Who is Dancok? Does he own a golf 4?

So far so good, a lot of people have criticized the Golf 4 saying it has electrical problems, gear problems, engine problems and so on. Personally, i drove a friends golf 4(Automatic 1.6) from bayelsa to Port harcourt just recently and i must say, i was really impressed. So stable on the road, i love the balance, nice interior and good power steering.

Those that have used the vw golf 4, i'll like to know your feedback, positive and negative.

This thread is not for v6 and v8 users, your case is pretty hopeless at this point.

Oya 4 cylinder peeps like me take note
1. Drive only when necessary.
2. Endeavor to shift the gear to neutral when the car is idle
3. Don't use ac in traffic.
4. Avoid unnecessary revving of the car for show off. Drive easy, keep the engine calm.

My license expired 2 weeks ago. I'm still with the 30 day bracket to renew my licence.

My drivers license expired just 2 weeks back.
I'm a bit reluctant to apply for a new one because it's seems like a waste to me.
For the 4 years i had the license, surprisingly i only used it 3 times on the road,the rest would be "ah Chairman anything for the boys"
And of cos i must Roger them something.

Driven several times from Port Harcourt to Anambra to and fro without issuing my license.

Just dont throw parts at it, you need to know whats wrong witht eh compressor, from waht you are saying it seems teh clutch on the compressor is the culprit, so see if that could be worked on, if not then you will have to change it.

Your AC clutch system might be failing, so take it for a check, by this I mean your compressor

The AC technician i visited earlier today said i should replace the compressor and it will cost me N35k.

Can AC compressors be worked on?

Good day everyone, my mums toyota Rav 4 AC only chills well while the car is on motion. When it's on idle mode, you can hardly feel anything.

What could be the cause, took it to the mechanic today and they discovered that there's still gas in it. They suggested the compressor might be bad.

Wonderful design i must say. TECNO have mastered the art of Design/Packaging

However, i noticed 2 major flaws

1. Phone not water resistant
Like c'omon.....Samsung have been producing water resistant phones over 3 years ago(the galaxy S5 series). Even the likes of Motorola, Apple, Nokia and HTC have all produced water resistant phones.
Expected more from TECNO at this point

2. No Optical Image Stabilisation OIS
For una way kno no wetin OIS mean eh......OIS na that feature for phone way dey mk person snap clear picture even if I'm hand dey shake....like assuming say u one snap picture for moto way dey move, no matter how the car dey shake, the picture go still clear.

So even with all this amazing Mega pixels(front and back), OIS should have been included.

N/B: don't expect any OTA ever........u go dey that 7.0 Nougat till thy kingdom come

Ignorance. Handbrake is more useful than u think. Have u ever wondered why it is difficult to engage ur grear while u are parked on a slope? Ha ha u think it's normal and harmless for u to be engaging ur gear with force and a loud bang? That is because the transmission is resting on the slope, it can wear ur transmission faster. The right way to park is first engage ur handbrake while ur foot is on the foot brake. Then put ur car in park. That way the handbrake stops the car from rolling and the transmission will be free. So that when u want to get ur car out of park it will be so easy without that loud bang.

Also useful when u parallel park on a very steel slope, let's say a car is parked closely behind u. When u want to move forward, on engaging drive, u would want to take ur foot off the brake to accelerate, ur car might back up before going forward due to the steep slope thereby hitting the car behind u. But with handbrake engaged that can be avoided. Just floor the throttle before releasing hand brake.

Lol.......i would admit i never knew this, even with my 4 years + driving experience. Jeez..... and i always hear that cracking sound when i try to change gear on a slope, and i thought it was a normal sound.

BTW as for when I'm on a steep slope, what i simply do is to use both feet. As I'm gradually releasing the brake with my left leg, my right foot will be used to tap on the gas pedal simultaneously

Whenever we want to jack the car we must put stone behind the back tire first......so that can't be a criteria

Hello guys, out of my curiosity, I'll like to ask;

For Automatic cars, it's impossible for the car to roll when the gear is on Park(P), still i observe some people engage their handbrake while the car is on P.

As for me, the only time i use my handbrake for Automatic cars is while I'm on traffic and i want to relax my foot, i prefer to use the Neutral(N) gear (because it's more closer to D for a quick start) when I'm on a hilly road to prevent the car from rolling

Good morning to all gurus in the house,I just got a mint a UK used hp elitebook 8460p, HDD :320gb, RAM :4gb 2 days ago. I tried installing Microsoft.net framework 4.0 and 4.5.1 set-ups on the system,all to no avail.An error will pop up, saying .NET framework 4 and 4.5.1 have not been installed because :HRESULT 0×c8000222 and then another message will say a problem caused the program to stop working correctly.Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. PLS WHAT SHOULD I DO AS I URGENTLY NEED TO DOWNLOAD THIS 2 .NET FRAMEWORKS?

Has nothing to do with your system specifications.
There are some updates missing via windows update. You will need to sort this out first.
