In today's world, women and people in general can't be trusted and there's a thin line between good and bad when it comes to women, albeit "good"and "bad" also depend on your outlook cos what's good to you might be bad to the next person and vice versa. When you become cognizant with the fact that a lot of folks that are outwardly "good" are inwardly bad (faces of angels and hearts of the devil), while those who're outwardly "bad" are inwardly good - you would know that a lot of things are overrated.

Also, people do change, hence if you're planning to go the long haul with a female, you need to always have this at the back of your mind. At one point, Lucifer was an angel...and a lot of serial killers and mass murderers today were innocent/cool people who wouldn't hurt a fly. That's life for you. So, when making that decision - you always need to look at the bigger picture and not get caught up in the moment.

With me, once the level of education, which is essential, so as to be on the same level for understanding/connection/relation - loyalty, respect, and attractive physical qualities/aesthetics that will stand the test of time (with normal maintenance) and keep me attracted to the long walk became paramount. Then I rejoiced cos I know I found myself a real one. The type that's mostly extinct in this new age.

Taking back an ex that cheated is quite hard for me, not to talk of someone who did it with my friend. I'm seeing things on this thread that I never thought about before,and learning from them and would definitely make some corrections.

I once attended a government school for just a year and was given this kind of punishment. We'd crawl on stones from the gate to our class and I'd be left with sores/wounds on my knees. After one year, I told my dad I wasn't going to school again except he changes my school. Sharply, my school was changed cos he knew I was damn serious about my decision. This is a very crazy way to punish children.

That is my take

People who have done sextapes shouldn't kill themselves. However, we should try and not make it look normal. Kim's case is just a one-off. Kim isn't an ideal role model for anybody cos aside releasing a sextape and making money off it, I'm yet to see her contribution to humanity, that makes her a role model for anyone to compare herself with. In my opinion, she ain't different from the other porn actresses making porn videos. The world knows about Kim cos of her sextape and not for any other reasonable achievement. You can't glorify a Kim Kardashian and then condemn the prostitutes making a living with their bodies. If we agree that these prostitutes be treated equally with Kim, then it means we're at the same time endorsing immoral acts and vices and this is sadly, a path to destruction.

When issues like this are not properly addressed, it gradually becomes a way of life to people. Before Kim Kardashian became a celeb from her sextape and got married to Kanye, the ratio of people who would have accepted that,would have been 0.5 : 9.5. But now, the figures are going up. Sooner or later, it would no longer be a big deal. In the 60's to 80's,having kids outside wedlock, was seriously frowned at and families who had the misfortune of having kids get pregnant without a husband, had to deal with the reproach that came with it. Today, it's no longer a big deal to most people and what we hear is "na today e start "?

I'm very image conscious but that being said, If she told me about it from the onset, I'd ask her to provide info on who and who she knows might be in possession of such videos, and I'd work out a way of paying them off to destroy the video with the guarantee that if it ever surfaces again, they should consider themselves dead men. If they later on in future go ahead to release same, I'd painfully deal with the embarrassment and go on with life. But where she plays me a fool, acting all good and decent and refuses to share the truth with me and the tape suddenly surfaces and causes me serious embarrassment, I'd dump her without thinking twice about it. You can't live a careless life, hide the truth from me,and still cause damage to my reputation and now open your mouth to talk about love; thunder fire you and that your deceptive love.

I feel sorry for people using Kanye West and Kim Kardashian as examples. Of all the responsible humans on earth, why will anyone choose those two as role models? Janet Jackson once made a sex tape and her brother Michael Jackson, had to buy it off from going out publicly. If it wasn't an issue, I don't think mj would have wasted cash to cover the embarrassment that would have followed it. Nigerians like copying everything from the west but in reality, the traditional whites, still frown at issues like this, and do not find it normal.
