but the only difference is that the electronic display board on the buses will show a sign of two kids.
When I got there, the bus I thought I missed then came from behind. You need to see how the people on the bus were looking at me. , |
