Yes o. Did worse things with my elder sister at around 6 - 8. We lit the cooker during hols, took out a pack of our table tennis balls and poured them into a pot(we wanted to boil eggs like mom used to do... Lol). Poured cough mixture into hot water (only God knows what we were trying to achieve). Na small thing remain make we burn house. Went as far as taking my friends into Dad's room and playing with his rifle, turning mom's make-up kit upside down after painting my face and hands... I did a lot of silly things.

I agree with the second one. Started cooking and making pastries from age 9. My waec and gce, I had A1 and B2 respectively in food and nutrition. Had the best cake,best juice, best fried rice and salad(according to my teacher then). They emptied all I made, and left me with just 1 small plate of fried rice, and a little portion of cake to take home... When I was much younger, I used to attempt to create my own recipes cos there was always more than enough ingredients to cook at home. There was a day a made one funny fried rice. I added virtually every ingredient in the kitchen, plus things for salad, to the rice. Poured ketchup, salad cream, baked beans, butter pear and different things into it;i mixed everything I could lay my hand on, that looked like it could go with rice. Different packaged spices, were added to it. By the time the food was done, it was tasting like rubber and I couldn't eat it. Had to empty the pot into the bin and clean it up before mum's arrival... Till date, that's the most horrible thing I've ever done in the kitchen and as silly as I was then, I learnt from that experiment, that not everything within reach, is meant for every meal.

Imagine someone who has done all those crazy experiment with food and has grown into a good cook over the years, how possible would it be for a woman to now brag me with food? Even now, I always stay hungry most times when I'm at work, and wait till I get home before fixing my meals which I sometimes eat at 12am... Lol.

I'm sorry to say but I'd just state it clearly. It's almost a taboo for an adult lady to say she can't cook; that shouldn't be heard of.

If I was a foreigner, there certainly will be no way that I wouldn't be a racist against Nigerians(not Africans). You wanna know why? Nigeria feels like an animal kingdom. No human rights, no form of order, no decorum, nothing at all works and from generation to generation, it's same thing. Everything is just upside down as far as Nigeria is concerned. Sometimes, it sucks to be a Nigerian. Ghanaians had elections days back and not even a fly died. Ordinary elections in few local governments, people are being killed. Thank God for siriusblack for creating that thread on th fight agaisnt boko haram in the northeast. I was almost making the mistake of joining the army cos I was tired of reading how boko haram was slaughtering nnocent nigerians. I was tired of ventng online,and wanted to contribute my own quota by taking up the risk to join the army just to fght boko haram. But after reading through the thread and hearng of stories of sabotage by certain elements in the military,I decded it wasn't worth it. The story of the troops ambuushed and killed at night when they had to obey their commander even when they had told him it was rissky to embark on that journey,and that the had run out of armour,broke me. That was when their colleagues had to commit a mutiny and fired at the GOC. To make matters worse,those guys were court martialled and sentenced to death... I advised myself that it wasn't worth it,going to die like that. Not because the enemy is actuall stronger,but because insiders were selling them out. Like me,most of these young men had dreams of going to fght and coming back to a heroes welcome but that wasn't the case for most of them. I salute those who have paid,and are currently paying the supreme sacrfice to keep us safe. No matter what the situation is,I can never entertain the thought of joining the military again... It's not worth it.

Why wasn't the philandering husband burnt along? Sometimes, it beats my imagination how people would intentionally use their hands to bring problems to themselves. How has his cheating lifestyle helped him now? I only feel sorry for the innocent wife and kids who lost their lives due to his stupidity and foolishness.

Like scavenging job, sh!t business is also lucrative but people will always ignore such jobs until poverty strikes harder.

Majority of the players in that industry were forced into it. There are other decent, and less-paying jobs they could have grabbed if available.


Be that as it may, I am proud of those labourers, at least for embracing a legal job. Armed robbery is equally lucrative and in fact, more lucrative than oil and gas jobs, yet people mostly embrace robbery in recession.

You all want us to believe scavenging isn't a result of recession, yet you are all snoring, and hailing over 30k stipends from Buhari. Hypocrites!
