Finding a person who loves you and you feel same way about,is one of life's hardest tasks. Truth is,you may have to kiss several frogs to meet that special one. It's nver easy, coping with hurt from people you gav your all to but that being said, there's the possibly of one beautiful soul out there, waiting to happen to you. Try not to allow your experiences inhibit you. To be on a safer side, pay attention to responsible deceent matured guys cos most guys your age, probably just want a taste of the cherry between your legs.
Broadsway:
My name is Broadsway and this is a summary of my relationship life, please do read and give me a tangible advice. Tnx

I started dating In senior sec sch to a guy I loved and who never loved me back but only dated my cos of my popularity and the attention I gave him, breaking up with him I dated another guy just to forget the first guy and also hoping this wud be better but it didn't turn out well, he tried wooing my girlfrnd by insulting me, I confronted him, he apologized but I couldn't stay with him, I just zereod my mind off him even though he showed he was sorry. Some times later like 3yrs after met another guy but it didn't last, this last one was the most terrible but I wud ignore it cos it brings tears to my eyes.

So right now after 5yrs from my second relationship and days of training myself to avoid relationships and just be friends with guys, I find myself with people that love me and wud want to spend their life with me, but I can't reciprocate the love any longer, I feel like I am deceiving them, I like dem, even one has stayed with me through all my pains and lafta and also there is the guy who is the second guy who wooed my friend still asking for a second chance and a lovely guy dah I met recently who i see as an angel and lastly there is a guy who has spread my qualities to all his fam members and frnds and I know he loves me dearly.

My main reason for writing this is to know if its possible to make my heart love again and if it can which one of these four guys shud I stay with?

Tnx

Get the bit*ch locked up asap. She and her gang of thieves.
7Alexander:
What you are about to read happened to me last week, I just had to bring it here, because the more I try to wrap my head around it, the more questions comes to mind.

About a month ago I moved to another city, but considering its a totally different culture, I have just been gradually trying to settle in. So, on Tuesday Last week, I noticed a plumbing issue in my room, for which I went to seek the caretaker who lives within the compound. I later found him in one of the rooms trying to fix some things for another new tenant who I will refer to as Sandra henceforth. I laid my complaints to the man and briefly spoke with Sandra who told me aje was an undergraduate.

About an hour later, the caretaker came to my room to checkout the problem I was having, Sandra came with him, and as we were making small talks, she walked into my kitchen and pointed out that my pots and other cooking utensils were still new and unused, then i told her I haven't started cooking because I don't know my way around yet, so I haven't been to the market. She then offered to go to the market with me whenever I was ready.

The next day being Wednesday I made a list of things to buy, among which were some packaged and canned foods, for this we went to a mall. After picking the items, we had to join the queue at the payment point, while there, I remembered some things which I needed but haven't included in my list, so I handed over my ATM card to Sandra and gave her the PIN considering it was almost our turn in the queue, then went to pick those things. Now, I did this because, I didn't want a situation where after paying for the original items, I will have to join a fresh queue with the new items. Although I came back just as she was about to pay, so I was able to include the new items, we laid and left. Suffice to say that I had her pick one or two things for herself.

On getting home, I immediately went to an ATM and changed my PIN, just to be safe.

Two days later, Sandra came to my room sound 7:15pm telling me she wanted to go buy relaxer and shampoo but as its getting dark that she can't go alone, and she asked that I come with her, I obliged, as you would expect.

After buying the shampoo, we started heading home. Now, there are two possible routes home, the sandy road which was nearer and the tarred road which was farther, Sandra then insisted we take the tarred road saying she didn't want sand on her feet, but that was the route we took while going.

Just as we approached my compound, 3 guys rounded us up and told us to handover everything we had on us. I have to point out that after this whole incident, I could recall that while we were walking home, Sandra was texting on her phone and kept looking back. When one of the guys made the request, Sandra now asked them 'for what' immediately one of the guys landed her a slap and pushed her down. Then he turned to me and gave me a blow to the mouth saying I was wasting his time, then he reached for my back pocket and retrieved my wallet, then he asked me the PIN, I gave him a wrong PIN the first time and this was met with a hot slap to my face, then he asked again and i gave him the same PIN again, then he gave me a kick to the hip, I was almost paralyzed, he now grabbed my throat, I had no choice than to give him the real PIN, then he left me and they ran off. Interestingly, the PIN I gave to him was the old PIN which I changed few days ago, but my intention was not to lie, in fact I meant to tell the truth, but then that PIN had stuck to my memeory as I have been using it for the past 3 years.

Immediately they left, I made a dash for my room, with Sandra in hot pursuit, but I didn't let her come to my room with me, I called the bank Customer Service and told them to block my card, although the thieves had the wrong PIN, I felt they could still compromise the card.

The next day, Sandra was in my room and she kept trying to get me to talk about the incident of the last day, but I wasnt interested, she kept asking me, if the PIN I gave them was the right one, I mean it should be, after all that was the right PIN as far as she knew, she asked if I could recognize the guys, I said no, she asked if its possible for the card to be hacked without the PIN, I was just acting ignorant, but I've already started having my reservations about her.

Later, I decided out of curiosity to check Sandra out on Facebook, while checking the photos on her profile, I saw pictures she took and uploaded with the same guy that slapped and pushed her down while we were been robbed, I was dumbfounded to say the least.

Then it became clear to me, she set me up to be robbed. Now my questions are,
Why did she insist we take the tarred road, considering we took the sandy road while going to the Shop
How come the thieves reached straight into the pocket with my wallet?
How come they never asked for our mobile phones, naturally, that should be their first question
How come immediately I gave the guy the 'right' PIN he acceded?
Who was Sandra texting while we walked home
And, the FB picture shows she knows the guy after all.

My problem now is, should I confront Sandra d tell her I know what happened or should I just let it slide? Since that day she's been trying to cozy up to me, but the more she tries the more I become worried and wary.

Eyah. Why did you take advice from someone who doesn't know much about parrots? Respect for elders, shay? embarassed

You should take the parrot to a vet doctor asap. I'm guessing that the vets that handle chickens may be able to help your parrot.

Meanwhile, I would recommend cleaning the wounds with hydrogen peroxide or NCP and offering him water and his favorite food.

Also, search the internet for more information. I found this: www.quakerparrots.com/health/caring-for-a-sick-or-injured-parrot/

I don't know what attacked him but I suspect a rat. The vet I took him to said he can't give injection else the bird wll die. He askd me to mix tetracycline n water, and give to the bird.
Seun:
If he was attacked by a cat, he needs antibiotics asap. Cat saliva contains a bacteria that's toxic to parrots. The vet should know what to do.

I left him out based on addy from my dad but at 12:30am,the bird screamed so lound in distress and b the tine I came out, something had bitten himand left the leg deformed. There are wounds on the body, hairs gone out and he's quite weak. He isn't eating at all. What do we do? How do I treat the sore on the body and keep the bird alive?

In this era where people hardly behave themselves when in a relationship, checking up phones would be ineveitable. I am a free minded persn and can leave my phones open for anyone cos I don't have the desire and time to play games. However, one can't be that careless to just trust completely with all that obtains as far as relationships is concerned these days. When it comes to relationship,I'm actually a 100% loyal and honest, and deserve and demand same from whoever I'm with. I don't want to hear all that "I want my privacy gibberish". The moment you start clinging to your phone at every given opportunity,I begin to suspect you. Sometimes,I wonder why it's so hard for people to stay faithful and loyal in relationships. Haven't been able to wrap my head around why people derive joy in cheating the person they claim to love.

Anyways, based on certain experiences,I thnk it would be hard for me to cmpletely trust anyone again and as such,I would check phones if the opportunity arises or I begin to suspect a person.

it ended up.in a very nasty argument. i am not even in good terms with MIL and i am very happy wiit it.

After watchng this video,I have come to a sad conclusion. It appears the Nigerian security forces are trained to act like animals. Secondly, whoever led this operation, should be hanged by the balls upside down. How do you pour acid on a protester? Let's assume the person was violent;where in the world can such a thng happen? What were the intentons of the soldiers who took acid with them,t go and dsperse a protest? It's obvious there was already a premeditated agenda against these people. Never again will I feel sorry for any one of them gunned down by boko haram. For as long as they have the conscience to shoot and kill unarmed protesters, they defnitely deserve whatever they get in the hands of boko haram.

Thiis video is disgusting and totally unacceptable.

Nb: I am not a biafran but I can't keep quiet and act like this isn't a crime against humanity.

Funny how you guys reason and interprete things. Guess you don't know what the word "might" means. That a student doesn't take the first position in a contest, doesn't mean he isn't good enough to be first. "Might" not have a strong enough cv doesn't imply he isn't good enough or incompetent. It means there's the certainty and possibilty that there might be other candidates with stronger cv and more experience. I'm not one to come and shout that he is the best, when I haven't seen what others have to offer. But I sure do know he is a performer and has excelled so well in his career.

She has more experience in audit and financial advsory and honestly,I dnt think she is experienced enough to handle her position. What is special in being a senior manager at pricewater house coopers which is an audit and financial advisory firm? During my ACCA days,I had some of these top auditors and tax consultants from kpmg, pricewaters, mtn, deliotte,et al,lecture me. Even my papa wey work with barclays bank(uk),cbn, fbn, retired as an AGM in naija's biggest bank and has done consulting jobs for most of the top financial institutons in this country, might not even have a cv strong enough to nick that job. I had to go read my post again, based on what you wrote and I'm amazed at how you came to your submission. Perhaps, you're writing based on a different view from what I wrote. At what time did I say people weren't taking me serious? Secondly,I don't sit in my house and start fantacizng about Otedola or Dangote's chldren. I cut my clothes according to my size and from the average setting that I come from and belong to,I don't think I've approached someone beyond my level. Except you're talking about ladies from broke backgrounds, who like to set a standard that they never had the privilege of experiencing. That being said, let's use you as an example. Let's assume you're pretty, intelligent and educated but do not meet up with my moral standards,or you have the afore mentioned but have a different religious background and I see us havng serious misunderstandings based on your beliefs;what do I do? When I talk about specifications of a lady being what I want, these basic things I ask must not be lacking. And of course, some of the people who tend to tick all of these boxes, are sometimes married, engaged or in a serious relationship. Matching up with their standards doesn't mean they must quit their union for you.
Onegai:
Chronique, if the girls with your specs are not taking you seriously, its most likely because you are not their spec. You've described an above average girl in your specs, have you honestly asked yourself if you are an above average suitor? Because if you are an above average suitor, you will attract your specs easily. Your definition of how awesome you are is very relative to your environment: the girls who think you are a catch vs the girls who know they have better prospects than you.

You may have to adjust your specifications to meet your reality. Just because you met a pretty, homely, intelligent, decent girl in a bus doesn't mean her prospects are not good and she doesn't have great options. Plus a lot of people don't believe in that "I have prospects" talk, Nigeria is filled with millions of "I have prospects" and only 20% will actually fulfill it.
