oluwaseunsniper: Reality check. Nice one and welldone. Are you able to mention what kind of shifts/jobs you were doing, just so ppl don’t have the wrong ideas. Coventry is located in the heart of the West Midlands. The West Midlands is the Hub for shipping's and logistics in the UK. I worked in different warehouses as a warehouse operative, Night shifts mostly. its a really tough job i must say. A lot of heavy lifting and endurance required. There is no magogo, no wayo, if you try to act funny, like sleep off, or slow down your pace, they'll sign you out ASAP that night.....I worked at Hermes, DHL and Disney warehouses. |

Hi guys,
It’s been a while I posted here. let me share my story with you guys
Arrived Coventry on the 22nd of September 2019 for my MSc. On my arrival, I had already paid £8,000 tuition with a pending balance of £5,300.
Fortunately for me, I wasn't going to be paying for accommodation till January because I was going to be squatting with a friend.
I came into UK with just £1,000. Guys I had to hustle oo, it wasn't an easy ride. Starting working from the 2nd week after I arrived. Registered in like 3 agencies and was working back to back. Don't get it twisted tho, I was still focused with school work, comfortably passed all my 4 modules in my first semester.
All I lacked was a social life and to be honest, that was really frustrating.
Fast forward to January, I’ve paid the school an additional £3,000 with a balance of £2,300 and I’ve now moved out to my En-suite flat which I paid upfront for 3 months.
I'm a bit exhausted at the moment and I really need a break but hey....I just have to keep pushing.
If you're coming to the UK self-sponsored like me, condition your mind oo, it’s not easy. |

Oh yeah Passport received this morning Visa granted Heading to Coventry ASAP chucksbadt: Oh yeah Finally!!
Called UKVI this morning Those people expensive sha, N6k comot for my account for the 10 mins call i made. The 6k is separate from the regular call charges. Last last just hold your ATM for hand with enough money inside if you one call them.
They said a decesion was made since 27th August. Immediately i dropped the call, i tracked my application and now noticed it was now 4/6. After like 3 hours, it was 6/6. My Passport is currently on the way via DHL.
In summary Biometrics done 19th August (Standard service) Decesion made 27 August Passport will be received tomorrow 18th September |

aivewobhor: Please house assist me. Am to pay my tuition fee via form A. How can I get the cbn rate for form A. Any1 with any bank location that offers cbn rate because the once I went to make inquiring on are saying 358 which is interbank rate. Please help a brother CBN rate is for only medical tourism and government officials. Using Form A as a student, what CBN will give you will be something similar to the black market rate. |

Blair99: Hi @chuckbadt
I applied on July 31st Biometrics done August 2nd (applied for "keep my passport"
Got a decision/passport request mail August 30th
Submitted passport Sept 2nd.
No more news from TLS/UKVI
called UKVI on Monday and they confirmed decision has been made.
Received a BRP collection mail from my uni yesterday( Sept 12th).
Got tired and just went to the TLS VI despite not having a mail from them today(Sept 13th) and I got my visa (dated 8th Sept)
Just go and try your luck! Thanks for the feedback The problem now is that i live in Port Harcourt and i actually paid for DHL service. Assuming i live in Lagos, would have walked up there myself since last week. |

Zoey1: 19th Aug to Sept 9th can never be 15working days. Do a proper maths, remove the bank holiday. Ask for extension from school. Flight ticket can be changed Wait and wait. Thanks for the feedback. I'll just wait then. I can't come and kill myself But if i may ask, which one is Bank Holiday? |

I'm really worried at the moment
I did my Biometrics on 19th August for a Standard Service . Today makes it 22 days(16 working days) and still no feedback.
On Tracking my application, it's still on stage 3 out of 6. My Msc program actually starts today.
I have already booked a flight for 22nd of this month. I'm really praying it comes out before then. |

Afternoon house
I drive a vw Golf 4 Manual Transmission
Car suddenly stopped coming on since Friday last week
It cranks but won't start
Yesterday my electrician came and changed the fuel pump fuse and cleaned the fuel pump relay.
The car now started
After coupling it back it's stopped working again. It cranks still but won't come on
Now this time there's light on the fuel pump fuse
But according to my electrician no light comes to the spark plug.
Any ideas?

ObodoNaija: Good morning all, please gurus in the house Can need help on this. l got admission in Nottingham Trent university and my school fees is 10,500 GBP, was given a 3000 GBP waiver which reduces the school fees to 7,500 GBP. I am required to pay 3000 GBP before a CAS number will be sent to me. My plans is to take a loan and pay the 3000 GBP for the CAS. And my question is will it be possible for me to hustle there n pay for the loan, remaining school fees which is 4,500 GBP and my living expenses. Going for Msc or BSc? How did you get the waiver? |
