Let me guess: Your neighbour just informed you of Nairaland and you registered an account just on December 28, 2011, 03:17:53 PM just to have an opportunity to insult your elders
exactly! of course your face-me-i-slap-u mentality has been quite accurate!

Wily1Wily:
Tell Yorubas to bring back the Money they looted from Nigeria Coffers when Awolowo was Finance Minister. Yorubas are the main architect of Corruption in Nigeria.
you just plunged head deep into your stuwpidity! so yorubas, igbos, hausas and other ethnic groups living in lagos must account for the sin of a yoruba man? who told you the protest was by the yorubas alone anyway?
when will people write reasonably without getting lost in this tribal mess?

karpentar:
The blood of innocent Odi villagers in Bayelsa state murdered by your brother OBJ are crying for revenge. Go and occupy OBJ farm at Ota built with stolen Nigerian money. Useless tribalists. Let the soldiers shoot well well in Lagos. Jonathan must complete his tenure and the petroleum sector must be completely deregulated, no matter how hard the Yoruba oil subsidy cabals sponsor you guys to protest on the streets.
another disturbed bo.foon your tribes men own flourishing businesses in Lagos. they would stay put than return to your village! yorubas dont live exclusively in lagos!
somebody help me please!! is there any other word to that describes cohabitation so these guys dont go shooting themselves in the foot.

OBJ's troops occupied Bayelsa,  GEJ troops occupied Lagos,  50-50!
dear Fo.ool
i write this letter in good faith that your stup.idity will be worse than that of GEJ. FYI:
not everybody  supported ODI killing, and how can i convince your inability to read that Lagos is not home to yorubas but all ethnic groups in nigeria?
i sincerely wished you were not a part of the over 10 million graduates that cannot string a sentence without some form of error in it.
baby grow, life starts when you start reading newspaper.

Time to deal with wild,wild,West
I have always known most Yoruba people are noise makers and cowards
Just some few gun shots in the air and they are on the run
Cowards
Wily1Wily:
Jonathan is not doing the right thing, he should tell those soldiers to shot Yorubas at sight.
you and your likes have shown how daft and completely brainless you are in the face of obvious tyranny by a government professed to protect lives and properties.
you have never in a discuss addressed boiling issues without your derailed argument  ending up in the milky mess you and your bigoted likes are proud to spill. Nigerians irrespective of where they come from, UNEQUIVOCALLY, have in one voice stated clearly that we have had ENOUGH of a government -
that have insisted in running corruption status quo, allocating 1 billion to feed its train of family and strangers at the mercy of others, would employ brute force at whatever price to stop a peaceful protest, intimidate foreign media from covering and showing the world the extent of decay within.
i would say, the result does not matter anymore, the FUTURE HAS JUST BEGAN expect it that WAY, thats the path this nation has chosen, championed by the Da.,ft in office.

eds announced N97 Naira
NLC disagrees and says, Strike continues but street protest has been stopped to allow for negotiation
OutLaws, led by Seun, a social miscreant, the son of the AIDS killed, igbo smoking, fatally womanizing Fela vows to continue the protest against the decision of the NLC/TUC and other legally instituted bodies.
Seun Fela is a nobody and needs to be arrested and jailed to civil disobedience. May be he thinks any enlightened human being buys indian hemps records.

Having said that; I want to warn Fashola as follows;
There are only Two Entities you can not fight against and they are God and the Government
If rioting and civil disobedience continues in Lagos, a state of emergency will be declared and everyone knows that once that is done, the governor and the state house is sacked for good and I can assure you, the military administrator that will take over will ensure that PDP takes the sit, and I for one will vote PDP just so that toll-gate and all other BAT/BRF empires will be decimated.

Protest wouldnt be that bad for the PDP, would it ?
when reasoning is lost, insults become the handy weapon!  undecided

Subsidy removal is overdue. During the Town Hall meeting @ Lagos, NOI mentioned that Feds is working on merging ministries and parastatals to reduce cost of running government. Let me add that the Private sector players were awarded licences to build refineries, but these private investors can not do anything as far as government keeps price of PMS at 65 naira. No one wants to spend billions and not make profit due to government subsidy and keeping the prices fixed at 65 naira. Even our 3 refineries at installed capacity can not produce enough. So best thing is to remove subsidy and allow market forces determine the prices, then private investors can build refineries and put their prices, as many refineries as possible comes on board, competition will drive the price down. QED
competition will drive the price down- like it did in the telecommunications sector for a long time? investors do not back down on prices until cost of start-off and running the product is achieved. and for your Nigerian greedy investors, i will dream till they do that.

NOI mentioned that Feds is working on merging ministries and parastatals to reduce cost of running government when did the FG boldly state that?  shocked. is there no sense in first reducing the parastatals and watch massive unemployment result in a bot-belly protest from over-fed bo.foons.

No one wants to spend billions and not make profit due to government subsidy and keeping the prices fixed at 65 naira. are u sure about this? do you know how much litres of gasoline Nigerians use a day?
these lame excuses make me wonder if we are from this planet sometimes.
PoliticsRe: Pictures Of Protest In Benin City South-south by chromoTop: 2:49pm On Jan 05, 2012
LeoMax:
It defies all intelligence how people want Feds to pay subsidy and keep price permanently on 65 naira despite changing prices at the World market. Even if a barrel of oil costs less than 50 dollars and price of PMS goes to $300 government must pay subsidy. Its obviously absurd !
Does it not defy your simple intelligence that a nation could save a lot by building refineries and refining her fuel in her homeland than ex[port it, refine it and re import it again subjecting it all factors affecting prices in international market?
does it not defile your simple intelligence that a refinery could be set up in 4 months if this government mean well for its citizens whilst employing massively and training unemployed youths as well?
does it not defile your simple intelligence that that economies around the world are crumbling at a faster pace, and your country, the largest exporter of fuel in Africa cannot cash in on this situation to dictate economic development in the near future?
do some deep thinking maybe you will find a solution stuck somewhere between your ears.

PoliticsRe: Christmas Day Massacre: 10,000 Protest In Kaduna by chromoTop: 12:24am On Dec 30, 2011
the question is not whether you support the protest or not, the question is when will all these nairaland's fire-spitting Gladiators protest and stop posting undecided
when will all these HALF NIGERIAN-HALF EUROPEANS/AMERICANS stop the war of diction and vocabulary and apply their luxury intelligence to Boko Haram tactics?
Until then, the fear of Boko Haram is the beginning of 'run when you see an aboki walking suspiciously'.
