You have pics of the ships in his possession or you have documents to back up your claims. Seriously, one has to be careful with the way we accept and believe news in Nigeria these days cos today, someone says something and tomorrow,it is being denied. I reall do not believe this news item cos I don't see how six warships would be sold to an individual(not a country),by another country. It defies human logic. Hopefully,we'd know the truth someday. For whatever it is worth,I'd never support one individual(whether or not he's from my region) to puchase warships.
mmaichel:
why is he denying when we have pics of the ships?

Maybe you should go through my profile and ask about me around NL before you open your mouth to spit garbage. Perhaps you think everyone knows NL/is internet savvy. Did you even read what the rules for this thread were, before you opened your mouth to talk? Dummy.

I know someone who's into the production of fast moving consumable products(fmcg) like airfreshners, liquid soap, insecticides, handwash, etc. His products are very good. Last time we spoke,he and his partner were looking for investors to invest in it so they can get nafdac approval. If interested, kindly hit me up so I can send his contact digits.

Look who is calling someone a fool? Your foolishness and stupidity knows no bounds. So,I should be the one to correct the error you made? slowpoke. Don't go and look for work to do. Stay on nairaland and be fighting pastors who don't know about your existence, over tithes that they collected from money that does not belong to you. I and so many others would still pay tithes on sundays. If you like, hit your head on the wall.

Out of greed, you took a human being's life. After, some people would say we should come and give our money to the poor. The same poor people who you'd try to help but would be thinking of how to snuff life out of you and take all you have. If the man did not make the mistake of trying to help this poor bastard,he probably would have still been alive today. Until we have a law that repays murderers with death sentence,we would keep having stories like this. When you know you'd be killed if you're caught killing someone,I think you'd have to think twice before taking a person's life.

I understand that part well but have decided no to go over it again. Some people would soon start arguing baselessly about subsidy removal. But on the other hand, there are corrupt people who do not want it to work so they can continue and maintain the status quo of importing petroleum products and claiming subsidy payment. If the refineries work, subsidy payments would be drastically reduced. Unfortunately, you and I know that this is not a good piece of new for importers of petroleum products,as it will generally affect their revenue and profits. They'd do everything possible to maintain the status quo and because a lot of Nigerians are corrupt, they'd end up having their way.
anonimi:
This is NOT so much about any cabal.
No, it is NOT!

It is about our clueless rejection of the subsidy removal & DEREGULATION of the petroleum sector. We would have suffered higher prices initially as with mobile phones & cement but with-

- new investors
- increased supply
- increased COMPETITION

price will start REDUCING after a while.

A clueless fool who does not sacrifice today will be a SLAVE to his neighbour who did, tomorrow.
No short-cut in life really except the one that will cut you short shocked

I think you're one of the most stupid humans to ever use the internet. So,you sit behind a computer and can determine if I've paid my tax from the comfort of your living room? You better go get your head checked asap. You're too silly for my liking. Just because you hear people use certain words, you also want to use them, despite the fact that you know nothing about what it means. What the heck is "religion is a scheme designed to exploit people physiologically"? Is that what you were taught in school? You guys keep talking about community service and helping the poor;has anyone stopped you from doing same? What's your business with how a man chooses to give to God? So long as it is not your money being given,I see no reason why you should complain.
abdulwastecx:
I think you should be arrested for not paying your tax but giving 10% of your income tk some pastors who inturns get private properties with them.

Religion is a scheme design to exploit people financially, morally and physiologically.
imagine how much can be done with all ths tithe if directed towards community service.
Politics › Re: Why FG Is Reluctant To Reduce Petrol Price by chronique(m): 7:20am On Dec 15, 2014
It's not just about the govt;it's about the people. Even when a complete turn around maintenance is done on them to make them produce at optimal capacities,it's still Nigerians who would collect bribe to sabotage the whole thing and next thing you'd hear again is that, the refineries are down. The reason is this: if our refineries work, the amount of fuel imported would be reduced and the amount of subsidy being paid would be drastically reduced. Of course, most of the importers wouldn't want such. So the best way for them to remain in business,is to keep sabotaging govt's efforts, while they retain the amount of petroleum products they import. It's simply greed and selfishness on the part of a few, that is ruining the nation. The money is so much that,it's hard for those in the system to reject the hefty bribes.
enkay4love:
u took the words right out of my mouth. I wish the next government would fix this refinery menace as its foremost priority.
Politics › Re: Why FG Is Reluctant To Reduce Petrol Price by chronique(m): 12:22am On Dec 15, 2014
If only we were refining our own crude here, all these arguements and counter accusations, would have been avoided. Unfortunately, the corrupt system would never allow refineries work. From 1999 to now, billions have been spent on reviving the refineries but the same cabal who want to keep making billions from fuel imports, have always found a way of making our refineries not work.
Romance › Re: Should Ladies Also Ration Feelings Of Affection Towards Their Partner? by chronique(m): 11:50pm On Dec 14, 2014
Relationships are getting more difficult and confusing because everyone seems to be setting news rules which end up choking both partners and at the end, they both go their separate ways,tp avoid being choked to death. What happened to the idea of loving openly, freely and genuinely? I easily get tired of people once they start setting unnecessary boundaries. If you love someone, show it;it's not a sign of weakness. If I love someone,I show it completely;no time for unnecessary forming. It gives headache and extra work.

Let's Have Your Take On This Please.

I saw a post on here. An Nler was admonishing another NLer, saying that, it is better for him to give a lady, "The More You Look, The Less You See Syndrome"
(That's just the summary of what he was trying to pass across)

In other words, He should make the lady want him more by not always admiring her or making her feel like she matters so much.

In other words, As a man, He shouldn't be "too expressive" --- so the lady won't see him finish shocked

Even though I strongly maintain that this is a form of emotional abuse and manipulation, that's not what I'm here to talk about.
grin grin

My question is, should the lady in a relationship be advised thus? May we also tow that path?

If yes please state your reasons, If no, let's know why too.

If you're in support of the Nler's opinion, please let us know why, if you're not, we'd like to know why too.

Let's contribute objectively

Cheers.........

And nobody gives a rat A S S about how "concerned and intelligent" you are. Last time I checked, nobody puts a gun to a church member's head to give. It's one thing for the pastor to preach it,and another thing for the members to obey. If you aren't convinced about it,nobody would query you. But trying to find fault in those giving,is a problem. You can't fight for God. Allow him to deal with those using His name to enrich themselves.

Nobody gives a rat a s s who you give your money to. However concerned and intelligent people among us can actually see through the charade of the so called Pastors that are robbing the poor masses of their meager resources to buy expensive jets.

Stop bothering about who I give my money to. Give your money to whoever you want while I do mine. It works for me. If people didn't give to the church, the church wouldn't have had a property to buy for us to worship in,they wouldn't have had instruments with which service is conducted with, etc. God will not jump from heaven to build a churxh for man to worship in,he won't come down from heaven to donate drum sets and equipments, etc. The needy can't afford to put these things in place, the needy can't afford to give pastor money for church decoration for christmas, etc.
pDude:
Why don't you give your money to the needy like Jesus commanded? Where in the bible did Jesus tell us to give to the church? He always said give to those in need. undecided

Givers never lack. I give in my church when there is an opportunity to do so and I can say of a truth that, there's a turn around in my finances. I give cheerfully and that's why I am being blessed. If the giving is not from your heart, don't bother. Remember Cain and Abel.
