i will be disappointed if you were not born in this indomie generation cos I believe only a person born in this decade would reason like this. For someone like me, I have watched my parents and other matured couples grow from little finance level to what you will call wealth. My mom never showed any desire to leave my dad because of finance, never. and guess what, they are doing well with their marriage like never before and have both made it today financially.

Even if something happens, my dad would never have the desire to leave my mom because of how they have struggled together from the scratch, unlike a lady who just joins from nowhere into the riches. I know about 3 families who also moved from grass to grace.

To the ladies out there, it doesn't matter if ur man isn't so rich as long as u love him. Play a part by assisting in raising finances too and when you both later make it in life, your love will be bounded by nothing.

I partially agree with u but let me remind you that our parents days are not the same with ours.my friend loved her guy through thick and thin,from university days and when he graduated,she still stood despite him not having a dime.when he finally "hammered",he gave the "i can not marry u speech" with several unnecessary reasons.after almost 7years.she nearly went "gaga".do u think a gal like that will want to start from the scratch with any other man?i will leave u to answer that.

I would have been in the Arts department but because of the fear of my lit in english teacher in sec.sch(he was a womaniser in an all girls sch),i switched to social science.spent time in the university reading every other book aside my big science textbooks,you can guess the outcome.planning to further and switch courses but the funny thing is am not still switching to what i have always wanted but to what can easily get me a job.sometimes i sit and wonder if only i have summoned courage and damn the consequences,how different my life would have been

I did my IT in an agro feedmill.think about the machines,maintainance of the machines,the workers salaries etc.its a good business but i dont think a millon will cut it

OP never said she ended the relationship courtesy of "accumulation of other things" but cos she was not introduced to her would-be in-law, and the bf didn't even bother to introduce himself to her father. OP beggin the bf is not new, more than half of married women/single babes beg their husband/bf just for piece to reign, so its not new. And like I said if a guy does not beg or say 'I'm sorry', it does not mean he is not sorry cos pride won't let him. There are lotta ways a guy can say I'm sorry without even sayin it out. So if u expect I'm sorry then u are on a long thing. My dear, u don't expect a king to tell his subjects he is sorry, even though he know he messed up, the best he can do is to compensate them somehow, or act like he is sorry.

If u de find I'm sorry from a guy like me, then u go grow bia bia, n don't beg me too, cos I know when I've done wrong. I'll always make up for my eff_up, and try as much as possible to stay away from anythin that will give me the reason to say 'I'm sorry'

If the BF has got attitude, I'm sure the OP should have been aware of it before now, cos am positive they have dated well over a year already. The bf didn't just develop dis attitude now, except ofcourse the OP has not really noticed it, but she just got mad now cos she was not introduced to her BF's parents

of course,he always had an attitude and she was always begging him.why do you think she was doing that?am guessing because she wanted to keep the relationship going.And i dont think she ended the relationship because of the introduction stuff,its the accumulation of other things and his reaction to them.

OP, marriage is a step by step process, and introduction of GF to parents is not that easy, cos the guy might still be sizing u up, or he's still not forgotten somethin u did way back and he's tryin to be sure before he introduces u finally to his parents, n u can't force him.

OP its people like u that I look for to date after this kinda break up, fvck a good number of times and dump. U know y? Cos its people like u that jump from one relationship to another just for some simple excuse like this. Its only when u meet bad guys that u would appreciate a guy like ur BF, n guess what, before u realize that I'm just using u, u would have been way pass ur shakara age. Most of this jobs are in Lagos,really frustrating and the annoying thing is that they send interview messages a day to the fixed day!

Lol...i wish sometimes that most "doubting thomases"will actually have real life experiences so that they will realise that strange things do happen.i was walking home with a friend one evening and we had to get a cab where they usually line up.i was in front walking fast and when i turned,i didnt see my friend beside me.i looked back and he was surronded by an old man and three guys.A passerby will think they were just having a conversation because they had cornered him but i knew something was wrong.i crossed over to the middle lane and just started shouting his name,pratically screaming his name(i was attracting people attention to them coz when they see me screaming,dey will look at the direction i was facing.The unwanted attention made them go in seperate directions but not before they had removed the cash in his front pocket,dey tore the pocket sef.when he came to meet me,he was so angry becoz i asked him how could he have let that happen,knowing that place is not so safe,he said the old man approached him first,dat is why he stopped and before he could say "jack",d rest of d guys appeared so people,always be alert!
