I think His campaign team has to see this and let's hear what they have to say about it. As for the dude wishing evil on the president, that would be his own portion;not the president's. |
It simply tells you Buhari talks from both sides of His mouth, and is "2-faced". I was shocked when I read that Buhari wouldn't probe past leaders if He wins. What then is all the anti-corruption mantra all about? Well,my guess is as good as yours. To probe past leaders,He'd have to probe pdp and apc past leaders and because He can't afford to send people like Tinubu to jail,it's therefore best,to allow sleeping dogs rest. Tells you so much about the character of the so called anti-corruption crusader. Any fight against corruption that would not bring previous offenders to book,is a sham. |
Lolz. The title of this thread should be "the unnecessary spirit of long throat that possesses women during pregnancy". How do you get to eat half of what a stranger has eaten, all because of cravings? Lord have mercy. The female anatomy is one wonderful thing men would never totally understand. ![]() |
Op,it's a lie. It's not true. It's actually a movie script for an upcoming movie they're shooting called "the snatch" starring Oge Okoye,Nkiru Sylvanus and Stanley Duru. It's a cinema standard movie being shot on celluloid. ![]() |
I'm shocked at the comments I'm reading here. This question should never arise in the first place. How on earth will you feel sexual urge to ur own blood? I've slept on same bed with my sisters sveral times and nothing happened. There were times when my younger sister would sleep and have bad dreams, and would run to my room to sleep and we'd share same bed. For your mum to think such a thing,it means a lot of things I can't say. And for you to say konji nor know family,it also leaves a lot to imagine. Upbringing plays a lot. |
I asked questions based on what was written up there. She worked as a secretary in a bank before going to London to study fashion designing, and when she came back, she went into the fashion biz and was able to acquire an oil block;where did the source of fund come from? Her retirement benefit from the bank or her fashion biz? Or is She from a very rich family? If you say fashion biz, what was the worth of the fashion industry in Nigeria as at 1993,that one would have invested in,to make enough more to buy and oil block? Please I asked questions that are reasonable and I'm not hating her for Her achievements. Since you think I'm ignorant, kindly enlighten me;I'm willing to learn. Thank you. InglishTeechar: |
I haven't judged. Notice the punctuation marks I used. I asked cos I'm not sure. I didn't type as a statement of fact. darediamond: |
Have you successfully packaged and lobbied for yourself, that you now want to package me and lobby for me? Or you don't like good things for yourself? If yes,how come I don't know you? Can you give us names of clients who you have successfully packaged and are now billionaires? If you can't provide their names, then no need selling yourself to me. I'd do better on my own. Empero1: |
You are the one who lacks low IQ and business acumen. As a fashion designer, there's no way she would have been able to secure the needed funds to establish an oil firm that would have the finacial capacity to bid for an oil well and win it. That's why I said "simple logic tells me there's no correlation between being a fashion designer and being able to float an oil firm capable of bidding for oil wells and winning it". The only way that could have happened,is if She was given as a gift due to either her direct connection with the govt of the day,or Her having contact to someone who has a direct contact with those in authority and as I righty thought,a nairalander has exxplained her closeness to the former military ruler whose wife, she sewed for and He in turn favoured her with that oil well. Oil wells aren't given to just anybody. Learn to think properly when quoting people. Empero1: |
Ok. Thanks for the clarification. extremelygolden: |
When a man of GOD who should be preaching to sinners, starts attending secular concerts where vulgar and uninspiring musical compositions are being rendered,it tells you how much of God is in him and how much of man is in him. If God has sent him on a rescue mission and ordained him to be part of the change we desire,I doubt it would come in this form. I know most people would want to say there's no big deal cos Jesus also dined with sinners but trust me,this is beyond that. I rest my case. |

Most times, when I read comments on nairaland as regards politics, wars and who the real terrosists of the world are,I feel so heartbroken. "Most" of the current youths of this generation are extremely stupid, ignorant, lacking in intelligence quotient and almost aren't useful to the nation called Nigeria, based on the silly comments they make online. These are the same ones who go through school, come out and can hardly defend their certificates. I need most of you,to read this piece on the Afghan war and see the contributions from the US,Britain and Saudi Arabia. It would also give you guys an insight as to how the Osama Bin Laden problem, came into existence. I culled this from wikipedia. The Soviet war in Afghanistan lasted nine years from December 1979 to February 1989. Part of the Cold War, it was fought between Soviet-led Afghan forces against multi-national insurgent groups called the Mujahideen, mostly composed of two alliances – the Peshawar Seven and the Tehran Eight. The Peshawar Seven insurgents received military training in neighboring Pakistan and China,[8] as well as weapons and billions of dollars from the United States, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, and other countries.[2][3][4][8][26] The Shia groups of the Tehran Eight alliance received support from the Islamic Republic of Iran. Early in the rule of the PDPA government, the Maoist Afghanistan Liberation Organization also played a significant role in opposition, but its major force was defeated by late 1979, prior to the Soviet intervention. The decade-long war resulted in the death of 850,000–1.5 million civilians[23][24] as well as causing millions of Afghans to flee the country, mostly to Pakistan and Iran. In June 1975, militants from the Jamiat Islami party attempted to overthrow the government. In 1978, the Taraki government initiated a series of reforms, including a radical modernization of the traditional Islamic civil society.[27] Between April 1978 and the Soviet Intervention of December 1979, thousands of prisoners, perhaps as many as 27,000, were executed. Large parts of the country went into open rebellion. The Afghan government, having secured a treaty in December 1978 that allowed them to call on Soviet forces, repeatedly requested the introduction of troops in Afghanistan in the spring and summer of 1979. They requested Soviet troops to provide security and to assist in the fight against the mujahideen rebels. Foreign ministers from 34 Islamic nations adopted a resolution which condemned the Soviet intervention and demanded "the immediate, urgent and unconditional withdrawal of Soviet troops" from the Muslim nation of Afghanistan.[28] The UN General Assembly passed a resolution protesting the Soviet intervention in Afghanistan by a vote of 104–18.[29] The initial Soviet deployment of the 40th Army in Afghanistan began on December 24, 1979, under Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev.[30] The first phase began with the Soviet intervention in Afghanistan and their first battles with various opposition groups.[28] The war developed into a new pattern: the Soviets occupied the cities and main axis of communication, while the mujahideen, (which the Soviet Army soldiers called 'Dushman,' meaning 'enemy')[31] divided into small groups, waged a guerrilla war. Almost 80 percent of the country escaped government control.[32] In 1985, the size of the LCOSF (Limited Contingent of Soviet Forces) was increased to 108,800 and fighting increased throughout the country, making 1985 the bloodiest year of the war. In the mid-1980s, the Afghan resistance movement, assisted by the United States, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, Egypt,[9] the People's Republic of China and others, contributed to Moscow's high military costs and strained international relations. Contingents of so-called Afghan Arabs, foreign fighters who wished to wage jihad against the atheist communists. Notable among them was a young Saudi named Osama bin Laden, whose Arab group eventually evolved into al-Qaeda.[33][34][35] By mid 1987 the Soviet Union announced it would start withdrawing its forces. The arrival of Mikhail Gorbachev on the scene in 1985 and his 'new thinking' on foreign and domestic policy was probably the most important factor in the Soviets' decision to leave. The final troop withdrawal started on May 15, 1988, and ended on February 15, 1989. Due to the interminable nature of the war, the conflict in Afghanistan has sometimes been referred to as the "Soviet Union's Vietnam War" or the "Bear Trap" by the Western media. From this brief history on the Afghan war,we can see that a group of insurgents tried to overthrow a legitimate govt and the govt of the day(as at that time),had to call on its ally for assistance. The US,Saudi Arabia and Britain supported insurgents against a legitimate govt by funding them to the tune of several billion dollars, just to spite the Russians. The same thing was done in Libya against Ghadaffi. I wouldn't be surprised if the same plot,is being used against Nigeria. With all the recent happenings between Nigeria and the US,it's obvious the US has a hand in the Saudi authorities, not letting us fly through their airspace. I think it is imperative that we learn from history and allow our senses to work for us. Libya is in ruins now and it doesn't affect the Americans or the Saudis. The Libyans are the ones feeling the brunt of it all. Nigerians should take a cue from this and look inward on how to solve this crisis. The Americans aren't our friends and they'd do anything to disintegrate this country. I'm very sure there's a lot going on in the background. Nigerians, pls be wise. |
Good one for Her. My only question,is how a fashion designer got an oil license. The report says Her company "Famfa oil" was awarded the oil block. Does it mean She was able to set up an oil firm that had the capacity to bid for oil blocks as at that time? Or was She someone's mistress? Simple logic tells me that there should normally,be no correlation between being a fashion designer, and running an oil firm. They are two distinct professions that are miles apart and not inter-related. But hey,it's none of my business. |
Use your brain pls. How do you want him to keep His credentials? Let me guess, you want Him to keep His O level cert in Kaduna,B.sc in Lagos,M.sc in Abuja and birth certificate in Sokoto? Is that how you keep yours? Think pls. akinladejo: |

You guys should stop hating;life is in phases and men are in sizes. If she can afford it,or her dad can afford it,I see no reason why we should castigate her. Yes,she could have been able to use the money to help the poor but truth is,there's no law that states that "you must help the poor". Sometimes,if you come across the poor and hear/experience some of the things they do,helping them wouldn't cross your mind. But at the end of the day,if God hasn't given you the grace to help people, there's nothing you can do. Just like some of us cannot afford to wear 1000 naira watch cos of how inferior we think it is,that's how some people see watches of 100k. Your financial status to a large extent determines what you purchase. You can't expect Dangote to wear 7k T.M Lewin shirt or H&C of 13k,but to some people, that's a big boy's shirt. Bottom line is,wait until you can afford it before you say whether or not,it's a waste of money. Afterall,if the rich do not spend money on expensive items, the manufacturers would run out of biz and there would be relatively no difference between the rich and the poor. Luxury items are for the rich only. The idea of they "must" give to the poor is wrong;they didn't make their money cos of the poor. Let the poor man hustle to be rich or continually be at the mercy of the rich. |
