When he's not around, look for a mechanic from far awaynand have him loosen the screws holding the underneath parts of the gen so the engine oil can leak out as often as possible. By the time his gen knocks like one or two times,He'd look for how to relocate his gen. Alternatively, when He's not at home, remove the plug and soak it inside thick black engine oil waste, and insert it back. Keep doing this as often as possible. He'd have to spend like 1hr each day before his gen starts(that's if it starts at all). Alternatively, pur water into his fuel tank everyday. He'd need to get someone to loosen it and drain the water out everyday. By the time He's tired and frustrated,He'd move his gen. davit: |
You shouldn't bother about him. It's in line with their(APC supporters) character. rawpadgin: |
Burn the useless flag to ashes. Wait a minute, don't burn it yet. Someone should tell Shekau to come and collect his flag that he has been looking for. The Nigerian army has seen it. |
This piece of news makes my belly real sweet. #Never again would boko haram ever capture a street, talkless of a town in the federal republic of Nigeria. Kudos to the N.A and GEJ. |
The boko haram war and menace, has evolved from stage to stage and with each new stage, comes a new discovery. At stage 1,the NA never thought they were faced with a formidable opponent but unknowingly to them, they had something else coming. Boko haram grew to become formidable due to the activities of moles within the army. This sabotage, gave boko haram ample opportunity to stockpile arms looted from the NA armory, and from the black market. At stage 2,boko haram used these arms to fight the NA and gained a lot of towns due to activities of sabotage in the army. The guerilla warfare tactic deployed by bh made it very difficult for the military to record significant progress. Nigeria hadn't been involved in something like this before, and the weapons possessed by the military were better suited for conventional warfare. If they had deployed such then, innocent individuals would have been killed and this would have led to something else again. At stage 3,the military realised they needed a different kind of approach to the insurgency and this approach meant getting new weapons and equipments that would suit the operations. At this stage, the FG approached our so called friends in the west for assistance with specific kind of weapons but they turned us down and even blocked most deals that would have sailed through. This forced us to go the black market way and again, the deal was blocked and a huge scandal was made about it. At stage 4,the FG had to openly request a loan for arms purchase and this loan would not be received in cash. A foreign govt would supply us arms directly to the tune of 1bn dollars, thereby eliminating the biz of middle-men in the deals. At the end,we ended up patronising the Russians and the Chinese for stuffs that our friends couldn't give us because they kept citing poor human rights records as a reason for not selling to us. At stage 5,all the mistakes learnt from the onset have been sorted out, neighbouring countries whose bordering towns used to be safe haven for bh have decided not to allow their territories to be used as a base for fleeing terrorists, and have joined in the battle against the insurgents. Weapon transactions that have been in the pipeline, are gradually coming into fruition and the tide has been turned against the insurgents. Sooner than we think,we'd win this war. Yes,we can't stay without blaming the NA or the president one way or the other but the truth is,there is no specialized manual world over, that teaches you how to successfully quench insurgency at once. The almighty US has been involved in at least 3 wars in the last 15 years and those countries where the wars occured, have been worse than the way the US met it. Libya,Iraq and Afghanistan are classic modern day examples. Even the US with all her might and weapons and technology, haven't been able to quench insurgency anywhere on the planet. If they had,we wouldn't still be talking about groups like Al-qaeda,ISIS,Al-shabab,Boko haram, etc. They are still learning on the job but they have more experience than us. The US with all her might, lost the Vietnam war that lasted for 30yrs cummullatively. The war was fought between the south Vietnam who were backed by the US and French forces, and the North Vietnam backed by China and the Soviet Union. At the end,the French and the US were defeated. Boko haram is not defeating us and despite our meagre defence budget,we're winning the war against them. Those who argue about Buhari defeating the Maitasine rebels shouldn't forget that those rebels never had the weapons or knowledge/support that the boko haram insurgents have. They also never had access to the kind of funds boko haram have. Finally, they never had a veritable means of spreading their propaganda and creating a larger than life image of themselves. When we put all these together,we'd know why some of us still give kudos to the current C-in-C and the military high command. Under them,Nigeria faced a new challenge and still overcame it. No leader in the history of Nigeria, has faced this kind of issue. Having a growing economy tipped to be one of the top 10 in a few years time, and still having to battle insurgency at the same time. If only we never had the boko haram menace, only God knows the kind of giant strides we would have made as a nation. At the end of the day,Nigeria shall overcome and we'd fulfil our potential as a nation. |
@ OP: point of correction;Cambridge never confirmed He sat for the exams in 1961. They only said hausa language was set for exams in 1961. They said they can only confirm it if Buhari comes forward to ask for his result to be released. We're still waiting for Buhari to go and ask them. |
I don't like insulting people but I think most of the posters on this thread, are just plain stupid. Do you guys think buying weapons is as simple as ABC? Or do you guys think it's like buying chocolates @ shoprite and strolling back home with a full bag? But in Nigeria, the reverse is the case. The opposition will rather prefer to use it as a cheap political tool, while the citizens would sit behind keyboards and pour all manner of blames and insults on the president. Nigerians have a mentality that their president should be a combination of Bruce Lee,Jet Li,Jackie Chan,Hulk Hogan,Super man,Power Mike, etc. |
Nice one. Since you decided to be a weakling, deal with it. But on a more serious note, you've got to be firm and stern when passing your message across to her. For her to attempt to hit you over and over again,She probably must be seeing some kinda weakness in you(I might be wrong though). You've got to sit Her down and tell Her why you have to support your family. Also let Her know how supportive your brother has been for you. Personally,I'd rather not get married, than get married to someone who would break the bond between Me and my sisters and mum. |
God forbid I give birth to such a child. |
Did you read what you just typed? Are you sure you read the article? If you read the article, and still typed this nonsense, then you should be ashamed of yourself. Ralphlauren: |
Everyone wants to blame the customs officials but have forgotten to ask the simple question of "why didn't the driver stop when He was flagged down". Sometimes,Nigerians are the cause of their problems;not necessarily government. With the high rate of insecurity in the country,it would be stupid for any driver not to stop when flagged down any of the various law enforcement agencies. Nigerians should learn to do the right things. |
You don't need to reply such comments. Reasonable Nigerians know only people with pap and sawdust mixed for brains, have the ability to post such silly comments. F22RAPTOR: |
Isn't it cheap enough? Haba!!! How much are you expecting a cheap tablet to cost? 5k? Yomieluv: |
People should stop attributing this to the failure of govt to create jobs. Fact is that majority of Nigerian graduates(as much as 70% of them) are unemployable. Go round higher institutions of learning today, and see how students are cheating to pass. At the end, they find it difficult to defend their 2:1. This is because the grades they come out with, isn't a true reflection of their academic prowess and as such, they find it difficult to match that standard in a work environment. No one would be crazy enough to hand out jobs to graduates who can't defend their certificates. As far as I am concerned, the bad quality of graduates being churned out from our higher institutions,is the reason why most people take into such trades. A graduate with a sound academic prowess who hasn't gotten a job, will focus more on how He or She can harness His/Her potentials and make something worthwhile out of it. Those who take the easy way out by engaging in prostitution, are basically showing you what kind of students they were(students who would rather take the easy way out, than read and pass properly) in school. |
Apparently,it's kinda obvious that the video shown about the anti-Buhari protesters,is made up. From the pictures above, you can see the lady who conducted the interview, carrying an APC placard amongst APC supporters. Why do I have a feeling that APC paid some people to act and look stupid under the guise of supporting Jonathan? In an era where digital technology has made access to information so smooth and easy,it'd be totally impossible for those folks not to know why they are protesting against Buhari. Apparently,APC folks forgot to tell their arrangee interviewer not to show up for the photo session, cos they needed as many people to show support for Buhari. APC always being clever by half;why can't they just successfully pull a propaganda that works? |
Aahhh! Nkan'be. |
It's only a fool that would have issues with this. If you are not a criminal nor do you have the intention to do something stupid that would affect national security,I see no reason why you should be afraid. The American govt uses it and the American citizens haven't gone beserk cos of it. If anything,it has drastically improved security in America. Jonathan has too many issues to deal with, than to monitor what I'm discussing with my gf or close pals. Those who have alterior motives, are the ones who should sleep with their eyes open. If you have a free mind, you'd go about your life like nothing happened;it's meant for internal security, not to spy on me for no reason. |
I totally agree with you. I remember vividly how the DSS website was hacked a few years back, and details and contact numbers of the operatives were displayed. That was the final icing on the cake for hackers. You can fool around with banks and other service providers and get away with it. The moment you take your stupidity to the level of national security, you should be ready for whatever comes your way. Few weeks back, the website of the defence ministry was also hacked;that's foolishness of the highest order. I support this bill a 100% Dreal1247: |
Lol. @ OP: I've experienced such in a commercial bus in Lagos on about two occassions or more. The worst part is that when it happens, everybody will start looking at each other's faces to scan who the fartee is. But no matter how you try,it can never work;you wouldn't know who did it. My advice to people is that, they should endeavour to clear that bowels properly before leaving the house. I wake up very early in the morning and drink water so as to open my bowels. After about an hour,I empty my bowels in the toilet till I can't feel anything. If I go out and mistakenly fart outside,it wouldn't smell. But to be on the safer side and avoid embarrassment, and to also practice decent manners,I make sure I excuse myself from the midst of people, before farting. That's what I was taught as a child. |
The two sleeping on the bed,are the ones that contributed to rent the space. The ones on the floor are the squatters. |
@ op: what type of rough play is this nau? |
The production date on the panel plate is 10/10. That's oct 2010. benik: |
It's a factory error. The vin carries 09 but year of production is october 2010 according to the information provided. And yes,it's not xle from factory but that's how owner bought it. benik: |
I pray they are able to achieve this. God bless the N.A and president Goodluck Jonathan. |
Step by step,we'd get there. |
Lol. Trying to imagine how the guy would feel after that day. |
