I've always heard of the craziness of the NPF but today i felt it also.
Early this mawning, i was going to school, i school in port hacourt, at RIVCAS, so when i got to rumuola i entered a taxi going to rumuokuta. When i entered, there was a lil problem happening on the road but it was quelled speedily by the people there. So their agbero boss told the taxi driver to drive to the front.
The driver entered his car, this time with me, a woman and two children who were lapping. As the driver started the car and started to drive a police man just came from no were and started flogging the driver with a hug stick. The driver stopped the car and was complaining, the police man was like 'eh, your talking' and immediately broke the stick on the drivers head. We in the taxi were trying to getout. Immediately the driver vex and was complaining that all his body is swelling. The police man was like 'your still talking, i go spray you oh', immediately as the children got out and the woman was about to step out the policeman brought out tear gas and started spraying inside the car, i jumped out with tears in my eyes while the driver was running around and the police threatening to shoot.
Is this how the NPF has turned out to be? The police man sef was badly dressed sef..

In the first place , there has never been a time when the Nigerian army has been in control of this situation. They have fed the Nigerian populace wrong information at all time. how many times have we heard that Shekarau has been killed? how many times have we heard that he has been captured or killed in combat? how many times have they claimed to kill Boko Haram commmanders and turned out to be civilians with familiies identifying their relatives?
The government has never taken a decisive military action over this situation. You and I know how it has been happening- Boko Haram attack, run over town and seize barracks. the military returns after siege is over. I do not blame the military, they are just ill equipped! we have courageous men out there! To even stand in that region alone without any affiliations (family, relatives, home or land) whatsoever is courage enough!

Well if you have read the whole rejoinder you would have seen where he asked anyone/her to state if he had favored his friends in his banking reforms. There were five banking chiefs arrested then, and neither were those banks doing badly, the reason for their arrests if i remember correctly, were bad debts and the opulent lifestyles they lived, which of course were not clearly established if they diverted funds from their banks to their pockets. This is not an intelligent theory, we all witnessed most of the things he stated there! His facts speak for themselves and some of us are living witnesses!

can somebody explain this to me.

I have to say this man deserves more than what this country has given him. He made banking reforms those banks still enjoy today. The company i worked with back then would have gone bankrupt because of that economic crises, but it stayed up and proved to be one of the few companies operating in West Africa then to pull a profit. I personally owed him a gratitude for that.
I have a deep seated respect for Prof. Soludo. that's a real IGBO MAN! for NOI, I don't know her, but if what Prof wrote there is anything to go by, Nigeria needs to replace her ASAP!
